Unfortunately, only categories can be displayed on blocks and grids, not the tags, tags can be displayed only inside the post.

This is a special block, and unfortunately for the Posts Loop, the option to exclude the category is not implemented.
You can insert another block where you can apply the filter to exclude the category.

You can create your own pages or you can import from Cloud Library Templates a blank page and customize it with tagDiv Composer or you can import a template page if you find one to like it => https://www.screencast.com/t/NEDNdJSb1N7
If I understand correctly you want to display some more posts from the same category, this can be done by using the filter tab from flex elements https://forum.tagdiv.com/flex-block-settings-guide/ -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/flex-block-settings-guide/ you can select the category that you want to display and set in “Show the following IDs:” => https://www.screencast.com/t/iJaRmgFhpOaC the ids for the subcategories that you want to display them.

I take that back. Looks like someone responded to my first inquiry, although I figured it out before I got to the response. In this case though, I’ve spent a few hours tweaking this or that just to get the audio player to show up in the block on the homepage, but nothing works. You’d think ‘show audio player’ would do the trick.

How can I put my category blocks in red?
I am attempting to post an audio file on the homepage of my site (newspaper theme). Clicking show/hide doesn’t make it work. I would like to replicate the block on the Pulse Pro homepage that features a podcast and audio player all on the front page.
Please advise. No one responded to my last forum message and I just purchased this theme. I thought support was available for a few months.

I’m currently designing my blog, and I’m using the “flex block 5” to put my posts in a customized grid. Anyway, I was not be able to let the flex blocks in the same size (width * height) and all the blocks are completely disorganized. You can see it here to have a better idea: website

Hi, I have looked to your page when throtteling the speed in chrome dev tools down to 100 kb/s download, 25 kb/s upload and 150 ms latency, as I can see the font is changing (FOUT), but that’s not all
the image collage board is not loaded with the correct placeholder and it shifts between the text. I had that problem too – try to insert the picture with a classic block if you use the Core Editor of WordPress / Gutenberg. And also the image description jumps around from center to left. And the second block in the sidebar is jumping around.

I’m trying to exclude a category from the first post loop on a website. In other blocks there are fields where you can enter a category id and no posts from this category will show here, but not “Post Loop”. In posts loop you can only exclude singular posts with their ids.
Is there a way to achieve this?

Please make sure that you activate the option you need for the thumbnails size from Newspaper -> Theme panel -> Block settings -> Thumbs on Modules/Blocks.
After activating the thumbnail sizes you need to regenerate your thumbnails using a plugin. Check our guide from here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/using-the-theme-with-existing-content/

Hi there, I am hoping you can help explain something here for me specifically on posts and a post template.
– So I would like to create a template for the content of a post per category. but focusing on the body text and body layout specifically like so: https://share.getcloudapp.com/P8ukE9n6

– So as you can see I want to make sure a initial template is launched on the post itself and then the author or editor of the post can tweak its copy and content as they see fit so to speak.
Is this possible or am I missing something obvious as I am not too familiar with the tagdiv editor and blocks actually. I do not want to have to build a post from scratch in terms of the various elements it needs each time around if that makes sense.

I have searched the documentation and I can’t find a way to create the home page, contact, blog and about that appear in the demo (see attached image)

You can upload any image you want in Media. Also, you can add any image you want in our elements.
When you edit a post normally you can add from editor settings your featured image which you want from Media.
Also, with flex block element you can filter them which you like to display in the settings presented in our guide.

If you don’t have the block with image, you can add with tagDiv Composer => https://www.screencast.com/t/SFidTz2sYhKvand add a Flex Block 1, where you can apply limit post number to 2, filter and adjust it as you want.
