Before trying the manual method, you can try a few things to get the demo install to work (the manual method is not a walk in the park. It’s easier if you get it to work automatically)
First thing you need to check is if you meet the newspaper system requirements:

Then you need to increase your system status parameters:

These 2 will be required not only for the demos, they are requirements for the theme’s functionality.
Then, if the demo still won’t load, you need to check if you have the correct permissions on your upload folder. If not you can use the c-panel to change permissions (set them to 777) or if you do not have access to the cpanel, please contact your hosting provider. Another thing you can check with your host is to unlock the demo if there is some setting which blocks access to it.
If all of these will not do it, please send us an email at contact@tagdiv.com and request the manual instalation and we will provide the XML file for the specific demo you want to import.

Unfortunately, the theme does not have any such an option that allows you to change the category URL in the href attribute for post category that is displayed in td_block_1, sorry! Please keep in mind that this is automatically done by our theme and if you want to change the structure of it, you should alter the code from the theme core files where the code is created, like td_block_1.php, td_module_4.php and, td_module_6.php if you are using the Block 1. Please notice that it is not a simple task and if you are not aware of the steps which are needed to take in this regard, please consider hiring a freelancer/developer to help you because we cannot provide custom work at the moment, sorry!

Also, please notice that each block uses a specific thumb which crops the each featured image from your posts.
Please take a look over the below explanation and try to understand a bit how it works the thumbs in the theme. Please check here ->>
Our theme uses the system of cropping from center to top. The theme uses thumbs to reduce the page size and speed up page loading time. From each image uploaded are generated thumbs for each thumb size utilized by the theme. When a post it’s displayed on the page in a block, the featured image shown is not the one which you uploaded in the media file, it’s a thumb cropped from the original image at the precise dimension. To change the picture orientation most likely you will need a different cropping system. We use a WordPress function – add_image_size() – you can read about it here – https://codex.wordpress.org/Function_Reference/add_image_size – and here – http://www.davidtan.org/wordpress-hard-crop-vs-soft-crop-difference-comparison-example/
Our theme crop (cut) thumbnails in some cases to avoid creating a lot of thumbnails to reduce to load more spaces on the server.
If you don’t have the possibility to upload large images you could use a combination of plugins to upscale the thumbs – Thumbnail Upscale and Force Regenerate. For more information about these kinds of plugins, please consult their documentation here -> https://wordpress.org/plugins/thumbnail-upscale/ -> https://wordpress.org/plugins/regenerate-thumbnails/ Also, please ensure that the functionalities of these plugins are not affected by the other untested plugins that could create interference through the theme. Unfortunately there is no simple way of knowing what images will need to be cropped and which ones are not needed. If you want to delete the unused ones, you will have to access your files, (not the media library) as you cannot see each thumb in the media library. Access your uploads folder of WP and you will see each thumb in there and you can delete the ones you do not use.
This will not be an easy thing to do unfortunately.
The best way of preventing the use of too many thumbnails is to rethink your website and only use a few elements. Do not use lots and lots of different modules and blocks on your site that each require a new thumb to display. Assess the blocks used and the thumbs you need, and remove the others you do not use from the theme thumbnail section: http://screencast.com/t/WpFTEQmd3Fo

Our theme modules and blocks were designed to show posts so using the modules and blocks you should be able to list the posts that you want on any page using visual composer. Using a plugin like seo by yoast will help with the rank as well.

Try the code below and place it in Theme panel->Custom CSS area.
