Our Twitter has been configured in the Toast SEO wizard and the image is still not showing in posts. Our Yoast SEO configurations have been set for a long time. It wasn’t until the most recent Newspaper update that we were not able to post article links with images on Twitter.
Our Facebook posts show the image, but Twitter(X) does not show the image in the post.
The Twitter validator card hasn’t worked since 2022. https://cards-dev.twitter.com/validator
Also, I have the Yoast SEO plugin, but I don’t see a “Social” page option as indicated in these instructions: https://forum.tagdiv.com/facebook-share/. Are these old instructions? Where do I modify the social media appearance options in the new Yoast SEO? I can’t find them.
Up until the last Newspaper Theme update, we were able to simply copy and paste links into Twitter posts and the featured image from our articles would appear. Was there a change in the most recent Newspaper Theme update that changed image inclusion in social media posts?
Thank you. Do I just need to add lines 14 through 21, or do I need to add all of the lines? — lines 1 through 30?
Also is there anyway to copy this code, so I don’t miss a character? I cannot copy from the provided screenshot.
Thank you.
Thank you. I now have a staging site. However, I’m wondering what is the best way to transfer data back and forth from my primary site to the staging site and vice versa? Our primary site is frequently updated with new articles and small changes, such as new subscribers. How can I keep the staging area up to date with the primary site changes, then add those changes to the primary site with minimal loss?

I’m creating a staging website with my host. They are having trouble setting up the staging page. There is a notice on the backend that says “Your License of Newspaper Theme is not registered.” Do I need to have my new staging domain name registered with TagDiv and the Newspaper Theme license for my main website to transfer to the staging website? Thank you.
Thank you. What is the difference between creating a local host and staging? Do you have advice about creating a local host?
I’m confused. I do only have one official homepage. I just created an unpublished draft page within “Pages” to design a new homepage–it is not published and not assigned in the theme panel. I won’t publish it until it’s completed. What is a “staging” and how do I build one?
The problem I’m trying to figure out is that I want the content on the new homepage stretched–it is currently boxed within the large margins of the current homepage template. When I load a new Tagdiv homepage template in my unpublished draft page, the margins of the old homepage settings constrict the new draft–the whole point of the new home page is to eliminate these margins. However to change the margins, I was told I need to go into the Theme Panel and change the “background boxed layout” and “stretch background” options. Unfortunately this changes the current published homepage, not just the draft I’m trying to work with. Is there anyway to create a new homepage without affecting the current homepage?–this seems to be a fundamental function.
I’m simply trying to create a new homepage on the backend without affecting my current published homepage so that I can ultimately publish the new homepage and remove the old one when I’m ready.
Thank you. I turned off the “Background Box Layout” option as you suggested. Then I went to Theme Panel>>Misc>>Theme Background and removed the theme background image.
I was then able to stretch the content area using the TagDiv Composer Row>>Extra>>Row Stretch.
However, I was unable to stretch the header row using the same method. How can stretch the header area to full stretch? Thank you.
I have imported a new Homepage template to a new page as you suggested. I imported the “Pulses Pro” template to the new page. I like this template because the margins are much smaller than my current “Magazine Pro” template, which has wide margins. However, when I imported the Pulses Pro template, it squezed all the content into the margins of the current Magazine Pro template.
What do I have to change so the new imported template has the margins that exist in its demo example and not the margins specified by my current Magazine Pro template? Thank you.
Thank you. After I create my new homepage, what settings do I need to change to make it live as the active homepage? Can I save my old homepage by hiding it somehow?
Hello,
I added this code to Custom Code CSS and there was no change. We are using a post template from the TagDiv Standard Pack. Do you know why this code is not working and/or do you have any other suggestions?
Again we want to remove our post view count from the post but still be able to see the count in the backend under “Posts.” Thank you.
Hi,
By cache tools are you referring to caching plugins? We don’t have any. It’s not a browser cache issue. I cleared the browser and used a different browser–the problem still exists. Now the dot next to the author profile widget is missing in all the articles. Is there anything that I could delete and reload?

Oddly it is only the Wide Line version of the Separator that has disappeared. When I change it to Default or Dots, it appears. I do not have a caching plugin. What do you mean by “clear the cache”? Which cache? Thank you.
Yes, but is one mobile option optimized for speed and video content more than the others? Thank you.
Thank you very much Chris. I’ll give this a try.
Yes, I believe Anamaria just means: Click on Theme Panel, scroll down to the bottom and click “Save Settings” in the bottom righthand corner of the page–this is not for any particular setting. Just simply click “Save Settings.” I did this and the extra space and the ^ at the top of my front-end page disappeared.
For all of our posts we use a default template from the standard pack. Is there any way to add shortcode to a default global post template? The problem is that some of our articles have multiple authors. For some reason, Newspaper Theme’s default templates only allow one author per post. So we had to use a authors plugin that allows multiple authors with a shortcode. So everytime I create a post, I add in the Authors plugin shortcode at the beginning and at the end of the article. Can shortcodes be added to this default global post template?–I don’t see an option to add shortcode to default posts within the theme panel settings.
Or must I use a cloud template to add a global shortcode in each post? Thank you.
Simchris, thank you very much for the tips. Indeed, when I rolled back Publish Press to its previous version, all the author blocks reappeared. Then I re-updated Publish Press to its current version and the author boxes no longer appear. It doesn’t look like there are any complaints on the WordPress forum, however, I’m only on the free version, so maybe the paid version addresses this problem. I submitted the question on the free forum, but have not heard a reply. For security reasons I think I’ll keep the plugin in its most recent version until I hear a response. Thanks again.
What are the “undo” options within TagDiv? At the bottom of the lefthand panel I see the circular undo arrows. But is there a revision history I can access if changes have been saved? Please provide the different ways I can undo changes. It seems the only way to redo the site is to reload a previous version. When I do this we lose viewer and traffic counts.

Is the search page a page or a template? Other than the tagdiv composer, I do not see an edit option on the search page. Is there any way to recover after revisions of the search page?
Thank you for making this request. I think this update would increase login security.
