Am upgradat la 8.7 (am reinstalat plugin-urile tdcomposer si social counter, singurele care le folosesc) fiindca nu mai aparea homepage – dupa reinstalare a reaparut homepage.

Probleme folosire site pentru utilizatorii autentificati:
– pentru admin meniul de la themepanel functioneaza rapid.
– pentru admin / editor / contributor – dureaza intre minim 30 secinde si 45 secunde sa accesezi orice meniu (toate articolele, adauga articol, media, adauga pagina, toate paginile, etc – orice meniu WordPress).
Testat in Firefox si Chrome (in Chrome in 50% din situatii primesti white screen la accesare orice meniu, dupa refresh si 45 secunde incarca totusi pagina, neacceptabil la ce server detinem si la cum ne functioneza alte website-uri).

Uneori (sporadic) in admin area in consola sunt urmatoarele erori:

Theme panel system status – all recommended (toate verzi)
Doar plugin-uri recomandate
Doar tdcomposer si social counter instalate dintre plugin-urile voastre
Cache curatat / dezactivat (aceiasi problema).

Ce am facut:
Am rezolvat mixed content prin inlocuire globala in database http cu https (timp greu de incarcare persista si dupa inlocuire).
Am optimizat baza de date (lucrez cu WordPress de peste 8 ani)
Am incercat browserele Firefox si Chrome – timp reincarcare foarte mare persista
Am dezactivat si sters orice alt plugin – timp reincarcare foarte mare persista
Am optimizat baza de date – timp reincarcare foarte mare persista
Am testat pe mai mult de 2 PC-uri super tari / 2+ PROVIDERI DE INTERNET DIFERITI – aceiasi problema pt utilizatorii autentificati.
Am schimbat temporar tema Newpaper cu alta tema (Divi si default teme WP) – toate meniurile functioneaza foarte rapid (0.01 secunde) – deci clar Newspaper este problema!

Credeti-ma ca nu se poate lucra asa, ne-au sunat editorii ca nu mai functineaza, le-am explicat ca incarca mai greu site-ul, unii spun ca au white screen (oamenii sunt redactori nu experti pe partea de IT, ei nu inteleg ca merge foarte greu).
Va rog gasiti un patch sau explicati-mi cum sa rezolv timpul greoi de incarcare orice meniu WordPress – de cand upgrade la 8.7!

Sincer: In productie nu sunt acceptate asemenea erori, Jira – sau ce CRM folositi voi pt. sprint-uri ( programare, testing & debugging) + containerele virtuale (multi linux VPS servers) unde testati compatibilitatile (apache, nginx, php-fpm, fastcgi, etc) trebuia sa nu ajungeti in asemenea cazuri – la productie nu se accepta asa ceva!
La clientul meu i-a placut mult tema voastra (prezentata de mine), daca pe viitor mai intampin asemenea probleme ii customizez o alta tema sa arate exact ca si a voastra ca si design si atunci voi pierdeti potentiali clienti.
Retineti: clientii se pricep sa scrie, design, hosting lucreaza cei ce se pricep. Dar cei ce se pricep nu au timp de asemenea erori netestate.
Momentan o sa lucrez in continuare pe tema voastra, sper pe viitor sa testati mai mult, intainte de update!
O zi buna & astept patch!

1. I would have a views counter and a like counter instead of a replies counter in blocks (articles preview) is it possible?
2. Is it possible to have an “enter space” (carriage return) in blocks (article preview) instead of all in line article test. For example:

instead of default: xxxxx.kjdlòfnjsakdòfjaskdòfjaskdl
3. When I insert a youtube link in module: “text with title”, it doesn’t appear as text. I would have the same in blocks instead of the text of the link. Is it possible?

In articles I tried to use youtube link like: <iframe width=”560″ height=”315″ src=”https://www.youtube.com/embed/3BXDsVD6O10?rel=0&showinfo=0&#8243; frameborder=”0″ allow=”autoplay; encrypted-media” allowfullscreen></iframe>, as featured video link without informations or suggestions. But It didn’t work. How can I do?
5. Blocks (article preview) show a defined amount of the text of the article. Can I change this value customizing how many text should a single block show?
6. About images media. When I use featured images in articles and I click on it, images become bigger, and that’s what I want, but when I click on image inserted as media or in module “single image” it didn’t happen. Can you help me to have the same effect: click and enlarge image?
7. Is it possible to define in someway which article must have advertising and which is not?

I’ve installed the amp pluging, and testing all the post with https://search.google.com/test/amp
There is a error with the review part, because It’s not allow to insert “style” in documents of AMP. I have to change to “style amp-custom” label. Can we do by own? Or we have to wait until a pluging update?

Hi… Thanks for the update, it’s great.

But, I found some bugs that make my blog looks bad, especially for AMP, so… I decide to deactivate AMP plugin.

Here is the problem:

1. AMP: Article image doesn’t show up, it disappeared. (but image on related article show up)
2. AMP: How to disable footer?
3. AMP: Top left menu disappeared
4. AMP: featured image also not show up
5. AMP: Logo size broken

Hi, I know that google likes AMP, but the whole point of the tagdiv mobile theme seems the same for me, and easier.
The only downside to the mobile theme is the layout, I can’t change it.
What is better to use in your opinion?
What is the plan with td mobile theme? Future plan?

An Important question is about the “/amp/” part. What happens if my website’s post is linked on another website like this:
http://www.mysite.com/mypost
…and then I add AMP…, which changes the original link to http://www.mysite.com/mypost/amp/
What is going to happen when someone clicks on the link from another website using his phone?

So you know the dropdowns in the demos like for example the “Pleasures” drop-down (https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper_erotic/td-post-are-you-using-sex-toys-just-like-everybody-else/)

Why when my own categories are correct, the article with the correct category does not appear under the corresponding drop-down, that links to the right category URL? How do these dropdowns even work?

We are using Video News template of Newspaper 8.5 theme, video on the post page are showing up at the bottom instead of the black panel at the top as shows in the actual demo of Video News template.

Is it a featured or header image issue where the theme is handling it differently ? Please visit the sites and let us know if we should do any config changes or CSS code updates.
