Is it not possible to set a global page width? Or is it done by individually changing the width to all the template blocks. (header, footer, page etc. etc)
or is this done with custom css .tdc-row?
i want 1440
also global font. I see we can at a global font. but all blocks are set to a “default” font. Is there no way to simply change the default font? Or do we need to set a global font and then go to every single place you want this font to be used and change it in the templates?
I searched through your document and in the forum and it never yielded any results.
thank you
Hello, since yesterday the filter by tag option doesn’t work anymore on my news ticker blocks.
I created a filter by tag with a “breaking news” tag in order to show that block only when there is an article with that tag. However, now it shows any kind of article, even if the tag has zero posts at the moment.
I already tried to downgrade from the 11.5 version, but with no effect
Hello,
Please use this custom code CSS -> .tdb_single_content .tdb-block-inner.td-fix-index {
word-break: normal!important;
}
Set the code in Newspaper -> Theme panel -> Custom code.
Thank you!
Just found this post and wanted to ask the same. Is there a way to have the title of a post appear on the featured image?
Not on the flex block or post loop, but on the page the contains the single post. For example show the featured image of the single post and instead of the title (and categories) being below the image, have it show on the image?
Thank you!
Hi,
I’m using a cloud header, footer, and customization. As I understand, I need this plugin to import the samples and pre-made blocks, etc, however, once I have completed my design and only focus on posts, I would like to turn off the plugin as I won’t import anything else. I want to have a clean base and deactivate any not needed plugins. However, it looks like I can’t do it, any reason why the plugin needs to stay active?
Thank you.
Hello,
A solution could be to use the unique article option, follow this guide: https://forum.tagdiv.com/unique-articles/
This option automatically removes duplicate posts from the page.
Also, another solution is to set the offset posts on the blocks => https://www.screencast.com/t/Tsiu65TSaRS -> https://www.screencast.com/t/YbkmVbsBrnk
Hope this helps you!
Thank you!
Hi,
Why does the custom HTML get displayed as text?
I have also tried the “code” block option, and again it is displayed as text.
https://investmentknowledge.co.uk/2022/05/top-5-crypto-investments-in-2022/
Hello!
1. Unfortunately, you can not block the access to the forum with our plugin opt-in builder.
2. It couldn’t be a problem as long as you have both the forum and shop in the same WordPress install.
3. We do not have any option to achieve this, sorry.
4. What you mean? A key is only for one domain(website).
Thank you!
Hello,
Thank you for this feature pack update.
I have set custom taxonomies for default WordPress posts, but when I try to edit and add a custom taxonomies block to the cloud single post template, nothing happens.
Tried both adding taxonomies using custom code and CPT UI plugin.
Hello!
Yes, we applied no follow on blocks because there were some duplicate links(image and title) and this is bad for SEO.
Thank you!
I attempted to find my previous post with the same title but it doesn’t appear to be archived, so… here we go again.
I am using a child-theme of Newspaper
I do not have any alterations to the theme. I use the child theme merely as a good practices measure.
Newspaper theme is set to auto update.
Every time a new version updates the tag-div plugins uninstall and a majority of previous set settings in the theme panel revert to the defaults, such as logos, template thumbnail sizes, choice of headers, and more that I cannot remember but, I’ll make a list as I now have to once again go into the theme panel and change them.
Also I have to reactivate the theme with my purchase code every update as well.
I find this highly annoying, time-consuming and generally a pain in the ass.
Here is a printout of the WPeMatico status report of the current setup, including server information, plug-ins, etc…

Hey there,
I have been monitoring my site https://www.foreks-giris.com/ for a long time on Semrush. Today after the last update 11.5, I started getting some warning messages from Semrush that says Screenshot: http://prntscr.com/IRjj7tccnseP
I checked my site and found the tags in . Most of them with td_block_inner class. Screenshot: https://prnt.sc/iWsiYkjR5z3l
I did not make any changes on the site in Newspaper settings.
Could you please check and help me to fix this?
Maybe there was something wrong with the update.
Thank you!
Hello,
Please make sure you have assigned a header template, you can check this in Manager(Website Manager) -> Header -> https://i.imgur.com/y0nJ4Q5.png
For this -> https://imgur.com/IlqhHAL you need to enable the thumbs from Theme Panel -> Thumbs on Modules/Blocks => https://i.imgur.com/AtRRjN4.png
Thank you!
Hello,
You can use the custom code CSS for blockquotes and set the custom code in Theme Panel -> Custom Code -> Custom CSS.
Please check this topic with a similar question -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/is-it-possible-that-no-one-has-asked-a-question-about-changing-blockquote-style/ you can edit the style with the tagDiv composer, depending on what you want to achieve.
Thank you!
Is there a way to change the editors-style.css so that i can have the classic editor post editor look like my front end blockquotes. The current backend post editor has blockquotes look huge and ugly, and i want to change the css so it matches how i display them in an article. So i achieve an almost wysiwyg post editor, or as close as reasonable.
I used to be able to this with a child theme, but i believe that it is no longer supported to have an editors-style.css in child theme.
But if i hard edit the editors-style.css in the theme, i expect changes are lost with each update ???
How to add fix this “Newsletterform code is empty. Please configure this block/widget by entering a form code”
Hello!
That block can be found only inside the mega menu: https://forum.tagdiv.com/mega-menu/
Thank you!
Hello. I need support with creating a smart list post in the Newspaper Template. I’ve followed the instructions provided in https://forum.tagdiv.com/smart-lists/ but I’m not able to add content to the smartlist element.
Steps Taken:
– Created a new post using the Smart List Template 5 post template
– Published the post after adding title, images and paragraph blocks (at this point…the post does not resemble a smart list post)
– Go into edit mode of the post using tagDiv Developer and it automatically inserts a Single Post Smartlist element into the post with 3 pictures inserted from my media gallery.
– I save the post but the SmartList does not appear when going to live preview.
How do I insert content into the smartlist post?
Thanks in advance
Thanks for the reply. But you don’t really answer my question. I understand and it is understandable that you do not have to test this plugin, but that was not the question. The question is: does the Newspaper theme deliberately block handlebar script? Handlebar is not a script of that plugin, but a general script. That is the question, because the problem is with the Newspaper theme. When I switch to another theme, the problem disappears. The question, therefore, is: does the Newspaper theme deliberately block handlebar script?
Thanks
REPEAT OF ABOVE POST BECAUSE I NEED TO ADD SOMETHING
**************************************
The ‘ToTop’ button was already enabled. Not sure what it does however since I can’t see what ever effect it has. Just for good measure I turned the ‘Show on Mobile’ button too.
However, I think I may have discovered what the problem is, thought I still don’t know how to solve it. I noticed that if I select the header content in the desktop or tablet modes https://www.screencast.com/t/mCacmjyMm0d it tells me it it is the header menu as I go across the mode selector from desktop to tablet landscape to tablet portrait. But when I continue to mobile mode, the mode info changes to simply ‘Content’. https://www.screencast.com/t/MidBZxZXS0V9 I think what I can see as my Header Menu in mobile is simply Content, not the actual Header Menu.
The actual header content is there, but inaccessible in the composer. But it shows in mobile as a blank block, and when I ‘pull down’ the page in mobile, it shows as a blank blue line with a blank logo element.https://www.screencast.com/t/tghJI6uTNDh
How do I:
1/ Access this hidden header content block
2/ Get rid of the additional content information masquerading as a header?
3/ Furthermore, since I realize what the problem is, I realize that in fact on the other pages of the website, e.g. the ‘Join Us page, the header menu appears on Desktop in the editor https://www.screencast.com/t/DguykAYzmkws but in the mobile version it doesn’t appear at all https://www.screencast.com/t/tojKftCR
Bottom line: I think I have hidden blocks that are selectively appearing. I think I did this in the course of trying to make the menus work. Whatever the reason, how can I make them appear so I can access them?
Or is the solution just that the website header structure is so screwed up, with blocks that have been hidden now not accessible. So I should just create a brand new, properly functioning header and apply it to all the pages? and if so, how do I do this?
(Hopefully I don’t have to wait till tomorrow again to get an answer on this.)>>>>sorry but your tech support process leaves something to be desired. You are over i Europe but if you’re going to support people in Europe, you need to have someone working on Nort American hours. It takes 3-5 days to get any kind of problem solved because you’re in Romania working in European hours so you answer my question, but buy the time I get to it and implement it, and if I have a supplementary question, by the time I ask it you’re gone for the day. So I have to wait another day for the answer and we go through the cycle again. Its really frustrating.
So, I checked my company pages in mobile. None of them have a mobile header that can be seen in Composer. Please tell me how this mobile view header is supposed to work? I can’t access it??

Hi, my RSS feeds populate into an app, but just recently they’ve started showing images in the page body in a weird place that messes up the app layout.
The app team says it is being caused by an issue on my website caused by the following code in the feed CSS
figure {
display: block;
margin-block-start: 1em;
margin-block-end; 1em
marin-inline-start: 40px
margin-inline-end: 40px
}
i’ve searched through every possible file and can’t find this code to remove it, please can your advise?

Normally I don’t have issues to change such a little thing but I can’t figure it out on mobile.
I need the color of the date to be white too on block 22 on mobile view.
Cheers

Newspaper 11.4.3 generates excessive queries to the database as soon as it is activated, and consumes all the CPU resources, slowing down and finally blocking the dedicated server. This did not happen to us before, and we need some urgent solution. Attached capture with data from Query Monitor, which are constant with those more than 2,200 queries, deactivating all plugins.

Hello,
If you want to create a sidebar please do it with tagDiv Composer like in this guide from the frontend https://forum.tagdiv.com/sidebars-tutorial/. Also, I recommend you to use a Flex Block -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/flex-block-settings-guide/
Thank you!
