Hi,
Now it works properly, please check again
– https://www.screencast.com/t/8uUQGQ8W3w
– https://www.screencast.com/t/vpUtCBiBL
Must have been one of the plugins or something else you tried. If you deactivated them all at once, now enable the plugins one at a time and keep checking. You should be able to spot the one responsible.
Hi,
The theme panel font settings are general, the ones you set in the composer will replace the theme panel settings. So all the font settings in the theme panel are replaced by the more specific ones you make for each block, grid etc.
Thanks
Hi,
Unless you use the latest version of the theme and also theme plugins, the social counter will not work properly or at all. There were changes made by Facebook, Instagram and Twitter so older versions of the theme and counter will most likely not display any information in the counter.
Please update the theme and plugins, then check again

Theme changelog here – https://themeforest.net/item/newsmag-news-magazine-newspaper/9512331 (bottom of the page)
Thanks
You only need to enter the required values, not the whole ad code
– https://www.screencast.com/t/fM7Gh5X3
Be sure to select Google Adsense as the ad type. Then be sure to test on a mobile device or mobile emulator to actually see the ads displayed.
Looks good from what I can see, like this post for example
– https://www.screencast.com/t/pdZrYu0uVRQi
Maybe try more plugins if possible and see which one works best. Some examples
– https://www.wpblog.com/best-wordpress-rss-plugins/
I would recommend one but I really did not test such plugins at all.
Hi,
If you mean to translate the categories, that could only be done with multi-lingual or translation plugins. The theme cannot translate your categories. It can translate only theme strings, more about it here
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/newsmag-loading-translations/
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/newsmag-customize-a-translation/
Please correct me if I misunderstand, and also provide some more details for a better understanding.
Thanks
Hi,
For modules this is where the title is called
– https://www.screencast.com/t/dRYx0tG6h
Modify it like this – https://www.screencast.com/t/ILCebsZNj
Thanks
Hi,
Unless you have hidden it for all the devices which would have no point, you can view it by changing viewport
– https://www.screencast.com/t/ZzZ20Gxa
So for example if you have hidden it on desktop, switch to a different viewport and you should see it.
Thanks
Maybe you have some kind of ad blocker extension active. You could check that, I am also using the latest version of Chrome and I see the sidebar perfectly
– https://www.screencast.com/t/ofipp51v
Please try also this solution
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/javascript-error-td-composer-wont-load/
Also try deactivating all plugins as a quick test, leave only theme plugins active. Check if this has any effect.
If there is still a problem we could take a look, send us an email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide admin login and cPanel if possible. Include a link to this topic in the email.
Hi,
The shortcode can be entered in a text element. This is an example for a contact form with a shortcode
– https://www.screencast.com/t/SA0G6t7iXwY
Be sure to save the page and view it after placing the shortcode
– https://www.screencast.com/t/V8BQp2vC9F
– https://www.screencast.com/t/G2uLHapX
Thanks
Try as a test to use only paragraphs in the description, no lists or headings. Check if the style applies then.
Hi,
The number of posts in those pages is inherited for this WordPress setting
– https://www.screencast.com/t/C3moyScvUqk
Change it to the value you want.
Thanks
Hi,
So while viewing the same author page when logged in, the author posts are not displayed. That is unusual. Did you make any modifications to the theme files? or maybe added some code or functions added in the theme? If so temporarily remove them.
Also if possible deactivate all plugins, leave only theme plugins active as a quick test. Check if this has any effect.
The author pages have to look the same for all users, logged in or not. Le us know what you find.
Hi,
The theme panel post ads will be displayed for all the posts, there should be now way to show an ad for specific posts.
With the new features, that would be possible. Through the tagDiv Cloud library plugin you can import or create post templates. Ads fro these templates can be added in the composer directly
– https://www.screencast.com/t/Y2nZwnHTTAUA
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-cloud-library-plugin/
So you could create a post template or use a predefined post template in the Cloud library plugin, and enter the ads you want. Then apply that template specifically to the posts in which you want to display the ads. This could be a solution if you should consider it.
Thanks
Hi,
You can enter the ad with the composer for the new single templates. Edit the template and place ad boxes where you want them to appear. These templates do not have an actual single template file, they have the same functionality as pages. They can be edited with the composer.
Thanks
For me the sidebar displays both on desktop and on mobile Chrome browser
– https://www.screencast.com/t/qrhCAvuejAE
– https://www.screencast.com/t/o8R2yFFjqfgW
What exactly should I check and where?
Hi,
That would depend on how you made this formatting. If you made any modifications or additions to the theme files these will be lost after the update, since the old files will be replaced. Theme customization should be made either through the theme panel custom code section where applicable, or using a child theme
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-child-theme-support-tutorial/
A child theme is useful if you want to modify theme files, the guide mentions which files are supported and how to proceed.
Thanks
Hi,
None of those may work with AMP, also there could be inline style detected by AMP using such methods (inline styles are not permitted). Simply entering the link in the video will work with AMP as well. You could style the video after you enter it like this, if required.
For desktop maybe something like this
– https://www.screencast.com/t/vwmCcjMCipYe
For AMP like this – https://www.screencast.com/t/UWuXsarwl
Custom code may be entered in the AMP plugin like this
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/center-imagen-featured-in-amp/
This could be considered a solution, you could make some tests if you want to.
Thanks
Hi,
After you update the theme, the tagDiv composer should be updated automatically. But in some cases this automatic process seems to fail, in this case the composer will be remain deactivated. So when you update the theme please monitor this carefully and if needed update the composer manually.
The automatic update process for the composer is still being improved, it works in most cases but there are exceptions. Sorry for any inconvenience.
Thanks
Hi,
The default WordPress custom fields are in the post edit screen
– https://www.screencast.com/t/928mFY8O5Qo
Or maybe experiment with the Advanced custom fields plugin. Also maybe that section could be created by a plugin of some kind if this is required for you. I am not aware of such plugins however.
Hi,
That is not difficult to do. Simply edit the page with the composer and set any title you want for each block
– https://www.screencast.com/t/81KAOvJN8E
This is a block settings guide you can read
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/newsmag-block-settings-tutorial/
Let us know if you have more questions.
Thanks
Hi,
Use ad boxes, place them as widgets in the sidebar. There are 5 custom ads you can use in total. So you could supplement the sidebar ad with custom ads
– https://www.screencast.com/t/XA8tV11IACY
Thanks
Hi,
I found a similar topic online, there might be others
– https://forum.filezilla-project.org/viewtopic.php?t=39462
Also another possible fix – https://www.screencast.com/t/gnl9v6zwF
You could try what is mentioned there. Seems to be a matter of configuring Filezilla.
Thanks
