This is no issue. The more tag will not work with our excerpts as they are custom made. If you want to add manual excerpts to a post you can do it from here in post settings: http://screencast.com/t/hwZcmrCykl

The only place where the more tag will work is the m15 module that can be used on category pages for example:
http://screencast.com/t/6qI88R3RnS – this module will display the full content of the post but it cannot be used on pages as there is no content block created with this module.

I have an odd problem and can’t figure it out.
Anytime I go to add a background image to a block on the homepage, the image does not center, it aligns on the top of the block.
Here is an example of the big slide block with a background color :

But the downside is, pages do not have featured images so there will be no images in the block like so: http://screencast.com/t/wrt5omSgG

Designing your website it’s a task which falls beyond the support can offer you at the moment. The blue block does not come from our theme so it must be either a plugin or custom made. this being the case, we cannot recreate it on our end to know why it’s not positioning properly. Could anybody help? I have four issues now (on the local side i did not have it)
1 All the video’s don’t show their featured images (they used to get them automatically when publishing)
2 I cannot activate the Div social counter, this is one of the errors it gives. [td_block_social_counter custom_title=”STAY CONNECTED” facebook=”tagDiv” twitter=”envato” youtube=”envato”]
3 I want to change the front page but my old frontpage does show visual composer. Secondly i don’t know how to change the front page.
4 The sidebars don’t show visual composer.

Hi,
I am using Newspaper Travel theme in my website.
As shows in the demo, there are 3 blocks on the slider of the homepage which is created using Block 5 feature of Visual Composer. The blocks are showing 3 posts. Is it possible to show 3 pages instead on the blocks?

Really I don’t want to change the width of the whole page… I’d like to aling the blue block (Telepace1, Telepace2, …) on the right togheter with the other elements of the page. I think it’s a padding space issue of the single element, not of the page width. I’cant find the name of the block to modify the css.

Last week I started having trouble with uploading media such as the featured images –was getting an “Http Error”.
On “larger” images 125k+ was getting “Internal Server Error” (see images included in folder link below)
Tried both WP image upload methods and still had the problem.
I thought it might be a server problem timing out or something. I Called the host company GoDaddy, they found no problem.
I then turned off ALL plugins and the problem still continued.
Then, I uninstalled the NewsMag Theme and put in the generic WP theme and the uploading problem was solved.
Reinstalled NewsMag and it started again.
I managed to get some images to upload but… Oddly… when they do upload, the file name but not the actual thumbnail preview appears in the in the library.
I ran the Regenerate Thumbnail plugin on individual images and that fixed it –I was able to post normally.
With the most recent post though, I can’t get it to appear on mobile (yes more complicated! haha)
I sent three images below for you to see.
One is of the post. You can see the main image of the girl with glasses smiling. When I try to post on Facebook, it’s not reading the featured image.
And in the other screenshot I sent you can see that the featured image is not appearing on in the Block (it does on PC but not on mobile –tried Safari and Chrome and cleared caches on both.
In other words, I’ve tried everything and something is still wrong.

I have moved my site over to HTTPS. I have altered the DB as i usually do to add https to the url. This has updated all of the URLs on the site, but all of the CSS and JS files are being blocked because they are being included as http files. I dont think its a major error, but based on the help i have gotten so far people are blaming the theme for this. I have checked header.php and functins and there are no lines that could be causing this.
In rooting through header.php i found <?php echo td_global::$http_or_https?>. What triggers this to be https? Is this the cause of the site not including external files as https?

If you want to have the author name and the date in two different line, you have to change the display option for the first container. Please try the code below and place it in Theme panel->Custom CSS area.

Now i am using big image, but it is also show cropped.. which look too ugly.. Please tell me the size of image i need to use so in all block the image will look decent. Or any alternative way so the image will not look ugly

I have checked your website and saw the problem with the thumbnail. For some posts you do not have the thumbnail and is shown only the image.Please try to regenerate your Thumbnails with this plugin and check after if your problem is still there.
