Hi,
The mobile theme is a plugin that provide you a better speed then responsive version of theme, but in order to achieve that speed you’ll need to create a new content for pages because in the most of cases those were made with builders ( tagDiv Composer, WPBakery ) and you need to use only the mobile editor ( you need to set the content for pages in mobile editor and this content will be display on mobile theme)
-> https://www.screencast.com/t/ebUIzt4se
If you want the responsive version and amp you should use this opinion -> https://www.screencast.com/t/jZct5ueBqOrb but if you have amp activate on pages you’ll need to create in Mobile editor a content for AMP version of page.
Also please check our documentation for Mobile Theme: Automatic Optimization for Mobile with Newspaper Theme -> https://tagdiv.com/mobile-theme-automatic-optimization-for-mobile-newspaper-theme/
I think that you are referring to those 3 blocks, for those you’ll need to have set seam feature posts (that have set feature category) -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/featured-posts-2/ -> https://www.screencast.com/t/QsJ6ppY4
You’ll need to add some post in feature category -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/featured-posts-2/ if you do not have this category you can create it, just make sure that you set the category name to be
Featured
Thank you for your understanding!
Hi,
Now that file can be find in -> wp-content/plugins/td-composer/legacy/Newspaper/includes/shortcodes/td_block_related_posts.php

Hi,
Unfortunately that setting will apply the background color only in posts with that category, sorry!
If you want to change the category background color on blocks please check this similar topic -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/how-can-i-show-the-category-of-each-post-on-the-thumbnail-of-the-post/
Thank you for your understanding!
I want to restyle the blockquote element in my posts. In particular, I want the font size for that text to be identical to the font size of body text in my posts.
I’m aware of the reply to Edit Quoted Text in Newspaper that (a) gives an example of using custom CSS for changing the color and (b) “For the front end you can choose the font properties for the quotes in the theme panel” using this screenshot.
In the Theme Fonts panel, under “Post content,” all of the “Default Blockquote” settings (for Font family, Size, Line height, Style, etc.) are “Default”. How can I determine what those default values actually are?
I ask because I want to manually override the size of all posts’ blockquote text to be the size of post body text. (It’s clear that the default Size for Blockquote is larger than the default Size for Post Content.) Thus, I need to know the font size of post content text in order to set the Size of Default Blockquote text.
Is this specified in CSS somewhere that I can access? If not, how do I figure this out?
Thanks!
Hi,
You can use the filer for posts -> https://www.screencast.com/t/6tGnDrbLGs just set the id of post you want to show.
Please check our documentation for Block settings ->https://forum.tagdiv.com/block-settings-guide/
Thank you!
Hi,
You can use the modified date option that provides our theme to display each date you want on blocks, you can use this option, or use the old one with publish date.
Please check the settings from theme panel -> https://www.screencast.com/t/H7CFzAKVw7 set the option with tagDiv Composer-> https://www.screencast.com/t/OAoAK9oUu make an update on post -> https://www.screencast.com/t/vcQoLkQByxc now check the date of that post -> https://www.screencast.com/t/sKbLrp1jz also you can sort after a modified date -> https://www.screencast.com/t/VSePr63B
Also, the modified date on a post can be set with tagDiv Composer on single post template -> https://www.screencast.com/t/eYkeLqbCqV -> https://www.screencast.com/t/3qCSo9Nxtt

Hi,
The Newspaper theme update brings a change for the customers that use WP Bakery Page Builder with our Theme:
When you’ll be updating to the Newspaper 9.7 version, you’ll need to activate the tagDiv Composer to keep the Newspaper theme functionality you’ve previously used.
Otherwise, you will have basic WordPress functionality, complying with Envato WordPress Requirements – https://help.author.envato.com/hc/en-us/articles/360000472383-WordPress-Theme-Requirements
Please note that activating the tagDiv Composer doesn’t mean that you are required to use our custom page builder on your website.
You can use the WP Bakery page builder as you did before the update
We recommended you to do not use the tagDiv Composer and WP Bakery page builders on the same page though, because you cannot edit with WP Baker blocks and shortcodes created with tagDiv Composer or vice-versa.
If there is still a problem, please provide some more details, some screenshots and a link were I can inspect this problem.
Thank you!

Hi,
If you want to set up a certain post to be on the top of your category section, I suggest to create a category template and add at the top of it a simple block and filter it by a certain post, using the post filter ID, like this -> https://www.screencast.com/t/86gwgn2lS
Hope this helps!
Thank you!
Hi,
Only the post loops and latest articles have pagination, blocks have only -> https://www.screencast.com/t/g92HkDnin
Thank you for your understanding!
Hello,
Yes, indeed, Please do not use the old ionMag red blocks. They are blocks from an entirely different theme.
@mscgluk
In most cases this is caused either by a plugin conflict as it was for digitalnoisestudios or by low memory allocation, file permissions, or blocked content by your firewall.
Please use this guide to increase your php version and memory allocation: https://forum.tagdiv.com/requirements-for-newspaper/
Please also try to disable all non theme plugins to test for any plugin conflicts.
Thank you!
I am getting this error after latest upgrade on some of my pages at http://www.the-blockchain.com with or withouth the booster plugin activated or note.
wp_booster error:
td_api_base::mark_used_on_page : a component with the ID: 2 is not set.

Hi all, I’m totally new to this, so please excuse me if I’m just being stupid!
I want to customise the fonts in my blocks on the composer, but in the element settings there are no dropdowns available for fonts, the only font available is ‘default’ and nothing I click on allows me to see any other options.
How can I fix this?
Thank you!

In theme panel section there is a menu named block settings. How is it possible there aren’t articles or very short videos that show what these blocks are for? Is so much difficult write something to help people understand how they works??
Nothing on YouTube
Nothing on Facebook
Nothing on Forum
Nothing on Document section
I have no words to explain how time I am wasting to understand something
You can hide it using CSS:
.td_block_related_posts .td-related-right {
display:none;
}
My question is in this image https://drive.google.com/file/d/19xNd82E–3rw4J6mTLHlWBTtey1vD599/view?usp=drivesdk
Hi,
How can I remove the “MORE FROM AUTHOR” tab in Newspaper 9.7?
In the previous version, I just have to edit the file referred here: http://www.screencast.com/t/Okmq7lxTDzGd
In this new version, the td_block_related_posts.php was deleted.
I want to make some changes on my homepage. I want to use a block(Big Grid Full 7). On this block i want to select a specific category of posts, not articles. Is there any way to specify an category(name and image) to be showed for each of the 7 elements of the block?
