Hi,
Normally each element has its own default CSS, which is replaced if the element is customized in the composer. However, it’s strange that CSS used by the column title element affects other headings. The CSS is applied via a unique class, not targeting headings. Like in the code you provided, the unique class is .tdi_51, and unless this class is set on a heading then the CSS should not apply to it.
Could you provide a link to where I can see this issue? If you can’t provide a link in the forum, please send us an email at contact@tagdiv.com and we can continue there.
Let me know.
Thanks.
Hi,
That is possible, you can use your own ads if you want.
The ad box element https://forum.tagdiv.com/ads-adsense-overview/ supports simple ads like images and links, like this one https://prnt.sc/Ya7HNQ9byN8v
The sizes are up to you. It depends on where you display the ad and how much space is available there. You can set different images or sizes per device if you want or hide them per device https://prnt.sc/4j1JBrb40TTA There are also options to set the width/height you want in the composer regardless of what size your image is.
I suggest experimenting a bit with the ad box, and let me know if I can help more.
Thanks.
Hi,
I’ll need more details about it. Below which image exactly and where?
Thanks.
Hi,
I removed the old websites. The key should be assigned to your new website now. Please check as well.
Thanks.
Hi,
For me the More menu item doesn’t appear at all on the website. The menu items are just disappearing. Actually they go on a second row and they are invisible. I will take a closer look at this, please send us an email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide admin login (user and pass) for the website. Then I can check the issue better.
Thanks.
Hi,
If its a large website then it could take longer. You could try optimizing the database if possible, there are multiple guides, like this one https://www.wpbeginner.com/plugins/optimize-your-wordpress-database-with-one-click/
Dedicated search plugins (mostly premium versions) can provide faster results https://www.wpbeginner.com/showcase/12-wordpress-search-plugins-to-improve-your-site-search/
But other than this there isn’t much else that could be done.
Thanks.
Hi,
I replied in the email. Please check as well and let me know.
Thanks.
Hi,
Maybe there is a margin or padding on the row, or the column that contains the revolution slider element, in the composer. If you check in the CSS tab of the row and column https://prnt.sc/ds3Rm_FgcFKe and there are values set there, please remove them.
If I could see the issue on the website I could inspect it and see what exactly is creating the space. The website is in maintenance mode however. If you want you can send us an email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide admin login for the website, so I can log in and check the issue directly.
Let me know.
Thanks.
Hi,
Maybe the homepage can be restored. Are there revisions available? They should appear in the page edit screen like so https://prnt.sc/M75Cy7VMgDj4 These will allow you to restore older versions of the page, it the page worked before. The other solution would be to import a new homepage from the cloud library and use only the composer to customize it.
As Chris mentioned, it is indeed generally not advisable to edit pages with two builders, the result is usually that the page can’t be edited with neither of them anymore. But please check if you have revisions available and restore the page to working order.
Thanks.
Hi,
Sorry for the delay, I have replied by email. Please check as well and let me know.
Thanks.
Hi,
That will be fine, it will count as a staging domain, which is allowed for exactly the purpose of testing as much as you want. Please try it. In case there are any issues please let us know and we will check.
Thanks.
Hi,
Unfortunately we don’t provide custom services in this matter at this time. But maybe we can help with suggestions. I suggest sending us an email at contact@tagdiv.com and there please mention what violations the website broke, or what are the problems google found with the website. We will try to help.
Thanks.
Hi,
We know about that issue. It’s fixed in the coming theme update. It’s related to the subscription plugin.
A quickfix is to enable the lockers for the events, please check in the theme panel and you should see your events post type and enable the locker for them here https://prnt.sc/2vRjAnM-IliL This just enables the option to use lockers for the events, you don’t have to actually set lockers for them, just enable that option.
We are very sorry for this inconvenience. Please try it and then publishing/updating events should function correctly.
Thanks.
Hi,
So normally that could be done but it takes a bit of work if there are many authors. If each author would use their own locker and plans, then on each of their plans you can set a list of their own https://prnt.sc/ULvbkObmrcRo Each list will contain the emails of the subscribers that subscribed to the plans of a respective author.
Maybe it could be done with customization of the plugin, but if it requires modifications to the plugin files directly, then the modifications will have to be remade each time the plugin is updated. We don’t however have plans on modifying the plugin soon on our side, maybe only minor fixes.
Thanks.
Hi,
If I test the code provided by my colleague it works like this.
The code adds an underline below half of the link https://prnt.sc/DK-YQ7TJiugl and when I hover it it extends below the full link https://prnt.sc/XLA0TVbN009X
It doesn’t seem to cover the words in any way. I can modify it if you want, would you like the links to be like this? https://prnt.sc/a7PJqc9og2xM meaning over the words?
Let me know.
Thanks.
Hi,
There is a setting that could have this effect in some cases, it depends on the caching configuration.
In the composer if you click on the header menu on desktop, is this option active? https://prnt.sc/G7wrnliJdZt7 If it is, please disable it and clear the cache.
Normally that should not cause a problem. But for example if the cache is not created separately for desktop and mobile, and the mobile version is cached first, the visitors will see the desktop header without the menu. It can be random, depending on which version is accessed first after the cache is cleared. What caching are you using for the website?
Let me know.
Thanks.
Hi,
If you added a valid page ID then it should open the page. I suggest clearing the cache as a first step, then trying again. But we could take a look as well, you can send us an email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide a link to the website and admin login. Then we will check as soon as possible.
Thanks.
Hi,
Are you sure that’s our Newsmag theme? Because ours didn’t have a 2.4.4 version. Maybe it refers to this theme https://patchstack.com/database/wordpress/theme/newsmag which appears to have been abandoned a few years ago at version 2.4.4 https://themes.trac.wordpress.org/log/newsmag/ Certainly looks that way.
Our latest theme version is 5.4.3.3 and we have patched every known vulnerability https://tagdiv.com/newsmag/
Thanks
Hi,
No problem, I removed the two websites now. You can assign the key to the remaining ones if that is what you want. Please check as well.
Thank you!
Hi,
There isn’t unfortunately. There is no relation between our composer and elementor. You must either build the page with elementor or with the composer. Our composer is old if we refer to when it was released, so is elementor. We introduced it in Newspaper 8, but that doesn’t mean we haven’t improved it a lot. Please check the theme demos and the cloud library https://cloud.tagdiv.com/#/load/All Everything you see there is built with the composer. It’s quite a capable builder. You could consider building the page with it if you want to use blocks and grids from the theme. Let us know if you need help with it.
Thank you!
Hi,
That’s correct, the theme itself is about 3 MB. Only old versions of the theme were larger, before we had to make these modifications https://tagdiv.com/updating-the-core-of-tagdiv-themes/
So the bulk of the theme is in the composer plugin, which is required. Please install the theme normally, and then there should be a prompt to install the composer. Then the theme can be activated with the license key and that’s it. You can install a theme demo and begin customizing it with the composer.
Please let us know if you have more questions.
Thank you!
Hi,
The theme displays the publication date. Scheduled posts when they are published should display the publication date. I made a quick test on my test install and it works correctly. But we will check on your website as well. Please send us an email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide a link to the website and admin login, and an example of the issue if possible.
Thank you!
Hi,
I see there is a problem actually clicking on the button. I believe its caused by the code of the form, it covers part of the button https://prnt.sc/MTEfGL6BvqgO Although its not visible and should not affect the button. I added a code here https://prnt.sc/kQ6Jqb02hYY_ for testing. Could you please test the button again? Let me know if it works now.
Thank you!
Hi,
You could use the cut/paste option from the right click menu. It’s easier to move elements with it in some cases.
Right click the icon of the row you want to move https://prnt.sc/8Xiq-JwYVxo1 and select cut https://prnt.sc/SEQu5J1BXlgU
Then scroll to the other row and right click its row icon and choose to paste before it https://prnt.sc/KFbO1PY_GqLn
Please try it.
Thank you!
Hi,
Indeed, the image is not displayed. I see only the text logo and tagline. If there is an image logo set as well, it should be displayed.
I will take a closer look at this, please send us an email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide admin login for the website. I will check as soon as possible.
Thank you!
