Hello,

I’ve been trying to import some of the demos without the sample content – but it doesn’t work! The switch to “include content” does nothing. The sample content is always installed no matter which setting is chosen.

I think something is wrong!

Apologies if this has been asked, but the search function on this site appears to be broken.

We have noticed a lot of request that appear to being generated on every page view, it’s consuming server resources and we aren’t really sure the purpose.

Are you able to advise?

Is there anyway to custom the dates language. for example changes the weeks name to another language.
Where should I do the name replacement? The php file or theme files?

This is the list of all my available categories and their subcategories.

Once I set a category and a subcatgory for an article, on edit, all other subcategories are moved to the bottom of the page making the entire category list hard to follow especially for new authors. Example here.

Just wondering is there a way to make the blog post URL link to show up in a different colour? At the moment it is showing up in editing mode, but once I published it it became standard black with no highlight. (Link still work)

Note: I disabled the “Mobile theme” plugin because I would rather the mobile version of the website be based on responsive web design.

Issues with responsive web on mobile (Android, but presumably iOS as well)

1. On the front page Big Grids, the offset posts feature works on desktop browsers but does not work on mobile browsers. All Big Grids are set to sort by -Latest-.

2. I’m using custom css for the module title fonts on Big Grid Full 1 & 2 because the option to change it via module on Theme Fonts isn’t implemented yet.

Whenever I make an update, I clear the cache on Google Chrome on my Android phone. I also empty the cache via WordPress, and I also have disabled the WP Super Cache plugin just to triple check.

I want all the pages in the website to look like indexes of categories and blog posts.

I have post views enabled. So each time someone views a post it increased the view count.

I want to add more counts to the posts for example a random amount of views to start with.
Can anyone tell me how to do this.

I see on other newspaper themes they have this built in.

I just installed and activated the newspaper theme via wordpress admin panel on hostgator wordpress host.

I’m not sure whats going on, looks like the theme is properly installed but the homepage loads the regular default hostgator page?

Homepage: healthmeetscience.com – as you can see this loads the default theme on homepage?

But for example, http://healthmeetscience.com/2017/04/04/health-star-ratings-kellogg-reveals-the-cereal/ one of the demo pages is loading so I don’t understand what’s going on? I followed the install instructions exactly.

I’ve included the tabs section on my homepage (http://pocketmanchester.pocketmcr.co.uk) but I’m not sure what Custom CSS I need to add to the Theme Panel to make it so that all of the tabs look the same as the ‘Rugby League’ and ‘Other Sport’ tabs?

For example I’d like the ‘hover’ and ‘clicked’ states of the titles to be the same yellow as the last 2 tabs (not multicoloured like the first 5) and the category to have a slightly transparent black background (again, like the last 2 tabs) which changes to yellow when hovered over.
