Hi,
I satisfied with your example but still have confusion in “Subtitle:” and “Quote on blocks:”.
Will you please explain me with an example.
Also, let me know the benefit of doing this because of both “VIA” and “SOURCE” has rel nofollow Link…
Thanks a lot

Unfortunately, you can not use full text with photos in one classic block. There is a problem with inserting a photo in a specific place in the text in the classic block

There is also a lack of functionality of the Gutenberg editor in the pictures – https://wordpress.org/gutenberg/

Quotation signatures (author of the quote
) in the Gutenberg block also do not work. Also, they do not look very good

Hi im using Big grid flex 7 and block 11 , how to crop featured images for this grid and block? and how many pixel to set?

So when clicking on a paragraph block from Gutenberg you are missing these options?
http://prntscr.com/luw8le

There is indeed a classic element in Gutenberg, but what exactly is wrong with it? seems to function correctly
https://www.screencast.com/t/w6bLHJQvL
I can enter text in it, images etc same as before.

Columns seems to work alright as well – https://www.screencast.com/t/aKBGtMdcbl6M

Is this happening if you test with no other plugins excerpt theme plugins active? or maybe test with a default WordPress theme.

The theme doesn’t interfere with the Gutenberg elements, everything is working properly on our end.

Hello,

I know that Google Page Insights is not a perfect tool to measure the page speed. But I have a big difference between the mobile and the desktop version:

Mobile Version 19% (https://picload.org/view/dccggriw/bildschirmfoto2018-12-14um13.0.png.html)

OK, I’ll do that for now but will you be integrating with the image Gutenberg blocks?

Thanks Calin.

Another question: I successfully changed the color of the prev/next arrows in the trending news section, as you can see here with the purple outline: https://ibb.co/xDP4vMG

However, when trying to replicate the same thing on the next/prev arrows at the bottom of a block, I can’t seem to be able to change the outline and make it purple. All I can do is having the button purple when the mouse is on top of it, but the outline remains grey and very difficult for users to spot: https://ibb.co/RTF6WDH

Do you have to dig into the css file or is there any setting I can easily change in the tagdiv interface?

Thanks again.

Hi,

Here is talking about pre-defined footer templates which can be changed from Theme panel. Read our documentation from here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/footer-templates/ The popular category section from Footer is just a simple block which is sorted by Popular Category. As a hint, you can try using the footer template style 5 which allows you to add any block you want from the Widgets section.
Thanks for your understanding!

Hello,

Please notice that task involves doing such additional customizations and we cannot provide support for these services, sorry! All the custom modifications which will you make on the website can be lost when the theme will be updated. You can do this, but we recommend to make a full backup to your database and changes for a new theme update. Also, if you want to create your own Block, you can try to do it using the API implementation code, according to our documentation from here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/td_api_blockadd/
Notice: If you are not aware of the steps which are needed to take in this case, please consider hiring a freelancer/developer to help you because we can not provide custom work at the moment, sorry!

Thanks.

Hi,

Images can be added with the Gutenberg image block, wherever you want in the post content
https://www.screencast.com/t/tbWneXUqOkg
Choose the image size you want – http://prntscr.com/lutonj
Here is more information about it – https://gogutenberg.com/blocks/image/

Or you can add images with the classic element provided in Gutenberg
https://www.screencast.com/t/ZWfxXiZMhxQg

More about using quotes here – https://gogutenberg.com/blocks/quote/

All these blocks and their settings should work properly. If you identified any issues created by the theme, please mention the steps to recreate them and we will check it out.

Thanks

All functions from the right side are not available anymore. Only the ones one the top of each paragraph. We can’t change the classic tip of block.
https://www.screencast.com/t/Xd0yImesib

This is the issue with the column.

One day before before everything was well, editing with new Gutenberg WordPress editor.

Hello,
I am new to this theme and I don’t understand how to exlude one category from block grid 2 for example. As long as I understand I have to simply add, being 23 the id category, ‘_’23 or ’23’ in the multiple categories filter. None of the two solutions is working.

Could you please kindly assist?
Thanks in advance

Hi,

So you want to remove the author names and dates from blocks and grids, these are the setting for that
https://www.screencast.com/t/S4YX8XtLy63
For the single post pages the settings are here – https://www.screencast.com/t/9YmHGNUzP

Also consider to update the theme to 9.2.1, this update fixes some issues with the theme lazyload causing images and thumbnails to not be displayed.

Thanks

Hi, after hours of searching documentation, this forum, TD composer, and WP I cannot figure out how to remove a section that exists toward the bottom of my home page. It is not a TD block that I can remove, if I click on it in TD composer it just links out like a regular link.

https://ggn00b.com/

If you scroll all the way down you see this just before the footer..

https://www.evernote.com/l/AHEWV8c6zdFPNYpn6G6iEK5s98in7PUwLjI

It appears to be showing the oldest published post on the site, and just below it you can scroll through the rest of the posts from oldest to newest.

I want to remove this entirely but I have no idea how, can you help?

ok, I got it in “td-composer/td-multi-purpose/shortcodes/tdm_block_column_content.php”.

Hello, I am currently using the newspaper theme. Recently our site has been running really slow and unstable, we could no longer access css from within the theme panel or wordpress css from within the admin and some more issues as well. So we set up a new wordpress website with Google cloud hosting.

I have 2 questions

1.) which database table/s are specific to the newspaper theme/blocks etc?
2.) I can not access the export file in theme panel because my cursor does not highlight the code to export when I click within the export settings theme box with the code. Has anyone else ever had this issue? Or is there any other place I can access the code to import into my new theme installation?

thanks

Using the classic editor block you can not add a photo under the text. After adding a photo, it moves up over the text. The cyclist option in the Gutenberg editor also does not work properly. There are also no options for stretched the image on the entire width of the page.

do not suggest switching on the classic editor plugin …

Hi,

I see that there are many categories excluded from the block you mention, additionally it is filtered by a specific tag slug
https://www.screencast.com/t/SjCvVPSWa5
Are you sure that there are later posts by publish date according to this filtering? meaning not in those excluded categories and with the same tag.

Thanks

Hi,

Please add this custom css ( this custom css will border all blocks/modules that you have on your website )
.td-module-thumb, .td-image-wrap, .entry-thumb {
border-radius: 10px;
}

Let me know the results.

Hi,

The tagDiv composer can handle theme elements such as blocks, grids and a few others. But if your pages contain specific WPBakery elements like masonry, accordion tabs etc these will not be rendered and they will appear as shortcodes, if WPBakery is inactive.

Also if you used custom row layouts as WPBakery supports for example, there may be problems with the layout.

Maybe consider making a copy or clone of the website (local or in sub-domain) and test there. Deactivate WPBakery and check what happens. This would be better than testing on the live website. Use the duplicator plugin for example
https://www.shoutmeloud.com/migrate-wordpress-server.html

Thanks

Hi,

Please make sure that the block is set on full width
https://www.screencast.com/t/yrFXuuzaugL

Also please add this in your .htaccess

Thank you for your understanding.

Hi,

All the block quotes settings might be changed from here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/newsmag-post-formats-for-tinymce/ Also, if you want to make some major changes over this element, you need to do it yourself through the code, custom CSS.

Thanks for your understanding!
