I ask this because we haven’t felt the need to restore an old backup and not sure if we will lose published content since the new update

@bguthleben , how did you rollback the theme ? could you provide us some instructions please. much appeciated
am using the ad inserter plugin and so far no issues with updates to the theme. if you are using ad inserter then don’t use the adsense code within theme panel and avoid duplicate ads etc.
I am having the same issue. when i am editing the page, say deleting a an element, i get the option to delete the block, but then nothing happens, so i press yes to delete and this happens.
this only happened after the theme was updated to the latest version. seems to be a pattern, every time we update the theme, expect to encounter issues like this. makes no sense why this is happening and this should not be happening.
If the update was checked countless times as mentioned in the tagdiv blog, then why is this issue occurring.
Where can we read about the changelog to new updates, so we know if we have to update the theme straight away etc
Brilliant, Thank You Guys
Think i missed out the word ad in my title, I want to place the google auto amp ad code in the body tag : https://support.google.com/adsense/answer/7486397?hl=en .
I am not looking for any customisation work either, just guidance on which plugin to use or a guide to inserting the code in the body tag
Thanks

have a read at this article Shaiju : https://forum.tagdiv.com/logo-favicon/ . Scroll down to logo size section and it will tell you which size to use for header styles
Thank you responding back Bogdan, I understand that it hasn’t been easy for you guys since the release of 8.7 update, but perhaps better to quadruple check everything before releasing an update would make sense as since the update to 8.7, it has caused more concerns than appease your customers including myself who has recommended your theme to 2 established news publishers and are currently running your theme.
I have emailed my ftp details to Alin who is going to try and fix the fatal error i encountered after i updated the site followed by reinstalling the TD composer plugin.
Also please provide us with the changelog info so we know what has changed in the new update.
Many Thanks.
Hi Bogdan,
I received a response this morning from Alin , here is the response
Hi,
Please try to update the theme again, but please delete first tagdiv plugins that you use. After you update the theme, you can install them from plugins area – https://www.screencast.com/t/dgc7coJ7g
Also please make sure that you clear all your caches and purge your files as I notice you use also CDN service.
If the issue persist please provide also ftp or Cpanel access so we can try to update it. Please make a full backup and disable your CDN service if you provide access.
Thanks!
Alin V.
Now please explain to me Bogdan, why in god’s name am I deleting plug ins in order to update a theme. This is preposterous. So you are telling me that number one selling theme requires users to delete plugins before updating a theme, seriously.
Also I provided my site username and password yet Alin is asking for the same details, which indicates my email was not read at all.
I would also like to see the change log indicating what the update is for. Again, let me reiterate, your customers are running professional businesses and they should not be encountering these sort of issues.
Try getting someone to verify this for you by visiting your site on their phone or desktop.
Get them to check different pages on your site
It would be nice if the tagdiv team can check double check perhaps quadruple check everything before releasing an update to their customer base who run legitimate businesses and can ill afford time and effort to fix errors occurring due to an update.
An update should breathe life into an exciting theme not cause errors and issues .
Raised a valid point ?
I restored my site before the update and am waiting for the reply from tagdiv team.
Also please do not respond with the obvious suggestion of disabling all plugins etc , the issue occured by reinstalling the composer plugin after updating the theme.
P.S – I have restored my site till this issue is fixed. Utterly embarrassing.
Ok thank you, looking forward to the update.
Brilliant , that done the job Simion.
Just out of curiosity, why was that option removed from widgets ?
Finally , i was planning to use a layout of one big post then 4 small posts as currently on my front page, is there any way to make that consistent as the user scrolls down for more stories on home page ?
Thank You again for your help
ok , now that actually worked …Jesus ? Thank You Simion
Now onto the next issue , the sidebars , if you go into any of my articles, the ad over the title gets overlapped by the ad on the side bar , this happens only on desktop. Prior to the update , i was able to move the sidebar using the css option in the widget which is no longer available due to the new update
Hi Simion,
I’ve purged the cache in wordpress and cloudflare and still no luck .
Hi Simion,
Changed the code and tried it, no luck , deleted the code and yet no luck either
Thanks
Hi Simon,
I believe i changed the code there as mentioned previously, Bogdan had instructed me to do so. I went to demo_style.less (includes/demos/blog_fitness/demo_style.less) and changed the colour code to my preferred one, yet it has not changed
Hi Simion,
I actually changed the colour in the style sheet as suggested by Bogdan, yet the colour has not changed, hence the issue. here is the site : gotbants.com

Hi Bogdan,
I wish to retain the orange colour code #FFA500, however when you hover over an article on homepage or within a widget, it displays colour #fc7d46 which is what I do not want and am struggling to change it within settings.
Re the ad issue, prior to the update, I was able to move the sidebar widget lower to accommodate the ad using the css option within widgets, however as that setting is not available I am asking for assistance.
Many Thanks
Hi Bogdan, I managed to change the sub menu colour settings, I still am stuck when it comes to changing the colour on post titles on home page and widgets. It’s black at present however when I hover over it, it still demonstrates the original demo colour.
Also, please provide me with a code so I can adjust the sidebar within posts as the ads are currently overlapping.
thank you
I have also followed Bogdan’s instruction to change the colour code within theme editor – includes – demos – blog fitness – demo_style.css , yet no change in hover colour.
patiently awaiting a response from tagdiv team
