Hi,

Indeed the theme panel font-size does not seem to be applying to big grid modules, I will add this on our list and it will be fixed as soon as possible. You could in the meantime set the font properties you want for the grids with the composer

The theme content width is fixed by default, it will not stretch automatically. Check the live theme demo
https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper/
The theme does not have such a feature. There are row options in the composer to stretch them to predefined widths or full widths
https://www.screencast.com/t/RlJHQWPbpFHU
Also there are full big grids, which are always full width
https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper/full-big-grid-1/
Header and footer can also be stretched as you mention
https://www.screencast.com/t/eDLhcqO6
You can also set backgrounds to each row or element (video, image, color), or a theme general color or image background.

Hi,

Indeed the thumbnail seem to be stuck in opacity 0 from what I can see. In some cases plugin conflicts or other configurations are causing the theme lazyload feature to not function properly. Try disabling this feature in the theme panel and check the results

I will add this on our list and the developer team will consider it, but I could not give you an estimate or say for sure when it will be looked over.

Hi,

The latest theme package contains patch 8.7-8.7.2 not from 8.6 theme version. If you wan to update by patch from version 8.6, you would need first to apply patch 8.6-8.7 and then the patch from the latest theme package. Or try the other update methods, WordPress or FTP.

Update the plugins as well and there should be no problem anymore. Let us know if you have issues after updating.

Thanks

The tagDiv AMP plugin does not display a menu at the moment, this is similar to the website of leading SEO solution Yoast SEO
https://yoast.com/social-media-optimization-with-yoast-seo/amp/
The logo is positioned on the left, like this
https://www.screencast.com/t/tP3j24m7KT1D
In the future the AMP plugin may receive more settings, the plugin is just at the beginning.

Hi,

The theme will not rotate ads, ad codes once entered in the theme ad sections will all be displayed at the same time. If you want to rotate ads, try the Adrotate plugin, this is highly recommended by theme users who want to have more advanced control over the ads. These would be some plugin guides if you want to give it a try
http://www.wpbeginner.com/plugins/how-to-manage-ads-in-wordpress-with-adrotate-plugin/

Thank you!

@boomathens This is how the ad is displayed for me on desktop
https://www.screencast.com/t/aOAnPsgIlm
The size seems to be the intended ad size
https://www.screencast.com/t/0B08kpppRv9
Below that header ad there are all the other ads based on device
https://www.screencast.com/t/Fdden4Befyg
So it seems you have entered the ad code once with no restriction, then entered it again based on device. Also the positioning in the page is broken. Implementing other ads then Adsense would not be difficult, if the ads are responsive you can serve the same one, or create cases as mentioned here

Hi,

Some modules do not display the date, other will display it. This could be done only through modifications to the module used by full grid 8 (module mx25) . This is similar topic if you would like to try

Indeed the demo characteristics and also classes used contain the word “erotic”. There is no option to change these elements, I believe this is already on our list of changes. The demo may be modified in the future.

If you think that this will influence SEO in a negative way, you could install a different demo, there are many to choose from

Plugins can influence AMP post content and provide errors, unless maybe the plugin mentions it supports AMP. The tagDiv AMP does not have a menu, this is similar to leading SEO solutions Yoast SEO website
https://yoast.com/social-media-optimization-with-yoast-seo/amp/
The logo is aligned to the left now on AMP, like this
https://www.screencast.com/t/tP3j24m7KT1D

So the problem is still happening even on a default WordPress theme, that would mean there is something wrong with your WordPress install (if you ruled out plugins). You might need to re-install WordPress if you cannot set a menu using a default theme either.

Also maybe you could contact the hosting provider and mention this issue, there might be error logs they can check.

There is a changelog which you can see either in the themeforest page or the changelog included in the theme package. There were improvements made mainly for the tagDiv composer and AMP plugin fixes.

The tagDiv AMP plugin should not provide any validation errors now. Note that this plugin is only at it’s beginning, in the future it will receive more features.

@Alastair Dixon Please deactivate and remove the composer, then install it again. If there is still a problem please send us an email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide admin login information and FTP access. We will take a look.

Glad it worked. If the general modal image setting is disabled, then the individual image settings will apply. So you can set the modal only for individual images only if needed.

Simion C.
tagDiv Staff

It does not apply to specific pages, it applies to all pages where a module displays the post. There is no other setting to control the category tag of the post on modules/blocks, except the primary category.

So the post will be represented by the category you set as primary, on all modules. This cannot be changed based on page dynamically.

Hi,

Try deactivating and deleting the tagDiv composer, then install it again from the latest theme package. Check if this solves the problem.

Check the theme system status as well
https://forum.tagdiv.com/system-status-parameters-guide/
Ask your hosting provider to increase the allocated resources if needed. If there is still a problem, please send us an email at contact@tagdiv.com and we will take a look. Include a link to this topic in the email.

Thanks

A setting like that is not available, but you could try something else. Rows can be hidden, there is an option for that. So you could for example create 2 rows, each with the layout you want. Hide one for mobile while displaying it on desktop and the other way around

Please re-download the theme package again and install it. There should be no more problems such as the ones you mention.

Hi,

Indeed that grid design is specific to the demo you mention. The same result should be when the demo is installed. Please re-download the theme package again and install it. There should be no more problems.

The post pagination will be displayed below the post content by default
https://www.screencast.com/t/dNdzRpzNZHn
The article bottom ad will push the pagination down, since it is part of the actual article content
https://www.screencast.com/t/phQA45rJhL17
The pagination already is set to appear below the post content, it cannot be moved higher in the structure
https://www.screencast.com/t/KUc3bxnI
If that plugin form is inserting itself in the post structure, there would be nothing to do from the theme perspective to control it’s position.

Thanks

Hi,

You can update normally, there will not be any problem
https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-the-theme-2/
By FTP would be the most recommended method. Remember as always to make a backup of the website before anything. Also update the theme plugins.

Note that in version 8 of the theme, the tagDiv composer was introduced. This composer will be activated by default when the theme is updated or installed. In order to use it all the pages have to be recreated with it. Or you can continue using Visual composer for the moment, and make the transition when you want, if you want. More about it here
https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-composer-tutorial/

Simply by being active the tagDiv composer could cause issues to pages built with Visual composer, containing Visual composer elements. So you could disable the tagDiv composer for the moment and there will be no problem.

Also a multi-purpose plugin was introduced, this adds many more elements and options to the tagDiv composer only
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C0ARTSimnUY&t=287s
Visual composer (now WPBakery Page Builder) is still provided in the theme package and updates are included along with the theme
https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-visual-composer-plugin/

Hi,

All the files that have been subject to changes after the latest update can be seen in the 8.7-8.7.2 changelog. There is no other changelog. All the modifications were made in those files and in the provided plugins (update all theme plugins).

There were improvements made to the AMP plugin as well, various issues were fixed. The plugin is now version 1.1.

Please let us know if you encounter anymore issues after updating to 8.7.2.

Thank you!

Hi,

That would mean the theme has not been installed or updated properly. These are some similar topics you can follow

Hi,

That text cannot be translated, the AMP plugin does not have a translation section. It could only be translated with modifications to the plugin files
https://www.screencast.com/t/pqaEwqwdRyb

For ad implementation please check this topic
https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/amp-page-does-not-support-any-ad/
We will extend the AMP documentation as soon as possible.

Thanks

Hi,

That is a big grid, displayed on top of the page you mention. There are many big grids and full big grids you can choose from, and place on pages
https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper/big-grid-1/
https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper/full-big-grid-1/
Cycle through the models to see all the grid types.

Thank you!
