Did you test your AMP pages work; and also test them with the AMP tools online for compliance?
AMP won’t support certain sites due to various failures or guidelines/requirements outlined on the AMP support site.
Tested on: May 14, 2019 at 3:13 PM
Page cannot be reached
This could be because the page is unavailable or blocked by robots.txt
Thanks for the reply… Umm, so seems having made some adjustments to the standard theme thought the settings it might be difficult to match the main website to the mobile version with your theme.
Not sure I know how or even if it is possible to use inspector browser functionality with a mobile. Shame you could not give an example of the coding that might be required.
I give the problem some thought to see if there is another way to get around this problem.
Hi:
I upgraded to the latest version a week ago and just notice that when I click on a category not all articles are display. An example https://f.martinandrade.ca/category/issues/2019-spring-edition/ only shows two articles but it should show 9 articles. It was working fine before but not anymore. Can someone please help?
THanks
Hi, can anyone help me with my site radmag.nl?
Since a week ago I’m having a lot of problems with the indexation of my site. Especially AMP pages are giving me a hard time. Google Search Console doesn’t tell me anything, except: “Request for indexation denied”. I didn’t change anything in the SEO department myself.
I’m really in the dark here. Any help is much appreciated.
Hello,
I want please to have my next and back buttons to contain text not just the arrow facing the direction
this is an example page:

I already have the buttons setup I just want them to contain text thank you
Hello,
I ask for help with the mobile version of my website.
When I do not use the AMP plugin the responsive version no longer fits for mobile or small screens as this prints
Mobile: https://imgur.com/guuHEk6
iPad: https://imgur.com/GLVnZYq
When I use the configuration-independent AMP plugin –
and create a mobile version, the AMP site hides the desktop version of the site in any browser
I want my site to bring the user independent desktop and mobile experiences if I’m going to use responsive or AMP.
Someone help me?
Hi,
I created a page with a Finnish glossary where the posts are set to be displayed in alphabetical order: https://rondine.fi/vocabolario-minimo-di-finlandese/
It works alright, except that in Finnish (and all other Nordic languages) vowels like ÄÅÖ are listed after the letter “Z” and not next to the similar vowels. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Finnish_orthography
For example in the page I created the post called “Ämpäri” should be the last on the page and not the first.
It is not a huge issue, but is there a fix/patch for this?
Thanks!
I am currently using v9.5 and have not yet upgraded due to the AMP changes.
If I upgrade to 9.7.2 and find any problems, can I obtain 9.5 and downgrade, or can you not remove 9.7.2 and reinstall 9.5?
Thanks
Michael
Hi,
Maybe this is happening after the 9.7 update changes – https://tagdiv.com/updating-the-core-of-tagdiv-themes/ if it used to work before.
So the problem is not happening when checking with just the mobile theme, but it is happening when you access the AMP and mobile theme? Also does it happen if you test while having only theme plugins, AMP, and the thrive plugin active?
I found some cases online where it is caused by either a caching plugin, low wp-memory (we recommend 256M), or old PHP versions (we recommend 7, 7.1 or 7.2). You could check those as well.
I can’t provide a definite solution for such a problem because we haven’t tried or tested the plugin you mention, up to this point.
Thanks
There seems to be a conflict with the tagDiv Mobile plugin (Version 1.2) which I have got installed and ThriveLeads (lead generation plugin).
When I launch the AMP version of my site, I’m getting the following error “Fatal error: Unknown: Cannot use output buffering in output buffering display handlers in Unknown on line 0” and my website is totally blank. It works fine for the non AMP version of my posts.
I have a ThriveLeads email footer opt-in widget which is located at the bottom of my posts for both AMP and non-AMP posts.
I’ve contacted ThriveLeads and they’ve looked into the matter and they seem to think the issue is with the tagDiv Mobile plugin. When they deactivate the plugin, the page loads fine using AMP.
This has always worked in the past and it seems to have stopped working with the tagDiv Mobile plugin (Version 1.2) (please note: I have the latest version of the Newspaper installed Version 9.7.2).
I wonder if you can advise on this please?
Thank you
Hello !
Once entered in the theme panel the ads will be displayed at all times. Can’t disable them for specific posts for example.
If you require more advanced control over the ads you could try a plugin for managing the ads. Some theme users with similar desires use the Adrotate plugin. Some information about it here
– http://www.wpbeginner.com/plugins/how-to-manage-ads-in-wordpress-with-adrotate-plugin/
– https://ajdg.solutions/manuals/adrotate-manuals/
I believe this plugin has settings like you mention, based on user feedback also works with the theme. So it would be worth a try.
Thank you !
Hi @bilalbzd,
The mobile version is look like that because you have the mobile theme plugin that provide you a better speed then responsive version of theme, but in order to achieve that speed you’ll need to create a new content for pages because in the most of cases those were made with builders ( tagDiv Composer, WPBakery ) and you need to use only the mobile editor ( you need to set the content for pages in mobile editor and this content will be display on mobile theme)
-> https://www.screencast.com/t/ebUIzt4se
Mobile Theme: Automatic Optimization for Mobile with Newspaper Theme -> https://tagdiv.com/mobile-theme-automatic-optimization-for-mobile-newspaper-theme/
Also for the 3 blocks, you’ll need to have set same feature posts (that have set feature category) -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/featured-posts-2/ -> https://www.screencast.com/t/QsJ6ppY4
If you want the responsive version and amp you should use this opinion -> https://www.screencast.com/t/jZct5ueBqOrb but if you have amp activate on pages you’ll need to create in Mobile editor a content for AMP version of page.
If you do not have the featured category, you’ll need to add some posts in feature category -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/featured-posts-2/ if you do not have this category you can create it, just make sure that you set the category name to be
Featured

Hi,
If you re-downloaded the theme and updated again, now deactivate the mobile theme plugin and delete it. Install it again from the theme plugins panel and activate it
– http://prntscr.com/no923m
Then AMP should work correctly. Let us know.
Thanks
Hi,
For amp version you can try this custom css
-> https://www.screencast.com/t/AAKVZ0xTbPm
You need to set the code in Theme panel>Mobile theme>Custom code> Css
-> https://www.screencast.com/t/jRnAmBMWPbr
Thank you!
Hi,
I see it like this currently in the homepage – http://prntscr.com/no8rvh
– http://prntscr.com/no8ryq – http://prntscr.com/no8s39
What you are describing could be caused by caching, non-logged in visitors usually get served with a cached version of the website. However most caching plugins should automatically clear the cache when new content is published (should be a setting for this).
For example the WP super cache we recommend has a setting for it
– http://prntscr.com/no8szg
Here is a guide if you want to give it a try – https://tagdiv.com/wp-super-cache-plugin-install-and-configure/
Also there could be a server side cache, you could ask the hosting provider about it’s existence, and if it has any similar settings.
Thanks
Hi,
There are two types of mega-menu, with sub-categories and without
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/mega-menu/
For example a mega-menu with sub-categories is the Fashion menu in the demo
– http://prntscr.com/no8k9c
While the Gadgets menu is without sub-categories – http://prntscr.com/no8kje
Also here is a topic with a discussion about creating a mega-menu, might be helpful
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/hopefully-last-bit-of-help-slight-issue-with-the-mega-menu/
Please let me know if you have more questions or need help.
Thanks
Thanks Vlad S for your guide.
After clean up & do something, ( PHP version, increase memory …etc) and the Newspaper system status look more nice ( green light for all requirement)
the site seem get better result
https://gtmetrix.com/reports/xembao.net/f462pjuq
But the issue still faced is the post load slow after click the link.
I still don’t know the reason why. is there any other way / solution ?
Br,
Khoa
When I go to Newspaper > Theme panel > Post Settings (Layout Settings) and enable “Show Related Article,” the related articles do not appear below posts on desktop for some reason. They appear fine on the mobile version of the theme, however.
I would like for Related Articles to appear on Desktop.
An example post: https://personacentral.com/persona-5-original-art-book-english/
@simchris, this is NOT a “business” or “agency” theme, this theme is called “Newspaper” for a reason and AMP is a MUST for news sites

For “most” blogs there are other themes.
The default official AMP plugin from Automattic works great with the theme and has since day one; so that is obviously a good fallback for mission critical sites to work with AMP.
Of course no AMP plugin will fix issues within content that are pre-existing and not AMP-compatible (like inline HTML in some cases, inject javascript or other code where not supposed to be; rogue plugins, et al.).
Some sites moving away from AMP, as Google now trying to make it a “publishing platform” to monetize for showing content as an application, vs traditional web formats. For many folks, simply having mobile friendly optimized responsive site may be better choice unless very high traffic with ads non-blocked via AMP when cached on Google cloud.
For “most” bogs, AMP has no benefit for the user or site owner.
My two cents anyway; having been using it since it was in BETA and following Google’s latest zig zags with trying to get people to adopt this format for their entire sites, which is impractical and perhaps stupid to buy into a Google concept that might be abandoned at some point while traditional responsive pages will work forever.
Hi.
I’ve encountered a bizarre issue related to the ads feature of Newsmag.
The website in question isprivatøkonomi.net. I recently set up Google Adsense, before removing all the snippets.
However, the ads keep displaying on my site whenever I’m logged into the WP admin area.
I’ve attempted the following solutions:
1. Cleared all cache.
2. Double checked that all snippets have been removed from the ads section.
3. Went through styles.css to look for any redundant ad-code.
Would you have any clue what’s causing this? I have a feeling there’s a simple solution to it, but I just can’t seem to figure it out..See two attached photos with examples.
Thank you for your help.

Hello
I’m using the newspaper theme but I can’t modify & edit the home page
please, can u help me?
Everything worked fine until a few days ago when only admin views are tracked: https://destepti.ro/eu-pentru-cine-votez-sensul-si-originea-expresiei
Despite the setup (theme, plugins etc.) is identical on familist.ro, bodygeek.ro, dreamgeek.ro & destepti.ro, only the latter has this issue.
Any idea why this happens?
I’m using Advanced Ads with the Newspaper theme. When using the feature to automatically insert the ad in the post content, the ad is inserted twice. I belive this is caused by the way custom post templates are implemented as the same issue is also present with other plugins like Ad Inserter. I have already contacted the developer regarding this issue: https://wordpress.org/support/topic/adsense-ad-showing-twice/#post-11526499. Furthermore you can find more details here: https://wpadvancedads.com/manual/ad-debug-mode/.
You can see an example here: https://kreuzfahrthai.de/magazin/internet-phoenix/
Thanks
