There is no option available for “Featured Image> Disable SHOW FEATURED IMAGE and FEATURED IMAGE PLACEHOLDER” under Theme Panel> Post settings>

Please help in resolving these problems:

My home page is showing FULL posts. I want my home page to show only a certain number of posts (say 10) with excerpts only.

Also each post on my home page is showing same image twice. I just want image occuring once only.

I cleared the browser cache.

If you visit my home page, it’s showing double images as well as full text of the posts. Where as earlier it was showing single image and excerpts of the posts.

2. I am using SiteGround for hosting services. And using their SG Optimizer plugin instead of any other cache plugin. It’s working fine with Newspaper theme. Will it work ok with the mobile theme as well?

As advised by you, I contacted Envato Market. They have asked me to contact the Author. Here below is their response.

Please look into my account. I have purchased TWO Newspaper themes. They are shown in my account as Downloads NewspaerX version. I am using it on my one website. When I download the one which I purchased earlier on the second site, it’s downloaded as Newspaper 8.5 version with no option to down load the plugins.

Please check my account and advise me what I need to do to use it on the second site.

Thanks for your help. If I place the 2nd code as Satwik has advised:

“Go to Theme panel -> Mobile Theme -> AMP Ads -> paste the second code in “ADSENSE AUTO ADS FOR AMP” field.”

So, as I will be using ADSENSE AUTO ADS FOR AMP, will I have to place the individual mobile ads codes also.

Because as the Google adsense will be determining number of ads & placing the ads at the suitable places – so there may not be need to place the individual mobile ads code.

I received a mail day before yesterday from Envato: [ThemeForest] Update available for ‘Newspaper’

I have read at least three tickets raised by the members that after updating their Newspaper theme their sites have been badly messed up. So far these tickets have not been responded. So, I am very apprehensive whether to update the Newspaper theme or wait for few days till those tickets are responded.
