Hi,

All the blocks have settings for their title – https://www.screencast.com/t/j36vJAIv1

Block settings guide here – https://forum.tagdiv.com/block-settings-guide/

So changing their titles will not be a problem. If this is not what you are referring to, please try to provide more details and screenshots for a more accurate answer.

Thanks

Hi,

The content width can be increased everywhere where the tagDiv composer can be used. That presumes pages, post templates, category templates, author templates etc by using the cloud library plugin
https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-cloud-library-plugin/

This is possible using the row stretch settings
https://www.screencast.com/t/7tjfmTYcE79L

You can experiment with the cloud templates here, preview and even edit them
https://affiliate.tagdiv.com/#/load/All
There are templates for posts, categories etc, there are page and homepage designs, sections, blocks and many others.

Let us know if you have more questions.

Thanks

Thanks for your answer.

I thought about an other solution and would like to have your opinion.
What do you think about using an existing td theme custom format and changing the css related. Meaning I would use an existing custom format that would not be changed on the updates… the only difference is that the name of the custom format would be something like PinK Block etc…

What do you think ?

Hello again,

This the 3rd time I’m writing this message. Can you please read my message carefully ?

I’m using speedbooster plugin to eliminate render blocking. Google Pagespeed Insights was showing two things related to “Eliminate Render Blocking” which are: 1)td-plugin-multi-purpose and 2)google-fonts-style. Then I’ve followed your speedbooster guide to fix these 2 things and everything worked fine. In other words, there were no problem related to the “Eliminate Render Blocking” on Google PageSpeed Insights anymore.

Everything was fine until I activated tagDiv CloudLibrary. After activating tagDiv CloudLibrary, PageSpeed Insight has started to shown the 2 things that I’ve previously fixed (td-plugin-multi-purpose, google-fonts-style) and also started to shown a new thing: tdb_front_style (which is related to the tagDiv CloudLibrary) for “Eliminate Render Blocking”. And whatever I do, I can’t fix it. In other words, even though SpeedBooster plugin seems active in system status, it can’t do it’s job when I activated CloudLibrary. In order to make sure about this situation, I deactivated the tagDiv CloudLibrary and PageSpeed Insight immediately stopped giving any warnings related to “Eliminate Render Blocking”.

Can you please check my PageSpeed Insight score again and explain to me how I still get “Eliminate Render Blocking” error from Google PageSpeed Insight while using SpeedBooster Plugin correctly ??

Ps:( As I said before, when I deactivated CloudLibrary, PageSpeed Insight stops giving any “Eliminate Render Blocking” errors.)

Our site is divided into mainly music, film and books. Since some posts have no set featured image, we want to set a fallback image per category.

Nearly all of the time we make use of flex block 1, and doing a search online I found a code which would do the trick

<?php if ( has_post_thumbnail() ) : ?>

<div class="entry-thumbnail">
"><?php the_post_thumbnail(); ?>
</div>

<?php else :
$category = get_the_category();
?>
<div class="entry-thumbnail">
">/wp-content/uploads/category-images/<?php echo $category[0]->category_nicename ; ?>-150x150.jpg" alt="<?php the_title(); ?>" />
</div>

<?php endif; ?>

Can anyone of you suggest if this can be implemented manually ?

Looking at the flex block code I figure I would make some changes here on line 22:
if (empty($image_size)) {
$image_size = 'td_696x0';
}

Hi,

If this is what you want to achieve https://www.screencast.com/t/GDiACsqiAQ0
Please paste the below custom css in Newspaper>Theme panel>Custom code>Custom css
@media (max-width: 767px){
.td-art-creek .td-art-creek-banner .td_block_image_box .td-custom-image a {
margin-top: 160px;
width: auto!important;
height: 180px!important;
}
}

Hello,

You should use the Inspector element to know what kind of block/module you are using. Please use it from here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/create-custom-code-using-the-browsers-inspector/

Thanks.

Since I updated the newspaper theme with the Envato market plug-in certain things no longer work.
The article preview images no longer appear and are just empty blocks even though the features image is there once you go into the article.
Also, the active menu item disappears when active. I’m guessing it goes the same colour as the background but no matter how much I mess around with main menu theme colours, nothing changes.

I also have this custom css code which has been working fine to change the active and hover colours:

.td-gadgets .td-header-style-5 .sf-menu > li > a:hover{
color:orange;
}

Can anybody help?

Hello.
I have my category pages set to infinite scroll of all posts.
However, they seem to render in blocks of 10 posts.

They are arranged 3 posts in a row. So, I get a 3 rows of 3 posts then a single posts. This then repeats, which gives a gap of two columns after every 10 posts.
Hopefully you can see what I mean here : http://i-studentglobal-com.sites.stackstaging.com/category/arts-and-humanities/

How can I edit this to be 9 posts per block so the layout of posts has no gaps or empty areas?

Thanks

Hi,

I am unsure whether you will be able to answer question about third party plugin. WPBakery plugin comes with Newspaper theme which I loved. Theme and plugin works fine but after using WPBakery for sometimes, when working with ‘Text Block Settings’, an empty and unused space with ‘S I D E B A R’ (shown vertically) always on the right. I never bother it before but now wonder if it is possible to disable so that I can maximize the space to edit text.

I have been looking on the net but couldn’t find anything related to this topic. I understand that support will not provided by WPBakery as the plugin comes together with the theme.

Hi,

Please regenerate the thumbnails, this is a guide
https://forum.tagdiv.com/thumbnails-fix-strange-looking-images-on-blocks/

Note that the images used as features should be bigger in order to allow the theme to create the necessary thumbnails
https://forum.tagdiv.com/theme-thumbs/
https://forum.tagdiv.com/thumbnails-vs-featured-image-size/

So for example this image – https://mediterraneamagnagrecia.cocoproduzioni.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/12/7c62_12.jpg
That is not big enough to create most of the thumbnails the theme blocks and grids use.

If most of your posts use such small featured images, maybe consider using blocks that use a smaller thumbnail, see them all here
https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper/block-1/
Or cloud library blocks with smaller thumbnails, these are all the designs at the moment
https://affiliate.tagdiv.com/#/load/Blocks

Thanks

That means the problem is with the ads, adsense is not delivering them which explains the 400 errors.

I found a possible cause for this to happen
https://www.kerstner.at/2014/09/multiple-google-adsense-ad-blocks-on-same-page-are-causing-error-400-bad-response/

From what I understand using the same ad code multiple times in a page will lead to 400 errors, same as in this case.

Hello,

Today we updated the update, then updated the TD Composer. Now my homepage looks funny, it will only display code. Below is this message:

wp_booster error:
Internal error: The system tried to use an att that does not exist! class_name: td_res_context Att name: “shadow_offset_horizontal” as “shadow_offset_horizontal”
/var/www/vhosts/web1.server.domain.com/httpdocs/klonen/wp-content/themes/Newspaper/includes/wp_booster/td_css_res_compiler.php

I get this message in composer:

All plugins have been updated. The template re-recorded again. A cache is not running.

This code appears on the homepage:

Hi,

Sorry for the misunderstanding. It depends on where it is placed, it it’s a block, edit the page where it is and modify it as needed

If it’s a widget, it can be edited in Appearance->Widgets

Hi,

If you refer to the feature image from blocks please make sure that you clear all cache (browser/host …), and if your image are still not showing please deactivate lazyload.
I think in the current week will be release an update to fix the problem with lazyload.

If is not this the problem please provide a link were I can inspect your problem.

Thank you.

A loop is a cloud library element – https://www.screencast.com/t/ApD3dp9Rg

The loops will only be visible in the tagDiv composer if the cloud library plugin is active

There are loop designs created by us and available for import. You can preview and even edit them here
