Images are being output as the full size large file instead of the optimized versions when using any of the tagdiv composer image blocks (image box, image info box, title over image, text with image), and selecting an image size lower than the full size in the attachment display options.
This is resulting in a huge amount of extra page load.
We are also using MaxCDN and Short Pixel. Have tried it with and without it and get the same results.
Any ideas?
I’ve written a plugin which pulls a value from postmeta and renders is on a category page. I can drag it from the list of blocks into place, save it, and the plugin behaves as intended. However because the plugin has no content of it’s own, I’m not able to select it in tagDiv composer to make edits.
Does the tagDiv Block API have an option for “placeholder text” or something similar? Or is there a way to output the name of the plugin while in composer? For example, I could do a check in my code to say:
if ($editMode) {
return 'My block';
} else {
// do my code
}
I create a custom template for Woocommerce products page using the Woo Product Blocks.
I have some virtual product (online courses) that i set out of stock but the purchase button remains visible for this product. Is it possible to hide the add-to-cart button for the out of stock products?
Hello, I thought the problem was solved, but the problem seems to return automatically. Whenever you make any changes to the template file (I moved some blocks) it shows 6 posts again even though the tab “Enable Auto Loading” is OFF (set to the left). And you can not set it back to 1 post anymore. So now I have 6 posts again! How do I get it back to 1 post?

Hello!
If you don’t use a security plugin, please ask your host about this, maybe you have a security module that blocks this.
If you use a plugin like Wordfence please set it in learning mode.
Also, make sure that you do not have a plugin conflict, please deactivate ALL plugins except tagDiv plugins, also if you are using a child theme or cache plugin, deactivate them, clear all cache and try again.
Thank you!
Hello!
Please provide your website link to understand what you want and which block you used.
https://sureyarnstest.xyz/category/entertainment/celebrity/ -> this is “Posts Loop” element, you can find it in the TagDiv Comnposer: https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-composer-tutorial/, if you want only one block, then set the posts limit: 1.
In order to edit a page/post with TagDiv Composer you need to use a PRO/cloud template and not a default one.
Thank you!
Hello!
Please verify the setting from Flex Block called “Image size” and choose a bigger image size.
Let me know the results!
Thank you!
I am having the same problem. Please help.
The sidebar, footer and everything below the nav menu takes the whole row. The sidebar is no longer a sidebar but a vertical block. Please help asap
Hey,
I’m not sure what happened, but I updated some plugins today, and deactivated others (Elementor and WordPressBakery). Now my home page only shows the following message instead of the content that was on there before:
[tdc_zone type=”tdc_content”][vc_row][vc_column][td_block_18 category_id=”193″][td_block_8 custom_title=”Black History” category_id=”193″ sort=”oldest_posts” limit=”6″][td_flex_block_1 modules_on_row=”33.33333333%” limit=”3″ hide_audio=”yes” category_id=”9″ custom_title=”Opinion”][td_block_big_grid_5 category_id=”214″ td_grid_style=”td-grid-style-5″][td_block_5 category_id=”70″ custom_title=”Short Stories” limit=”3″][/vc_column][/vc_row][/tdc_zone]
The other pages are unaffected. When I attempted to make edits to the homepage through tagdiv composer (ie add back the missing columns), it did not resolve the issue.
Please help.
The following error message is displaying in the header of my website:
Warning: A non-numeric value encountered in /home/customer/www/parraparents.com.au/public_html/wp-content/themes/Newspaper/includes/wp_booster/td_block.php on line 326
It only appeared after SiteGround upgraded PHP to 7.4. I’m going to roll back for now and hope that fixes it, but they won’t support sites with earlier versions by the end of the year.
I’d appreciate your advice on how to fix this problem.
Website is http://www.parraparents.com.au/
Hi we have set the blockquote color in the newspaper theme panel > theme colors > content > posts section to be read. See screenshot https://paste.pics/c7419886a9bc393bc6656ff9d98338b1 but it has no effect on the front-end of the post. See our test site https://test.feminisminindia.in/blog/2021/02/26/how-global-economic-policies-affect-local-gender-issues/ for the result. If you inspect the blockqoute element, you will see that the stylesheet overrides the select red hexcode.
Hi, I’m trying to get my thumb placeholder image to fit into flex block 1, however I’m having some trouble.
The image size is 1038×248 pixels, which I have tried to resize using the ‘scale image’ function in wordpress so that it is 400px wide (which I believe is the width of the flex block 1 grid box), however, the image still doesn’t fit, instead it gets more pixlated.
I feel like i’m making an obvious mistake here but I’m not sure what, and I’d appreciate some advice.
Thank you
Hi there,
Getting an error on my site since yesterday. I think my web host was recently updated to the latest PHP version.
Error is:
Warning: A non-numeric value encountered in /home/customer/www/blueplanetsociety.org/public_html/wp-content/themes/Newspaper/includes/wp_booster/td_block.php on line 997
Also wondering – how do I update to the latest version of the theme, as I am using version 7.6.1. Is there a special way to update it – I see no option to do that within WordPress.
Thanks
No You’re not getting me. Okay, I want to achieve this block https://ibb.co/qDKv0hz on my homepage, but I also want it to have excerpts, no block is offering me that, but I can see it already exists in my category section, but it is not available for homepage.
Hello,
Maybe I didn’t understand exactly what you mean, but if you mean that this block => https://www.screencast.com/t/5V6YxH2t you can add the element post loop => https://www.screencast.com/t/7KvuU5kQVx5z and set the excerpt.
Thank you!
Hello,
Please try this code https://www.screencast.com/t/YI0Nz6A4Aonc .td-block-title
{
display:inline;
background-color: yellow;
}
The code needs to be set in Theme panel -> Custom code -> Custom CSS
Let me know the results!
Thank you!
Precision : in TD editor also some blocks were displayed as source
Last evening, I’ve done an update (because of a security alert bulletin from iThemes) from 10.4 to 11. And then update required plugins. After that TD blocks was displayed as source even after emptying cache. Restoring only theme was not sufficient and I’ve to do a full restore from previous night backup. The website owner is not very happy…
Is there a known problem ? Have I missed a step ?
Hello,
Please check this topic that has the same request https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/adding-short-description-as-an-excerpt-to-the-td-composer-woo-product-block/
Hope that help you!
Thank you!
Hello,
You can find the file for product block in this path => wp-content/plugins/td-woo/modules/td_woo_product_module.php and like a suggestion, you can add this line of code -> https://i.imgur.com/UjJJC1i.png
I informed our developers about this request, to add it in the coming updates.
Thank you!
I can’t find this block style https://ibb.co/q0WDjjj (located in category section), to use on the homepage. The only option I have is this https://ibb.co/cN1t6pX it has a smaller height.
Hi,
The breadcrumb are not display because of the extra class from body -> https://i.imgur.com/gKzRzaD.png that use a css that is hide it. What you can do is to try a stronger css, like this one https://i.imgur.com/Iwduxu6.png
body.td-scandal .td-post-template-4 .entry-crumbs {
display: block;
}
Set this code in theme panel> custom code> custom css.
I hope it will help you!
Hello,
I’m not sure I fully understand what you are trying to achieve.
If you referring to this block => https://www.screencast.com/t/srD9gLmpwU you can find it like Slide => https://www.screencast.com/t/yJsf47Yi8byc from tagDiv Composer.
Thank you!
This is very awkward!
I have a very simple Page built by TD Composer which contains a block. And this block shows recent video posts. I used post template 10 of classical theme and of course I set this post’s format as VIDEO. But this creates a slow loading problem for my page. Post’s page opens quite normal but TD Composer page is very slow. If I change these post’s format to STANDART, page renders normal.
P.S.: I tried to change post template, also tried TD composer block options, too. Not helped!
Any ideas?
I want the block article display design on https://sureyarnstest.xyz/ to be similar to that on the category section https://sureyarnstest.xyz/category/entertainment/celebrity/ I cant find the option to display this particular block style that has a bigger featured image box.
