Hello, Simon –

I spoke to MailPoet and this was their response:

Get in touch with this theme’s author and ask him to stop enqueuing his scripts on all WordPress Dashboard pages. This is his fault and he needs to fix that.

I am not qualified to comment – but I hope we can get this fixed for the sake of everyone.

Hi, Simon –

I have reported the issue to MailPoet. I hope this conflict can be fixed. Newspaper is one of the best selling themes and Mailpoet is probably the best newsletter plugin. It’s crazy that the 2 are now incompatible!

Of course. I was not suggesting otherwise.

I have already made some progress with my own “featured image” page template. The only problem is that I do not know how to assign the featured image to the page background. Would it be possible for you to give me some insight into this please?

Looks like the background is fixed – which is great! 🙂

However, the Woocommerce product gallery is working as expected. Maybe check this thread:

Hi, Catalin –

Thanks for your note. Some of the new single-product features do not appear to work correctly. There is also a legacy problem with the 2 tagdiv WooCommerce templates that do not display properly if you have a background color or image. (There is a missing CSS class!)

I reported this a while ago and it still isn’t fixed!

Hi, Bogdan –

This method only works with Custom Taxonomies. I want the layout to apply to the Post Type – which is why I have created a separate template: archive-custom.php. What I want is to permanently include the M6 layout code in my archive-custom.php file.

What is the best way to do this?

Update:

This issue is directly related to a demo (Cars Blog). When I uninstalled the demo the problems went away!

Hello, Again –

I’ve compared the code on the Woocommerce archive pages and a normal page and there is a slight difference. On a normal page the classes assigned to the content div are:

td-main-content-wrap td-main-page-wrap td-container-wrap

Whilst on the Woocommerce templates the classes are:

td-main-content-wrap td-main-page-wrap

The missing “td-container-wrap” appears to be causing the issue.
