I believe there is a misunderstanding here. The post content width is fixed regardless of post template. This cannot be changed there is no setting for that. If a sidebar is used the post content width is 696px, if a sidebar is not used the post content will occupy the whole theme width.

Hi, I have bought & activates the ‘NewsPapaper’ theme on GadgetSagar.com. I have installed the gadget demo theme & have activated the theme. I can see my site as per the theme when I am logged on to GadgetSagar.com. But, if log out, I dont see any theme related stuff at http://www.gadgetsagar.com/

The theme will style the paragraph containing the category descriptions, by default. At the moment there are no specific options for this, there might be in future updates.
You could style them differently with CSS for example like this, or how you like them to be

Hi,
on a Voice Report demo page, there is a section on a front page titled “Past Stories”.
I have recreated this layout but now I need to link each button from this section to the corresponding archive page – so for example – when I click on a “Last Week” button it should bring me to the archive page displaying posts from the last week.
Analogously when it comes to the posts from yesterday, last month and last year.
Is there an option to sort posts like this on a given page that I’m missing or would it be required to modify themes code?

Hi,
There are size requirements for most header styles, but header styles 9, 10 and 11 do not have a requirement, you can set any size you want as logo. An example would be this demo that uses header style 10 and a big logo

is it possible to prevent posts with some very specific tag from being displayed inside a “More Articles Box”, which appears after you scroll to the bottom of the article?
For example, I’d like to not suggest articles tagged as “archived”.
I would be very grateful for any tips or guidance on how to achieve this.

Then the situations mentioned above will apply, either theme accent color or block individual settings.
You could install the demo and then simply replace the image used by it with your own. Or you could set the image without installing the demo.
Because you are using multiple block header styles this will require a code for each block template used, a general one will not work. For example the crafts demo uses block header template 6 and a general code for all the title backgrounds, it is easier that way.

I’m writing to see if anyone has experienced this and can provide some tips we could use to troubleshoot.
At some point, the mobile menu and mobile search button stopped working, when our site is viewed on a phone. (Viewing the page in responsive/mobile view on a desktop Chrome/Firefox works fine.)
The odd thing is, the menu/search button works on most single article pages, but not on pages which include blocks listing video stories. (We found this by deleting blocks one by one, until we found that blocks with video seem to ‘break’ the link to the mobile menu.)
Example can be found on https://www.caymancompass.com, where the search or menu buttons do not respond to touch. This means that when the home page is viewed on a phone (android or iPhone), the buttons for menu and search do nothing.
We are using the regular theme, not the mobile theme plugin.
We have other sites using this theme, without these problems. We cannot find any obvious differences though.
Our live site is still at Newspaper 7.3, due to some custom code required by the boss, which needs to be rebuilt to work with themes newer than 7.5. Any hints (that don’t involve full upgrade to 8.7+) would be appreciated.
We tried: turning off Autoptimize and WP SuperCache, clearing cache in Cloudflare, upgrading to the latest visual composer, downgrading visual composer, turning off some plugins we added, removing and replacing blocks on home page, commenting out CSS, taking out Javascript and/or CSS from Autoptimize.
It could be something simple we missed. Any hints would be appreciated.

That cannot be done, the mega-menu will display posts from the categories sorted by latest posts. So for example a post will be first as long as it is the latest post in the categories.

It is provided in the theme package. If you do not have the latest plugin version, deactivate and remove the current plugin, then download the theme package again and install the AMP plugin from there

@Earned Media From what I can see the Facebook seems to be configured properly, try clearing the cache and see if this refreshes the displayed data.

For all with Facebook problems clear all caching, including browser cache. If possible provide links to your websites so we can take a look. The Facebook like page has to be public with no restrictions in order for the counter to work properly.

There are no font settings for the AMP post pages at the moment. If you want to make changes to the post content paragraph size for example, you will have to make them in the AMP stylesheet directly
