ok. I solved it. It’s bug (and a dangerous one I must say).

Download a cloud template in Custom Post Type >> Apply it to Global settings >> Error happens in other cloud templates.

I made no recent changes to these pages/cloud templates.

I don’t even know since when they started throwing this error (since these are not regularly visited pages). The problem came to light when a few readers pointed it out today morning. [ that was embarrassing]

I looked at the other forum post you referred. That’s not very helpful.

I don’t see any revision post saved at my end.
Restoring backup (I don’t know which date I should pick) will be a big loss. We are a daily news website and have to redo all content again.

Does this error mean I have already lost the content? [ that will be super painful]

Is there a better way to solve this?

This is exactly what I am doing. But the content that is coming in the block is latest articles despite applying the filter.

I understand the cloud template will show the dummy content. But the actual pages (after applying template to global) is also showing “latest articles” on all templates.

Here are 2 example URLs of 2 different custom taxonomies ::

You will note that they are showing the same set of articles.

Is it possible to have a small release to fix the Cloud Library thing?

It’s really difficult if I want to create a page out of cloud template. Not sure where to look for the library.

[Else, guide me step by step on how I can access the cloud pages (eg. home) and download them as a ‘page’ without associating them with the actual template]

I understand what you are saying. But doesn’t quite solve the problem.

If I have an article about “violin” and another one about “mango”. There isn’t a way by which I can show other articles related to “musical instruments” and “fruits” respectively on their pages. [Musical Instruments and Fruits are taxonomies]

Hope you get what I am trying to achieve.

Can you consider this for your future releases? Clubbing “custom taxonomy” in the same dropdown of categories and tags of related articles will be very helpful.

1. It’s not a plugin conflict. I deactivated ALL plugins and checked. The problem still persists.

2. The system status is also all green.

I tried doing a fresh installation in a test server with a fresh wordpress installation with no plugins at all (just to check). The problem persisted even then.

1. I am using the latest version. To be extra careful, I downloaded it again today from themeforest and uploaded it in my wordpress panel.

2. Server settings etc. : I had been running my site with Newspaper for last few weeks. No problem. So, no error there. Still, after receiving your message, I cross checked the system status and everything looks good.

3. Error in Theme Panel: There is no error. It just is not working i.e. it opens up the first page with default tab “HEADER” but nothing else is clickable. Cannot change tab, cannot even choose any header under the already open header tab. Even the “Save settings” is not clickable.

NOTE: Repeating, the problem occurred when we tried creating a child theme yesterday and made some code modifications. We made no modifications in the main theme. Post that, we deleted the child theme and reinstalled the main theme. The problem was not solved. If you want, we can upload the child theme again for you to see.

This is exactly the problem. The tagDiv Composer somehow is not selecting the social media icons (or for that matter any of the menu elements ). It is only allowing me edit the elements on the page.
Am I doing anything wrong??
