Hi tagDiv,

I want to switch from Classic Blog to Classic Blog Pro to improve Google PageSpeed performance. I created a staging area to make sure things look right, but I feel like whenever I change something in the theme, it doesn’t show up.

Staging Area Site

For example, I edited the sidebar to include specific boxes, but the preview still shows the preinstalled ones (latest comments, latest posts, etc.) and my main staging page doesn’t have the sidebar at all even though I changed it in the settings.

The default theme cannot be edited. The example element title name is not being changed

We are using tagDiv with user name sanjeev. Our Website is https://rashtrajyoti.in.

In our website, there’s an error. I have chosen the particular author template (Author Template – Magazine PRO) but still when I click to author name, it shows the template completely blank. For example go to the website homepage, click on any post – example first one of Tausif. After the page opens click the author name just below the article heading. The next page will be completely blank instead of showing the selected template structure. Screenshot for the same is – https://d.pr/i/Jh7Prh. The following question keeps me up at night and I can’t solve it for weeks.

Google Search Console show there is a problem in the CLS part, the Cumulative Layout Shift is too slow, 0.5 sec.

What shall I change to improve the CLS number or solve this problem?

How to create simple events for example:
1. create a post/event
2. set datetime when this event happens
3. show chronological upcoming events in BLOCKS
4. when the event is over do not show it anymore

That’s all, how to create something like this with latest tagdiv Newspaper? Do I need some event plugin or maybe ACF or maybe some programming and creating some self made functions/plugin?

Problem 1:

Problem 2:
After debugging for multiple hours, I’ve found that my child theme is broken. I’ve developed the child theme properly & it is working fine in my local environment. But after deploying on the server it is showing the following message:

Hi,
I have recently updated to the latest version of the Newspaper template and now the header font sizes are incorrect. The settings in the theme panel seems to be ignored. I have cleared the cache multiple times and there is no custom CSS for the headers.

Hello,

So after a year away from AMP and tagDiv’s mobile theme, I’ve renabled it to work on AMP pages only. Problem is that now when i try to publish or save on articles on the site i get ‘update failed’ Looking at console its JSON throwing an error 502.

I have also discovered the AMP plugin of today gives the error: Error: The response is not a valid JSON response. everytime i press Save changes.

If i disable this plugin then the site works fine but obv no AMP. Is there a work around for this? or a version of AMP that your plugin/theme is tested till?
