Unfortunately in this way were build the modules, the post title will be display without html tags, on posts/articles the html tags are applying to can customize the post/article more easy! for modules the only way that you can make that html tags to affect the titles in modules/blocks/grids is to make changes in thee core.

I’m fine tuning the responsive version of the site, and on iphone, I need to limit the post amount of a module, specifcally for iphone, but doesn’t seems possible. the Limit post number field affects all versions.
is there a way to specify a different Post limit number for Desktop / Smartphone view ?
the articles list is too long for phones.
I know I can hide a module on iphone, and insert a new one jusst for phones, but it’s gonna slow down the page load…

My site uses quite ling titles, and we need to be able to cut them visually where needed.
And noticed that the <br /> tag in an article title is not working with Big Grid or flex block or modules.

the tag seems to be ignored.
(but still here when you go on the article page)

(if you inspect the title, you can see the <br/> is there and effective)
Is there a way to make this <br /> tag not ignored in those modules ?

A bit of background:
We changed our hosting recently to a VPS server from a shared server.
Everything migrated properly except our custom template.
Whenever we turn on any TagDiv plugins we are blocked from logging into WordPress and we get the following message “There has been a critical error on your website.”
We have turned off TagDiv through our hosting provider, but need our website to look the way it was with custom code.

Dear support,
due to editorial reasons, we need to set up an alternative title for posts and have the option to display it only in home page. This means that the post “Hello World” could have an alternative title “Goodbye World” and each block on the home page (created by using the tagdiv composer) should reflect the alternative title where this is set.
So basically, does the newspaper theme provide a hook used by all the modules where i can put some php logic in order to display one post title or the other?

I recently installed Newspaper 10 on an old blog.
I’m still working on configuring it. But I have a problem with Instagram feed configuration.
I accessed Theme Panel > Social Networks. I clicked “Connect Instagram Account”. Instagram prompt me for username and password. I provided them. Then I have an error message. “Instagram Connection Error”.
I tried several times since last week. I followed the given tutorial. But I always have the very same message.
Is it possible that there is an API change blocking me? What is the cause of the problem? What can we do to make it works?

Unfortunately we have not managed yet to find the block that you mentioned on your page. Please make sure that you do not have a plugin conflict, please deactivate ALL plugins except tagDiv ones, also if you are using child theme or cache plugin, deactivate them, clear all cache and try again. Also take a look at our Moile theme documentation and make sure that you have set up mobile theme properly: https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/

It seems the post loop in our home page is using the “most popular” post instead of latests post despite we have set right all the options in “posts loop settings”. The only option that seems to work fine in “posts loop settings > latest articles” page management is the layout, that can be modified and the changes are correctly shown in the page. But none of the other options seems to make any effect: Category filter, sort order, Limit post number…
You can have a look on “Contenidos recientes” block (down of the page) at “https://agoranews.es/”.
We have tried it with parent theme in local enviroment and works fine but not in our child theme. There’s some kind of dysfunction there.
I can give you access to pre-production enviroment so you can have a look.

Indeed the blocks are gone from the tagDiv Composer without standard pack. All you have are Flex Blocks and big grid flex, You will have to use them in order to achieve the design you want without standard pack.

The “[tagDiv] Block 1” widget will display as default posts, so if you are using shop post you’ll need to change the post type -> http://prntscr.com/pyy7su you can check more about this in our documentation from here .
The flex blocks make part from the new version of Newspaper, these have a lot of options for customize and these can be set with tagDiv Composer in pages the cloud templates from tagDiv Cloud Library in this way you can create sidebars on post template and is no need for the widgets.
The classic blocks make part from standard pack plugin.

To be more clear, in Theme panel, section thumbs, you’ll see and description for all the thumbs on what element will apply, if you consider that you’ll use that thumb you enable it, if not you can disable so the theme will not create that thumb -> http://prntscr.com/pyxjbv
So is your decision which dimension you choose to use -> http://prntscr.com/pyxk7y , using flex elements you can choose which size to display -> http://prntscr.com/pyxlpq and the format ( width and height for image ) -> http://prntscr.com/pyxne8 so it can be 16:9 or 4:3.
If the size is 1920px then there should be no problems.

When selecting on an advertising block, then selecting the image to be inserted, it displays an error message “Invalid data The current state has been a problem. You can try an UNDO operation (CTRL + Z / CTRL + SHIFT + Z)”

i’m using the “[tagDiv] Block 1” widget in the default sidebar but see no categories showing up. Apparently, there is no option in the widget panel to show them up. So i’ve been digging around your code and found out that in wp-content\plugins\td-standard-pack\Newspaper\includes\modules\td_module_4.php there’s the following:

But that tds_category_module_4 seems to not exists throughout the whole theme/plugin.
So basically, how can i make post categories show up when using block widgets on a sidebar?
P.S: also, why there are no “flex blocks” as widgets?
