If you want to do this, you should edit the theme core file and add the do_shortcode method for this. For example, I have noticed that you are using the single post template style 1. Hello Kowak,

In order to add new social sharing buttons in the top or bottom sharing on posts, you will have to edit the theme code a bit. The theme has no settings to add any extra button so it will have to be added through the code. Here are a few examples:

Hi,

You can use the tagdiv blocks on post pages, they should work properly. The problem is that if you use Visual Composer on post, some post features may not work(for example modal image, articles ads..). The Visual Composer was initially designed as a pagebuilder(default wordpres pages) and it is treated the same by us and we recommend to us it on pages, but you can use/try it also on posts and see how it goes.

Please check your sidebars in the widgets area and see if there are elements present inside them. WordPress will strip the sidebars of elements if special characters or language specific characters are used in the sidebars. When you create your sidebar, please only use standard letters without symbols such as !@#$%^&amp;*()_}{L{“:>< Let us know how it goes.

I suggest to check your custom codes (for example ad code or any custom code added in a text widget) and make sure that you don’t have a html error. Any unclosed html tag could create similar issues. Also check it without any plugins active except Visual Composer, clear all you caches and see how it goes.

You use module 16 to display your articles on OBITUARIES category. Module 16 uses the wordpress thumbnail and not one generated by the theme and you can control it’s size from wordpress settings – http://screencast.com/t/oBz9lqNf – http://screencast.com/t/oIIOIkkyloNk and regenerate your thumbnails(you can do some test only for a single image).
Or you can try to change the module used on the specific category and try for example module 19 maybe it respects more the aspect ratio of your images – http://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper/category/module-19-layout/

Please note that theme theme full width is 1164px(the content is 1068px) and all the theme elements were designed for it and it is the same on all demos.

Like I said above, most probably you use a predefined footer template and to modify those blocks/widgets you will need to alter the code.
A more simple solution is to change the footer template from Theme Panel > Footer, for example you could use footer style 5 – http://screencast.com/t/sJeknDyds2Ld and add your own widgets from Widgets section – http://screencast.com/t/qdJZ04VqrltE and configure them like you wish/need.
