Hello,
thank you for your reply. We disabled the plugins you mentioned, but the problem persists, you can see it now.
When a new article is published, it is not displayed in homepage.
The following settings are set:
Mobile device support. (External plugin or theme required. See the FAQ for further details.)
Clear all cache files when a post or page is published or updated.
Only refresh current page when comments made.
List the newest cached pages on this page.
Are we missing something?
Thank you
Hi
A possible solution at this issue would be to exclude from cache all pages where you’re using blocks with Random filter. I am not sure why your host provider said that he can’t exclude the entire homepage from being cached but at the moment we can’t offer a better alternative at this.
Here I found some informations which may help you bin order to exclude a specific page from being cache: https://support.cloudflare.com/hc/en-us/articles/200172316-How-do-I-exclude-a-specific-URL-from-CloudFlare-s-caching-
Thanks!
Hello ihora,
I have found your website through your other topics and I have checked your page source and I found some untested plugins, as you can see HERE -> http://screencast.com/t/zuQyclcc Please try my advice that I gave you above because it is very important for good results. Please try to disable all the active plugins, leave just Visual Composer and WP Super cache activated and install ONLY the plugins that come bundled with our theme. Your untested plugins (Facebook comments, Cookie Law Info, The Events Calendar,Jetpack) could interfere with the theme and WP super cache and might cause this kind of issue. I suppose that your problem come from this. Please trying this advice and if your problem persists after this, please let us know.
Thank you for your understanding!
Hi,
You need to add the code in the theme panel – custom css box and make sure your previous tag is closed if you have any other code in there.
The code works as seen here: http://screencast.com/t/MajmvFXWGR
You might try to clear your cache as well after you add the code.
Thanks.
Hello,
we do not have untested plugins. The problem does not exist when having wp super cache disabled. We were wondering whether there is something we didn’ t configure correctly, is there something besides what is described in the link https://forum.tagdiv.com/cache-plugin-install-and-configure/ ?
Thank you
Hello ihora,
Until now, we do not have bad reports about Wp super cache regarding this case. Please ensure that this issue does not come from your untested plugins which you are using to your site. Please try to disable all the active plugins, leave just Visual Composer and WP super cache, clear all cache and install only the plugins that come bundled with our theme and rule out the conflicting plugins. It is necessary to follow this advice because if you are used untested plugins these could interfere with the theme and create some errors in the theme.
Hope this helps and let us know how it goes!
Thanks.
Hi,
Please read the above conversation on ‘special’ characters and the system status parameters and try the solutions mentioned here.
Another thing you can try is to disable all plugins except visual composer, clear cache and try your sidebars again to rule out a plugin conflict.
Let us know if you still cannot get them to display properly.
Thank you!
Hello!
We followed the instructions mentioned here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/cache-plugin-install-and-configure/ to configure wp super cache in our wordpress site (version 4.4.2).
But we have a problem with posts/articles. When we publish an article, it isn’ t displayed in homepage. If we delete cache or disable the plugin, it is displayed. Can you help please?
Kind regards
Hi Andrei,
Thanks to your explanations, we found out that it was a cache problem. After purging CloudFlare, everything went back to normal.:)
Hi,
I have gone back to wp-engine about my cdn affecting my plugin and they said :
I’ve looked over the link you provided and those setting look to be specific to Cloudflare. I see the domain name is using the WP Engine CDN; I reviewed the link fully but I didn’t see any comparable settings I could adjust on our CDN for you.
For caching issues, we can set a cache exclusion on our end. This will prevent our server from caching the page and deliver an up to date version. We would need to know the specific URL this issue occurs on in order to set the exclusion. If the issue is specific to the theme, the theme developer may already know which paths this needs to be done for.
If you can let us know what paths to exclude, we’ll be happy to do so. Please let me know if you have any additional questions.
And then
You would need to work with the theme developer to see if there’s a particular cookie or argument that can be excluded from caching that perhaps controls the random menu. If so, we can certainly exclude that, but we cannot exclude the entire homepage.
I look forward to a answer on this

Hello thoronews,
I have checked on my side with the latest version of the theme and this option appears, as you can see here -> http://screencast.com/t/Ve8pJQIO36 Please ensure that this issue does not come from your untested plugins. Please try to disable all the active plugins, leave just Visual Composer, clear all cache and install only the plugins that come bundled with our theme and rule out conflicting plugins.
Hope this helps and let us know how it goes!
Thank you for the message!
Hi
I’ve checked your site and found some js errors in browser’s console: http://screencast.com/t/vVMskwa2aeI2 Also I’ve noticed that you’re using the child theme. Make sure that the changes made in child theme don’t affect main theme functionality, also try to deactivate all plugins except Visual Composer, clear all caches and test again.
Let me know how it goes.
Thanks!
Hi
I’ve checked your site and the featured images are displayed fine now: http://screencast.com/t/E0FIYlulUued However I found some js errors in browser’s console: http://screencast.com/t/dLe4SVsCa These errors could be caused by some plugins which conflict with theme’s js. Try to deactivate all plugins except Visual Composer, clear all caches then test your site again.
Let me know how it goes.
Thanks!
Hello Marto,
I suppose it is a time difference on your side. Please ensure that you have correct set your timezone from your WordPress and also please make sure that you local time are the same with your real time, from this -> http://screencast.com/t/r74r1y2MATM I have checked the code from this feature and the function which compare the time uses local time. Also, please try to disable all the active plugins, leave just Visual Composer, clear all cache and install only the plugins that come bundled with our theme and rule out the conflicting plugins.
Hope this helps and let us know how it goes!
Thank you for the message!
Hello,
The mobile back-end should work properly. Please disable all your plugins except visual composer, clear cache and reset cdn files if you use it. There could be a plugin conflict that interferes with the mobile version.
Let us know how it goes.
Thank you!
Hello,
I can confirm that it is working. All the options were tested properly and we have found no issues with the new update. I just tested the background ad again and it works as expected. Please disable all your plugins except for visual composer, clear cache and reset cdn files. You most likely have a plugin conflict that interferes with the background ad.
Let us know how it goes.
Thank you!
Hello,
Please disable all your plugins except visual composer, clear cache and reset cdn if you use it. This is most likely a plugin conflict. (I’m not sure about your second part of the message: “What I want is configured to load the background even mobile and tablet version.” Please try to explain better.)
Let us know how it goes.
Thank you!
Hi
First of all we specifies in our documentation that when a cache plugin it’s used the ajax post view counter must be enabled: https://forum.tagdiv.com/newsmag-ajax-view-count/ Also as a cache plugin we recommend wp super cache: https://forum.tagdiv.com/cache-plugin-install-and-configure/
The unique article option check the page only at first load and make sure that there aren’t displayed duplicate posts. However the unique article does not control the ajax pagination so if you click on next/prev buttons there is a chance to appear duplicate posts. If among the popular posts are some posts which are already displayed when page it’s firs time loaded then these posts won’t be displayed. If you use next/prev buttons the posts will be displayed because as I said above unique article feature won’t check the post loaded with ajax.
Thanks!
Hello guadaltech,
Please ensure that your website is not affected by the plugin’s interferences with the theme. Please try to disable all the active plugins, leave just Visual Composer, clear all cache and install only the plugins that come bundled with our theme and rule out the conflicting plugins. It is necessary to do this because your untested plugins could cause some errors in the theme and could modify the functionality of this type of post template.
Hope this helps and let us know how it goes!
If your problem is still there after these changes, please provide your website URL so I can further inspect the issue and so I will be able to provide a more accurate response.
Thank you for the message!
Hello,
Please try to disable all plugins except for visual composer, clear cache and reset cdn files if you use it. Then make sure you have all the thumbs selected and run the regenerate thumbnails again. Then , clear cache and reset cdn files again to ensure the settings apply. If you still cannot get them to display, please provide a link to your website so we can inspect it. If you want to send it in private, you can do so via contact@tagdiv.com.
Thank you!
… just would to add maybe an useful information for you: we are also using the W3 Total cache plugin: may this also be involved in this issue?
Should I enable the Ajax view count in the theme Post settings?

Hi,
Please disable all your plugins except visual composer. clear cache and reset cdn files if you use it. Your problem is specific to the layer slider plugin that seems to conflict with visual composer but remove all of them first to see if VC works fine on it’s own, then identify the plugin that causes the issue.
Thank you!
Hello kleitonfranck,
I saw and your e-mail and my advice is the same for your both requests and is the following -> please try to disable all the active plugins, because I saw that you are using a lot of untested plugins, leave just Visual Composer, clear all cache and install only the plugins that come bundled with our theme and rule out the conflicting plugins. Also, please consult your hosting provider and check if your server is right installed and if it has the right version of PHP installed. Also, please consult our list of requirements in order to achieve the good result, here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/requirements-for-newspaper/ If your problem is still there about these changes, please try to reinstall your WordPress and then you should try to make a fresh install. We recommend you doing a fresh install via FTP by following this tutorial: https://forum.tagdiv.com/install-via-ftp/ Your settings will not be affected as they are stored in the database. Simply download the latest version of the theme again and install it directly and see if your fonts work. Also, please try to consult your hosting provider and check to not being some errors caused by the server.
Hope this helps and let us know how it goes!
P.S On the future, please try to write to us only in the English language because this is the official language on this forum.
Thank you for your understanding!
Hello PedroMiguelMoreira,
I have checked your website and I did not saw any problems with your logo. If your problem reappears, please try to disable all the active plugins, leave just Visual Composer, clear all cache and install only the plugins that come bundled with our theme and rule out the conflicting plugins. It could be an error caused by your untested plugins which might interfere with the theme.
Hope this helps and let us know how it goes!
Thank you for the message!
Hi Catalin
Thanks for the reply. I just did what you said, I disabled all the plugins, activated only Visual Composer and cleared all cache on the website, but the issue still occurs. đ
Are there any other ways to check the possible problem?
Thank you so much!
