That would be unusual. If the plugins are active the buttons should be there, both WPBakery and the tagDiv composer. Please check if the theme requirements are met as a first step

I can’t say what will happen exactly, at the moment. This may change in the next theme update.
The reason for doing it was because users who wanted to use for example single images in WPBakery, couldn’t because the tagDiv composer affected the single images functionality.
So now when WPBakery is active and users wish to use it, some elements will not be part of the composer, to prevent conflicts. If a different solution is found, this may change however.

I see it, seems to be a delay before the CSS applies, with a visible effect on the page loading. Do you use any dedicated minification plugins, or caching plugins that have settings for minification? If you do, try to temporarily deactivate/disable them to see if this has any effect.
Also do you plan to use WPBakery? You could disable this plugin and use the tagDiv composer. Because there could be various conflicts between the two when they are both active.

I have really tried for over a week to make this footer where I have my logo showcase. I could resally use some direction as every time I use tag div composer it never looks right. I wish the regular bakery composer could do all of this stuff, it is much more user friendly.
Should allow us the option by maintaining full compatibility but I need step by step or really Calin to login for me. 🙂

In order to hide the footer on some pages/post please check if you have set a page as footer or a default template; if it is a footer page you need to use this custom css -> https://www.screencast.com/t/4S4FpA14CG

It is possible to be a problem because you have the tagDiv Composer and WPBakery activate, please deactivate the WPBakery plugin, clear all cache and try again.

Glad you fixed the issues ultimately. Some elements including the single image and empty space will not be available in the composer as long as WPBakery is active. This was done to fix issues with those elements.
So if you use WPBakery the tagDiv composer being active won’t affect those elements as it happened previously, as they will be excluded from it.

After the last update, if both the tagDiv composer and WPBakery are active at the same time, some elements will not be available in the tagDiv composer. This was made to prevent issues with the respective elements. The single image is one of them. What builder are you using for the website?
A solution is to either deactivate WPBakery and then the elements will be available in the tagDiv composer, or use WPBakery where the elements will be available. Let me know if you have more questions.

Unfortunately we have found an issue that if you are using WP-Bakery it causes conflict and crashes elements. You will have to disable it in order to restore your widgets. Our developers are working on fixing this issue as soon as possible.

Final update: I fixed everything.
The solution:
– In order to correct the theme breaking from updating the template, I had to rollback, and then re-attempt the update which allowed me to activate and update TD composer
– For some reason, this update moved the mailchimp form that was embedded in the footer over to the sidebar..hmmm…I had to re-embed it and now it works again
– WP Bakery appears to be conflicting with TD Composer, I had to disable it in order to correct the above screenshot you see. Some TD composer elements were missing due to the WP Bakery conflict such as Single Image and empty spacer. Not sure why.
From yesterday update, I lost the single image element in the tagDiv Composer.
When I delete the wp bakery plugin, then I can find all elements in the tagdiv composer.
Why? What is the problem?
I don’t even have WPBakery installed – never have done for this theme.
Try updating WPBakery. I had a similar issue and it fixed it for me.

2. I have seen some user using add-ons for WPBakery, these may work or not however. We haven’t made any tests with add-ons for the plugin, so I can’t say for sure.
Maybe they provide a refund in case there are problems, or maybe there is a testing version or limited period of time before actually purchasing.

When I try adding a text element to my page with tagDiv Composer, I first create a row and then add a “Column text” element into that row, which works fine.
But when I then want to change the actual text inside of that text element, I click “Edit content” button, and a popup appears which loads infinitely.
Effectively, I cannot use the text editor :/

– I tried both in Chrome and Firefox – same issue.
– The error in Dev Tools console says “ReferenceError: jQuery is not defined”
– I am using Newsmag 4.9 with both tagDiv Composer and WPBakery Page Builder plugins active (updated them all to the latest version that comes bundled with the theme update via Envato market)
– I am testing on a localhost on Windows
Dear tagDiv team,
I am trying to re-create one of my web pages with the use of tagDiv Composer (the page was previously created with WPBakery Page Builder, and it’s layout is broken now pretty badly).
On that page I need some rows to be different for mobile and desktop versions. One solution I can think of is to simply create both versions of the rows and only show one of the rows for mobile and the other one for desktop.
With WPBakery Page Builder I could do that by clicking on a row (column), then Responsive settings, and then ticking the ‘Hide’ checkbox next to the corresponding platforms, like this:
How can I achieve the same functionality with tagDiv Composer?
The only alternative solution I can think of is to use custom CSS with @media queries.

We’re still finding issues with WP Bakery after the new update. The Parallax doesn’t work under Row Settings, no image will display at all. Under the Design Options tab in Row Settings, choosing cover for a background image doesn’t work. The image will display, but it will not cover the entire row area. Certain columns settings don’t work, such as 7/12. I’ll post more issues as I find them. I can also give you access to my testing website for troubleshooting if you’d like. Would it be possible to add an option that turns off the Tag builder for those of us who use WP Bakery so there aren’t compatibility issues?

Replacing that file from the composer with the new one, should work. I have tested it again, it works for me on my end. This fix will be included in the coming theme update, which should be released in the following days.
You could try it again, delete the old file, and upload the one, in the tagDiv composer plugin – http://prntscr.com/nuaa5c
Sorry for this inconvenience, it will be fixed permanently in the next update.
At the moment, from what I know, there are no plans to exclude the WPBakery from the theme package. If that should happen at some point in the future, there will be notices ahead of time.
We tried to fix as many conflicts between the composers, most of them were fixed. Pages can be built with either one, but there could be problems in some cases. For example if a page built with WPBakery containing WPBakery specific elements, is edited with the tagDiv composer. The page could be damaged then, and the WPBakery elements removed (if this should happen you could try and return to a previous page revision).
