Hello,
I thought this plugin was included with the price of the theme? I am mistaken in thinking that the updates should be too? If they’re not included, that’s something that should really be communicated on the sales page of your theme.
Please advise how to proceed… I’d like to keep the Visual Composer plugin up to date without an additional fee.

Hi,
First of all please deactivate all plugins except those that the theme requires and check again, to make sure that if this issue has nothing to do with some plugin conflict.
Please make sure you that you updated the VC composer plugin also and install it like this: https://forum.tagdiv.com/update-the-visual-composer-plugin-wpbakery/
Also please make sure if you use CDN (cloudflare) or similar please clear the cache.
If nothing helps, please make a backup of your current theme installation and re-updated the theme like this: https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-the-theme/

Please try to update following this steps: https://forum.tagdiv.com/update-the-visual-composer-plugin-wpbakery/ and install it from the plugin folder that came with the theme files.
Also note that you have to use the latest theme version (4.2.2) with the WPBakery Visual Composer 4.3.3 version.

It’s in the “all files” download from your theme forest account for the newspaper theme; when you uncompress the newspaper-tf folder, you will see sub-folder “plugins.” đ
also see, if you wish to use the WP panel to upload, assuming proper file/folder permissions

I normally uncompress locally on my hard drive, then FTP up manually to replace old content.

Hello,
I just noticed this morning that my Home Page Template is missing. It’s still running on my site http://www.tribyoot.org, but the page is missing from the Admin and so I cannot access it using WP Bakery or otherwise.
Do you have any idea why this might happen and how I can recover it? I have tried disabling all plugins, cleared caches and restarted the site. It’s running on the front end, so it’s there somewhere, just no longer named Home Page.

I’m trying to improve the performance of my site (http://admitto.nl), which is now at 49% for mobile and 65% for desktop with Pagespeed). This is however the max I’ve been able to reach. Do you have any more tips or tricks?

I know these are a lot of plugins, but I don’t think they influence the performance that bad. Pagespeed is mainly complaining about compressing CSS/JS. Any ideas here?

Using Themeforest on my Mac locally while developping (site not online yet). Everything works fine, except the visual composer does not work (a main reason for my purchase of this theme), the button actually doesn’t appear as it should. Without this button, I can not do anything to compose easily my homepage. I am now struggling and waisting too much time without this functionality. Reading previous posts, I’ve tried de/reinstall WPBakery, etc, but nothing works. Strange because my configuration is relativelly standard (Safari, last version of WP and Themeforest…). I activated the VC function (both in my profile and with API key).
Could you please help urgently ?

Note you can buy copy of VC to get direct support for issues with Visual Composer.
There is a bug with plugin. Using Embedded Posts from Facebook get error when saving.

I saw this behaviour once, not with this slider or theme, but with another slider plugin on a different theme. I switched themes, not plugins, and it worked again, oddly enough…
Only one suggestion occurs to a layman like me: Ensure that when you update the theme, you also install the version of WPBakery Visual Composer included with it. If it’s not that, I’m not sure what it is.

Try to use the Theme with only the Visual Composer plugin and deactivate all other plugins and see if stars working.

P.S. If you’re a little obsessive (like me) and are willing to pay the $28 to get the full version and make the update counter go away, it might not be worth it. Someone else just posted about trying this and found that a newer version messed with the big slider, on that particular implementation anyway: https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/wpbakery-version-ussue/ So it’s probably best to wait for TD to update with the theme.
Just ignore it. You get a bundled version of the plugin with the theme; you can’t update VC except when the theme is updated.

Like I said here we usually include the VC plugin at it’s latest version when we update the theme.
Unfortunately we hadn’t made any test with the VC latest version an we didn’t included it in the last update.
You can use this version of VC if you want and try to find a solution yourself or wait until the next update and we will test the plugin and fix this.

Unfortunately we haven’t made any tests with the VC at 4.3.2 version.
Usually when updating the theme we updated the plugin also but this time we haven’t updated the plugin as we didn’t managed to test it right.

Please install the plugin from theme’s files previous version. We will update the VC in the next update and fix this issue.

I’ve got a strange issue with the visual composer plugin.
I’ve puchached the Newspaper 4 theme and received it together with WPBakery Visual Composer v4.2.3
The Big slider thats in Visual Composer works perfect with v4.2.3
After that, i purchased the latest version of WPBakery Visual Composer (v4.3.2). When i deactivate v4.2.3 and acivated v4.3.2 the big slider is messed up. The tree blocks that used to be on the right of the big block, are nog below it.
