Hi Bogdan, I think part (maybe all) of the problem is that when I look at the text/HTML code of any post in WordPress, the video link is not included in the code, anywhere when using a video vs. standard post.

That would make sense that Apple can’t render the video because it is pulling this same content from the editor.

So my question is why is the youtube url that we enter in the featured video / post section not visible in the HTML/text view within the editor?

This has happened to me a number of times as well. I just regenerated thumbs for another reason. I had to load a photo as the featured image for the video to display. Otherwise, it was displaying a blank placeholder. For some reason the video thumb is not consistently produced.

Hi Bogdan, I’m trying to follow your instruction and after moving the custom css from the beauty blog demo css, I’m still not able to replicate the sidebar. Are there additional instructions somewhere on how to accomplish this? I prefer the divider between the widgets and the author info. Thanks.

I had to go back into the post itself and remove it from the link copied from YouTube into the featured video space within the post. It’s working now. 🙂

Hi, that code that you’ve shown doesn’t even appear that way in the td_video_support file. It looks like this:

So how can I remove that first rel=0 that you’re showing in your screenshot?

Hi, my FB counter is also off. I have the latest theme (6.7.1). I downloaded the files from my themeforest account and unzipped the social counter it says version 3.1 not 4.11. Where are the files from version 4.11 if not in the template files within themeforest?

Hi, WP cache said 0 files but I hit delete anyway to clear and cleared browser cache. Still seeing recommended videos although they are more relevant than before they won’t go away. Thanks.

I checked out the screencast and I do not have a file named td_videosupport.php. Which file should I look in with my theme to make this change to the code? Thanks.

Hello, I’m having a similar issue. I followed all the steps but am not finding the corresponding id in any of the line items returned in the text file. When I try to target the css and js using the code provided the codes aren’t found but Page insights shows 15 render blocking scripts.

Not sure what to do now.
