Thanks for the reply. I can confirm that the menu items: MBO / HBO & WO, work fine on the mobile version. However, the menu items: Actueel / Team, are not working properly. These are the mega menu with post images. I cant click on those items on the mobile version. So the menu items is visible but does not create a dropdown with at least the titles of the posts. The desktop version is working fine though. Looking forward to your reply. Best, Gabo

After the upgrade from 6 to 7 version the photo zoom feature stopped working. On placing the cursor on the image (selected as zoom in the settings) I was able to see the zoom image. but now its not working .

But the image is not getting zoomed. Please fix or suggest some tips to get the zoom back.

Can you help with determining what sizes are efficient to use with your theme?
It is a battle between being large enough to look good, but small enough to load fast.
Can you give a good Height X Width ratio to start with, and maybe some example pictures?

Post template style 6 isn’t working in IE. Unless you scroll down the header image and post is squeezed to the left. Just letting you know so it can be fixed for a future update.
Anyone know a CSS work around in the meantime?

I have just updated to 3.1 and on the homepage close to the article box what is like a comment box with 0 as number has appeared next to all of the blox. This also create a duplicate URL with the termination #respond which is bad for SEO. I have tried to deactivate comments from theme setup yet this is still showing on homepage. How can I remove those?

1. By default,in the search result page, side bar displays advertisement and latest articles. I do not want Ads to be displayed in this page’s side bar. I want to customize this. In the Theme Panel->Template settings-> Search Template, there is an option to create a new side bar. Once I give a name and click the “Create” button. It shows the name in the drop down. But how do I add elements to the newly created sidebar? For example, how do I add a “Simple image” element to the side bar?
2. In the “ARTICLE DISPLAY VIEW” I prefer to use M16, but I DO NOT want the response count to be displayed with each result. Is it also possible to display results with M16 style but without the image for each post as there may not be images added to posts?
When I disable “FEATURED IMAGE PLACEHOLDER” in Post Settings, even though none of the posts results have a featured image and image place holder not displayed, the post titles are shifted to the right leaving empty space to the left of the post titles.

A week ago I received email that saying there is a new version of VC 4.11.2 & Social Counter 4.1 but mine is VC 4.9 & SC is 3.1 and I have Newspaper 7 and I updated it by using Envanto Market Plugin. Also my child theme is still on v6 and I don’t know how to update it to v7. My website is zenji255.com

Unfortunately we have not tested any jetpack galleries so I cannot say for sure how they should work, but jetpack is known to compress images and reduce quality dramatically especially photon. Try to disable jetpack and create a standard gallery and see if the images are still low res without jetpack.

After upgrading WordPress v4.5.3 & Newspaper 7.2 I’m facing issue with the Visual Composer..
What happen is, when I want to Add Element on the layout “Add Element” dialogue appears and selection of the any element didn’t work. It’s stays on the “Add Element” dialogue.
Please help me to fix this ASAP!

If you want to have a higher height for your image, please notice that you will have to increase the height for that container. If your image will have a high height than this container, the image will be cut off. As example, if you want to increase this, you can use the code below and place it in Theme panel->Custom CSS area.

If is not what you mean, please provide more details about what you want to achieve, provide some useful screenshots so I can understand it better what you want.

Update – this seems to only happen if I install a demo with content. If I choose the without content option then it works.

Favicon Upload

To add a favicon to your website go to Theme Panel > Header and open the Logo & Favicon section, select the favicon file you would like to use and click Upload. Your Favicon must be a .png file.
Recommended size for Favicon image is 16px x 16px.
After finishing the upload click the Save Setting button.

Hi, I got a Google Adsense non-compliance notification. IT reads:
“Publishers may not implement Google ads in a manner that disguises the ads in any way. Last week I added page level ads but that surely can’t be the problem as they appear exactly as Google want them to? I never had this problem before until now.
