Hi,

@nexxus396647247
It works just fine, from what I can see most if not all of the issues are related to the ads. Note that AMP requires special ads
https://support.google.com/adsense/answer/7183212?hl=en

Then these ads have to be entered in the theme panel like so
https://www.screencast.com/t/n8D00gbPx9

The category description font properties can be styled in the composer, for the template you want
https://www.screencast.com/t/CeIXjt6Tdg
In the theme panel there are no settings for them, their style is predefined.

Hi,

They should save as templates, which you can use depending on your needs (posts, categories etc).
So you are using the add new button in the cloud library settings, and select a template
https://www.screencast.com/t/l7QQ9y6x1h7K
This should import the predefined template in the composer, where you can modify it or just save it as it is. All these templates should only be displayed here
https://www.screencast.com/t/JqKRebni9Ehk

What exactly is happening in your case? Try in your localhost without any other plugins active, use only theme plugins. Do not make any modifications to WordPress or the theme. If possible create a clean WordPress install on your localhost and install the theme there, with theme plugins. Let us know what you find.

Thanks

Hi,

It seems the ad code has in it an image of 1px by 1px, this is detected by the theme which sets a 100% width for it. Then that small image (basically a small dot) is stretched to fill the sidebar space.
I don’t know why the ad code has such an image in it, however a code like this would fix the ad in the sidebar
https://www.screencast.com/t/etXLHUBii
Enter it in Theme panel->Custom CSS code section

.td-a-rec-id-sidebar img {
width:auto;
}

Hi,

We will take a look, and continue this discussion by email. If we should require FTP we will request it there, maybe that will not be necessary.

That should work properly. Simply create a page with the same widgets you are using now, recent comments and menus
https://www.screencast.com/t/cIuv4avsfxYH
Set that as footer page – https://www.screencast.com/t/IlKDmH2IQ
Then using WPML set a new page ID (a page that contains what you want to display in that language)
https://www.screencast.com/t/n9vWPo4Plu3v
https://www.screencast.com/t/2tnXvxoQisMW
The page will then be switched. This should work for you as well, and be a solution to display different footer content by language.

Hi,

There is an author widget that will display any author you want, but it will not display the author’s latest posts. Only in the author page there will be a section that displays the author posts. Example of an author page
https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper/author/admin/
The author box will not show the latest posts of an author, it is not supposed to do that. If this is required for you, maybe you can find a plugin that can display such an element and make tests with it. Sorry for any inconvenience.

Thanks

Please continue the discussion by email if this is investigated further there.

Hi,

We reply from oldest to newest in this forum, this is fair for all users. Also if you keep replying in your own topic, the topic will be refreshed and our answered delayed. Please provide all the details in your first post in the topic, if possible.

Indeed, it seems the ajax filter is providing posts that do not belong there when used. I see you are using many plugins, the first thing to check would be plugins. This is not happening in a default theme install, it could be one of your plugins to blame.

I would suggest as a first step and quick test, to deactivate them all, leave only theme plugins active. Then clear all your caching if you have any and check the block functionality again. Let us know the results of that.

Thanks

Hi,

We could take a look as well. Send us an email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide admin access. Mention what were the actions you made step by step, and at what point did the error appear. If this is not happening on all pages, it must be specific those pages, be sure to mention which pages you are referring to.

Please include a link tot his topic in the email.
Thanks

Try creating a new post the default way, enter simple text in it, not content provided by plugins or other sources. Check if there is a problem, or the whole post is displayed as it should.

It is the same for me, the recent comments widget is still shown but it is translated, also the content changes by language selected.
I will add this on our list and our developer team will take a look as soon as possible and see what could be done. Seems some widgets will still be displayed despite the language chosen.
You could try as mentioned and set a footer page in the theme panel. Then with WPML change the page ID. So on a language it will use one page, and on other languages different pages. That would work.

Hi,

Super cache will serve the cached version of the website to non-logged users, try installing it and check while not logged in. Admins or logged users will not be served with cached content. We have a guide for it, the interface of the plugin changed but most of the settings are the same
https://forum.tagdiv.com/cache-plugin-install-and-configure/

Try to minify the CSS as well, minify it manually
https://cssminifier.com/
Or try as suggested here in this topic
https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/tip-how-to-easily-minify-your-css-without-breaking-your-site/

I see only one error in the website, related to some plugin
https://www.screencast.com/t/wEShUcm6qJrt
That might not cause slow loading speed however.

You should also consider using the latest version of theme theme when available, there are fixes and improvements with each update. Since 8.7.5 the theme is also GDPR compliant as well. This is an update guide

Hi,

If you mean the footer Instagram, for me it looks like this at the moment

Hi,

What info did you enter exactly, the error seems to mention characters outside of range. Maybe you used some unusual characters somewhere. Does it happen in all browsers? Test with Firefox as well.

Hi,

We appreciate the feedback, the cloud plugin is still being improved so all user reports are welcome. Regarding the attachment template what exactly is happening for you? Is it the same issue?

Simion C.
tagDiv Staff

The setting should be displayed, there would be no need for another way if there is a setting. Could be a browser cache issue, try a force refresh for the page (Ctrl+Shift+R). Or try with a different browser. Let us know what you find.

Hi,

It does not work because that is big grid 1, not big grid 3. The code for it would be like this
https://www.screencast.com/t/afnbjok1

.home .td_block_big_grid_1 .td-big-grid-post .entry-title a {
color: #fff;
}

Thanks

Hi,

That would happen if you edit the page after it has been set as shop page. You can create a page and place anything you want in it, with the composer. Then set it as shop page, once set it should not be attempted to edit it with the composer, there will be an error message.

Hi,

You can import one of the predefined author templates (and modify it if needed) or build your own author template
https://www.screencast.com/t/nsgUV2zKTxb5
If you decide to build your own you can use any of the composer elements. The team member element can be placed in author page templates, use it if you want to. Style and design it how you like. Please correct me if I misunderstand something.

Hi,

@opikon
I could inspect the website, provide a link to it and I will take a look. Instagram now works properly, every known issue with it has been fixed.

Simion C.

Hi,

There is only one inline ad spot provided by the theme. You could add the newsletter around the post, like before the post content or after it with the new post template features. But not inside the post content itself.
Or add it in the sidebar.

That would be possible if you manually insert it in the post content for the posts you want, or maybe find a plugin that can insert the newsletter in the post content and make tests with it.

Thanks

We are currently investigating this issue and what is causing it. A solution will be provided as soon as possible. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Hi,

So the composer keeps loading and the editor window is no opening and tehre are also problems in the theme panel. Check the theme system status panel and this guide
https://forum.tagdiv.com/requirements-for-newspaper/
Insufficient resources can cause such problems with the composer and also with the theme panel. Increase them if necessary. Check after doing this and see if everything works properly. Let us know.

Thanks
