Hello,
I have a problem with the mobile logo.
Desktop logo works without problems.

How can I guarantee that mobile logo is identical on any device (any OS, any mobile brand, etc.) and in any page variant (non-amp-template, non-mobile-template, mobile-template, amp-template)?

The logo looks good (sharp) on my smartphone (Pixel 3a) in any variant.
However, it is different in size.
On the new iPhone, the logo is different sizes and when I test on the desktop in the development environment, the logo is totally blurry. Test it yourself >> m o d u s x . d e (without spaces)

How can I make sure the logo is high resolution and the same size EVERYWHERE?

Hi,

A could/PRO template can be easily edited with our TagDiv Composer plugin: https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-composer-tutorial/ ; For example, an element from your header has a row and a column and by selecting the element’s row or column you will have extra settings to can change the position in your header, color, size, etc. Also if you select the element and not the row of the element, you will have also another settings for editing the element from inside the block. All these are presented in our tutorial provided above. Everybody can adjust the elements with drag and drop how they need, sometimes you need to adjust also the sizes to can fit your element in place.
If you set -200px on the left column, your element will be moved 200px to the left direction. If you set +200px on the left column, the element will move 200px to the right: https://www.screencast.com/t/iwT3ochM
My suggestion is to play with margins. Margin will move the element entirely. Padding will only set a gap between: https://www.screencast.com/t/kLG8VTblvA; https://www.screencast.com/t/aL7eKZngwz
If you follow the steps which are presented in this tutorial here: https://tagdiv.com/how-to-increase-page-loading-speed/ you’ll be able to increase the speed of your website.
Also, to increase the page speed you can check these similar topics for more solutions:

Mobile – Displays content using the Mobile Theme on small screen devices (no AMP)
Mobile+Amp – Displays content using the Mobile Theme on both mobiles and AMP
AMP – Uses the responsive version of the theme on small screen devices and Mobile Theme only on AMP.
How to set the footer for Mobile Theme? If you access Newspaper -> Theme panel -> Mobile theme then you will find some setting which you can change in Mobile Theme version because The Mobile Theme is a performance optimized theme included in the Newspaper main theme and it loads only for mobile devices. It comes with its own templates for page, post, category, etc so your current templates from the desktop theme will get converted to the mobile theme layout. For more details, please take a look here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/ ; So, in the end we can see that you can not change the Mobile Theme so much, you can upload a logo but you can not modify it to adjust in place with TagDiv Composer plugin how you can adjust in other cloud templates. If you want to create mobile pages, then you don’t need Mobile Theme installed and you need to assign the templates. Also, if you want a responsive version of your desktop into devices, then you need to deactivate Mobile Theme and the responsive version will display automatically.
Some words from your website for example: Follow us, search you can change it from Theme panel -> Translations, or when you edit the element with TagDiv Composer and there can be a setting with a field and you can change the title.
If you will don’t find a setting to change a color, then the last option is to insert a custom CSS in Theme panel -> Custom code which can change your design from your pages.
I hope it helps!
If I passed a question or an issue you didn’t solve yet, then please provide more details about it to understand what you need to edit exactly and help you efficiently.
If you can’t manage to deal with some settings or issues you can also contact us via email and provide wp-admin and Cpanel access so we can investigate the issue. Let us know and we will gladly assist you.

Thank you for your understanding!

Hello,

I’ve turned off the Mobile Theme and left AMP on. All of my pages are displaying correctly, except for our About page. There seems to be some overlay there that is causing problems.

https://www.commandeleven.com/about-commandeleven/

Please help me understand where this problem is coming from. Otherwise, all of our pages and articles are loading correctly.

Thanks!

Hello,

Because there is no option in the Theme Panel, you can make changes in the files, but the changes will be lost after you make an update.
To make changes you can find the function in this path ” wp-content/plugins/td-composer/legacy/common/wp_booster/td_module_single_base.php ” => https://www.screencast.com/t/olnN0qsJ you need to multiply by a number, my example is by 4.

Hope this helps you!

Thank you!

before activate amp my website score is average ( 1.7 second ) score

Sorry but I didn’t get my questions answered.
Mobile theme and AMP are not working as it should yet.

Also I have checked every “tutorial” on the website and they are all limited in information. Tutorials should guide its users not just point features out and set warnings. We’re not all developers =/

Hi,
Now I understand what you mean, the image from footer seems to be somehow optimized by some plugins and this extra parameter https://i.imgur.com/fs6tZil.png that is added is making the image blur (that image seems to be use for amp version), if that extra parameter is removed the image is ok https://i.imgur.com/E5pZ4yJ.png
Please make a test only with tagDiv plugins enable and see if the problem persists.
Let me know the results!

Hi,
Yes, you can try other amp plugins, those can also work with our theme without problems.
Thank you!

Hi,
it seems not possible to set a custom padding to the header of a post block. Confirm?
For example the padding between the header and the post title / image of the first post.

Thank you

– if it’s custom coded, can you please send me the custom code by which I can do this?

– Can you please forward this type of ad insert feature in list view & in grid view to your developer team so that they can release it with the next Newspaper theme update. This feature is really significant all users & the ad revenue generating businesses will love it for sure 🙂 ???

Hello,

We’ve recently completed developing our new website with Newspaper. When we were doing the final testing for the site, we found that they mobile theme and pages were not the same as the desktop ones.

We’ve activated AMP and Mobile Theme, but we still have the same problem.

Is there an easy way to create the mobile pages without having to recreate them in the TD Composer?

Thank you!

Hello !

Indeed at the moment the Social Counter for Instagram is under revision by our development team. At the moment the only solution is to use the fixed counter option as you can see here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fa7GenCHcBU&t=70s

Thank you for your understanding !

Updated:

I’ve reactivated the mobile theme and AMP to speed my page load. I’ve set it to Mobile and AMP. I’ve also then tried AMP only but I see no changes when looking through my phone (cleared cache).

When choose Mobile and AMP vs only AMP what will be the difference from mobile view?
Also, how can I see these changes on the mobile (not as preview but browsing through the phone)? currently doesn’t show changes

The tutorials and documentation do not explain things fully or step by step. https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/
This doesn’t tell me how to set it up properly, what Mobile vs Mobile Amp vs AMP actually mean and which to choose. It doesn’t tell me how to preview the AMP version for changes. It doesn’t tell me anything (this is a recurring theme throughout every issue with these documentations they need a MAJOR update).

Thank you!

Hi,
Unfortunately, the views from amp are not count by our theme at this moment. This is because in amp version, the visitor is not actually on your website and is seen the page/post in google.
Thank you!

Hello !

I am not sure I fully understand what you are looking to achieve, can you provide an example ?

If this needs to be shown inside a post than this cannot be done using tagDiv Composer. With Composer you can only edit post template, not post Content.

Thank you !

Hello,

This error happens due to a lot of possible reasons. Check the useful guide from here -> https://www.hostinger.com/tutorials/fix-sorry-you-are-not-allowed-to-access-this-page-wordpress#gref
Theme activation -> https://tagdiv.com/how-to-activate-the-newspaper-theme/
You can manually activate the Newspaper theme from here: https://www.screencast.com/t/EL4k48Lq

If this is still not working go in Newspaper> System status and replace the url from: -> https://i.imgur.com/WlRnszw.png
admin.php?page=td_system_status
in
admin.php?page=td_system_status&reset_registration=1
And try after that to activate the theme.

If there is still a problem, you can send us an email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide admin login (to can login in WordPress admin zone) and the licence. We will take a look to the problem and we’ll fix it. Include a link to this topic in the email.

Let me know the results!

Thank you!

I am using your Newspaper Theme.

Google Console has detected and advised me to fix the following two Mobile Usability issues:

(i) Text too small to read; &

(ii) Clickable elements too close together

Please advise how I can fix these two issues.

Thanks & Regards….. Renu Bakshi

I’m having a problem with the sticky header malfunctioning on mobile vertical-view on a mobile site.

Initially it was working fine. I have the sticky header below a hero image (Lifestyle Pro header template).

Then, I made a change to the horizontal view and when I went back to the vertical view, the sticky header was broken. Instead of remaining at the top, when scrolling it would disappear right when it hit the top of the screen, also, at the moment that it vanishes, the elements just below the sticky header flicker & flash.

If I turn off the sticky, everything is fine, except I want the header sticky!

I turned off all other plugins and turned off the Godaddy CDN (no firewall) trying to resolve it, but none of that made any difference.

I then figured maybe there was a glitch with the header itself, so I created a whole new header from scratch (again starting from the Lifestyle Pro mobile template). It was again fine on mobile vertical view after my changes. Then I went and made my changes to mobile horizontal view and, when I finished those, I went back to vertical view and the sticky header malfunction had returned!

I do have the sticky position set to “top” and it’s the row that I’m setting as sticky. I’ve tried it on multiple devices, using both safari and chrome and it does the same thing everywhere — but the problem is only on mobile-vertical view (desktop, etc is fine). I tried changing the z-index for the row to 90 thinking maybe it was in the background, but that didn’t make any difference.

Pls Help!

Hello! i need an info about social counter with AMP
As you can see this article has 458 views https://ibb.co/BZYzL51
For testing i made 3 views from 3 differents phone but counter was always block on 458 instead to display 461 views
Then i move with desktop and counter UP to 459 https://ibb.co/YPLKJKm
and then also views in mobile UP to 459 https://ibb.co/N25kt45
Seems that Desktop Views are counted but not from AMP.
Waiting feedback about this
Thanks
