Hello,

You have malware on the website. Please update the theme to the latest version 12.6.5.
This malware infects not only theme files but also WordPress files or other plugin files. This malware was not detected only in our theme but also in many other themes and plugins https://www.bleepingcomputer.com/news/security/massive-balada-injector-campaign-attacking-wordpress-sites-since-2017 / -> https://cybernews.com/security/wordpress-malware-epidemic-balada-injector/ -> https://www.geoedge.com/balda-injectors-2-0-evading-detection-gaining-persistence /
You could consider reinstalling the WordPress version, reinstalling the theme, and checking for this plugin wp-zexit.php. It might be wise to inspect via FTP if it doesn’t appear in the WordPress -> Plugins. Additionally, using Wordfence to scan the website and remove unknown users would be prudent.

Thank you!

Hello,

Please disable the mobile theme and AMP plugins. I don’t recommend to using amp, because it is deprecated -> https://developer.bigcommerce.com/docs/storefront/wordpress/platform-integration/enabling-amp
In order to disable the option “Exit mobile version”, you need to disable this setting: https://i.imgur.com/LxpDtB2.png
Using our theme, you can choose from 3 mobile versions
-> mobile responsive => https://www.screencast.com/t/oJ2ShOp47
-> mobile theme plugin => https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/
-> mobile page => https://tagdiv.com/newspaper-10-3-7-update-brings-customizable-and-fast-mobile-pages/ The option that you need to use.
Suppose you created the mobile pages with tagDiv Composer. In that case, when you install the Mobile Theme plugin, your pages will be overwritten by the plugin (the mobile theme comes with its templates for page, post, category, etc, so your current templates from the desktop theme will get converted to the mobile theme layout, the page content is made without builders in mobile editor => https://www.screencast.com/t/xbgZG8kH also, the options that are provided to edit the mobile theme version are limited (this keeps the things simple)).
This is a video about Responsive Newspaper Theme, AMP & Mobile Theme, Mobile Pages & Templates -> https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SpGkOnJeNZY.
So, the mobile responsive is what you see when that you select the viewport on phone => https://www.screencast.com/t/matV17hH, so some settings may apply for each viewport(where is the border blue), and others are not(where the border is black).
The mobile page has the mobile templates from Cloud Library => https://www.screencast.com/t/YCcZ8rL8
The Mobile responsive version of the theme and the mobile page editor can be edit with tagDiv Composer, the mobile theme plugin cannot.
For example, you can have the mobile theme plugin activated and use the mobile page/mobile responsive version for the homepage/pages, but for the categories pages/404 page, you can’t use the mobile page/mobile responsive version if you have the mobile theme plugin activated.
So, if you want to design the pages with tagDiv Composer, you can use the mobile page or mobile responsive version.
Also, please check this topic https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/amp-pages-not-working-well-with-this-theme/

Hello

I’ve been using your theme for a few years, it’s a really good theme, but there’s a problem with AMP, which redirects the site visited with a cell phone to advertising sites. And now, it’s when I visit my site with a computer that there are redirections. When I change my theme, the redirects stop immediately. Is there a solution? Here’s my site: https://23h59.com/.
Thank you for your support.

Hello! I selected the AMP (Use Mobile Theme for) option in the Theme panel. When I load my website on mobile, it displays the home page correctly. However, when I open a post or blog, it switches to the mobile version and shows a button at the bottom saying ‘Exit mobile version.’ I don’t want this mobile version because it disrupts all of my website settings. My website has been working properly until now, but I’ve been facing this issue for the past day. The problem is shown in the video below.

hello bettina !
what i am trying to understand here is how the mobile plugin works!
Is it necessary to activate the mobile and or the amp plugin whenever a new page is to be created?[mobilepage]

I have created a few pages and have assigned mobile pages to each of them.
In the near future I will need more pages.
When I want to create a new page that needs to be assigned a mobile page do I need the mobile tag div activated? [and also the amp plugin]. both of them are now deactivated after mobile page and assignment creation.

Also let me know how the url thing for each mobile page works?

I can now see that the mobile page is loaded on the mobile and the web page on the web, however the url on the mobile is the same as that of the web version.

Also the mobile page can be loaded seperately using its own unique url, it loads there too (on the seperate url for example https://newspatron.com-home-mobile).

Would this affect SEO as duplicate content?
Also, I have noticed that the mobile page doesn’t have an indexing option[or no index option], but since I am using an auto url submission plug-in, it automatically is submitting urls for newly created mobile pages.

One more clarification is required about the templates such as the category, and post templates.

As such, there are no templates in the cloud specifically for the mobile.
I guess the same process (copying template content to mobile content) must be followed right?

Hello @gipmed!

You can add the modal popup element from the tagdiv composer and drag and drop it where you want on the page. For example, place it near your menu or copy-paste it after any element on the page. It should be a green zone in order to be able to drop it.
Read more about it here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/modal-popup/

Thank you!

I have changed the way my posts are put on my site http://www.in2town.co.uk and i have seen a huge drop in traffic and google impressions and the articles cannot be found in google.

Since i changed my posts the article titles cannot be found in google. here is an example

https://www.in2town.co.uk/gainsborough-news/shop-in-gainsborough-sold-illegal-vapes/

this post title is Shop In Gainsborough Sold Illegal Vapes

normally the title would easily be found, even when i put the site title in front of the post title it is not found. please see the image in google https://ibb.co/3B4V21n

since changing over to cloud template for my post every single article and i am talking about tens of hundreds of them can no longer be found in google. they all have the same problem as the image.

can you please advise on this as i have seen my google impressions drop from 12,000 to less than 100 and also all the keyword ranking for my site which were all under the top ten are not even in the top 200.

I would be grateful for your advice.

Hello. I understand what you are saying. However please elaborately explain “how to assign it to the desktop page”, both are different page right?
The above mentioned is a separate issue and method.

Here is another usage case.
By now i have resoted to option 3. Mobile theme plugin:
While in the meantime explain how the following can be achieved.
I have noticed after the installation of amp plugin and the tag div plugin that the site is much better in terms of performance and also all of the subdomains are able to serve the amp version.
you can check the same below
https://fr.newspatron.com/
https://fr.newspatron.com/?amp=1
One error here is that the flags and language selector have disappeared from the amp version however the same is there on the non-amp version.
i have tried both the transitional and the standard versions and i am currently on standard version of amp.

Can you suggest a way to address this?

Hello @roop555!

You can use a license key for one single product(website). For the other domains/sub-domains, please consider buying another license key. There are two places for a license: one can be used for staging, and the other is for the live version of your product/sub-domain/website. If you want to move the theme to another website or change domain/migrate, you’ll need to reset the license key from that website: https://www.screencast.com/t/Zt12bpyX and remove the theme (delete), in this way the license will be available for the new website and you can use the theme without any problems.
If you use it on subdomains that are a part of your product or wp multisite, you could use the same key.
Check this thread for example: https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/sub-domains-installation/

Thank you!

Hello again.
I installed the “AMP Standard” version and was able to see the performance improvement for https://newspatron.com
however i noticed the shortcode not being implemented. The shortcode that i have implemented on the home page and page as well as templates where required.

The normal version of the website is implementing the shortcode [the translation option] while the AMP version is not.

Is there a hack or a simple solution to this?
For example implementing the short code as html code or inserting by way of tagdiv composer?

I implemented the shortcode via the text and title option in the tagdiv composer.

The sample urls
https://newspatron.com/
https://newspatron.com/?amp=1
and the posts
https://newspatron.com/android-ai/
https://newspatron.com/android-ai/?amp=1
Please let me know soon.

Thanks for your understanding.

I am setting up a new WordPress multi-site website. The multi site setup is for sub-directory.
Example:
Mywebsite.com (the main site)
Mywebsite.com/site1 (the sub site)
Mywebsite.com/site2 (the sub site)
Mywebsite.com/site3 (the sub site)
Mywebsite.com/site4 (the sub site)
Mywebsite.com/site5 (the sub site)

I have noticed that every time I created a new sub-site, I have to activate the theme again for each sub-site. However, the activation has no problem. It activates the theme for main domain. I am planning to Create a catalog of demos for my clients as portfolio (I am freelancing). So I will create a new sub-site for each demo.

My question is:
1. Is there any limit to activate the same licence key for the same domain? If yes, how many times?
2. Will it be a problem, If I keep activating that licence key for all sub-sites (150+ demos)?

Thanks in advance!

Hello Bettina
Thanks for replying. I have gone through various mobile optimazations. there is one small doubt remaining. It is about ” https://tagdiv.com/newspaper-10-3-7-update-brings-customizable-and-fast-mobile-pages”

Having created mobile pages in whichever way, i have noticed that the urls are different for such pages.
I tried using the mobile and I want to understand how the mobile visitors would directly be served to the mobile page. For example i tried visiting the site https://newspatron.com on my mobile browser, however it never visited https://newspatron.com/home-mobile which was the mobile page.

Can you please throw some light on this, whether there is anything i am missing out?

Hello

I just bought it
Newspaper – News & WooCommerce WordPress Theme
I have two questions:

1.
I’m trying to install the td-composer.zip add-on, but I’m getting the error: “The link you followed has expired.
Please try again.”

It installs the add-on after the add-on from the plugins directory that I downloaded after purchase. Unless there is another installation manual, if so, what?

2. I want to install it on a test server first and create a template. Once I create it, I would like to transfer it to the appropriate server with the domain. Will I then have problems with installation and licensing on the production server?

Hello Ameet!

The error appears only if you are logged in as an admin. So, you should edit this page with the TagDiv Composer and add an image to every element in order for it to be displayed on your frontend.
We have 3 options for mobile versions that you can use:

1. Responsive version: A responsive version of your website looks similar to the desktop version. TagDiv Composer is used to edit the page.Click on the mobile viewport: https://www.screencast.com/t/XDQJedlggSB. There, you can see your mobile version and edit or adjust the elements to look better.

2. Mobile pages: https://tagdiv.com/newspaper-10-3-7-update-brings-customizable-and-fast-mobile-pages

3. Mobile theme plugin: The Mobile Theme is a performance-optimized theme included in the main Newspaper theme that only loads on mobile devices. It comes with its own templates and designs for pages, posts, categories, etc., so your current templates from the desktop theme will get converted to the mobile theme layout. Please see https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/ and https://forum.tagdiv.com/mobile-theme-introduction/ for more information.

A full explanation is here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SpGkOnJeNZY
If you need to use mobile version 1 or 2, then you need to uninstall the Mobile Theme plugin and AMP.

Any other plugins that are not official were not tested with our theme, and we do not recommend them.

Thank you for understanding!

Hello i thought it easier for you to visit the contact us page on the site
https://newspatron.com
This page
https://newspatron.com/contact-us/

However here is a screenshot of the error

image error inline single image

One more major issue that needs to be supported by tag div.
I am testing another site for mobile version readiness.
There at the site[https://staging-9728-newspatron.wpcomstaging.com/amp/], i have activated the tag div plugin for mobile theme. Alongwith the tag div mobile plugin, I have activated an amp plugin but not the official one. Instead i have activated the plugin called [Accelerated Mobile Pages Description AMP for WP – Accelerated Mobile Pages for WordPress].
This plugin has loads of customizations and features.
Its not just a plugins but its an ecosystem, with loads of other addons and features. feel free to check the same.
Not only customizations, but several youtubers have validated the same.

After installing it on a test site, however in the theme panel, I could not choose[mobile + amp] feature, since the official plugin is not installed.
Can this at all be fixed?

Everything else otherwise looks fine and also the scores have improved.

Let me know if its possible to use the other plugin?
[to use this feature, first you need to install and activate the Official AMP plugin for WordPress]

The temporary site for testing url is at

Hi,

Our theme uses the WordPress search function, and we made a few changes only for the live search. By default, those will display all posts and pages that contain the word/words you are looking for in the title or post content, but if those words are not in the content, then will not display content about that tag, for example.

Thank you!
