Hi @abccom
We recommend WP Super Cache as a cache plugin and here you can check our documentation regarding its setup: https://forum.tagdiv.com/cache-plugin-install-and-configure/
Thanks!
Hi
The menu it’s hidden because of an external css applied on its container. This css seams to be inherited in menu’s html structure. If you made any changes in header file try to revert them then test again. Also try o deactivate all plugins except Visual Composer, clear all caches and test again.
If you still manage to solve this issue use this css in theme panel > custom code > custom css: http://screencast.com/t/EVxtobc4jPtR
.td-header-main-menu{
visibility: visible!important;
}
Let me know how it goes.
Thanks!
Hello simply4net,
Please try to disable all plugins except visual composer, clear your cache and reset CDN if you use it. It could be a plugin conflict that is causing the sidebars to disappear. Also, check if you have any special characters in the sidebar you created. WP only allows standard characters. Non-language specific ones or symbols such as !@#$%^&. Even – or _ sometimes caused issues.
Let us know how it goes.
Thank you!
Hello HeinzT,
Until now, we do not have any bad reports about social icons in Top Bar. I have tested on my side and everything seems to work as expected. Please try to disable all the active plugins, leave just Visual Composer, clear all cache and instal only the plugins that come bundled with our theme and rule out the conflicting plugins…that could be the cause in this regard.
Hope this helps and let us know how it goes!
Thank you for the message!
Thanks guys for picking this up.
More importantly I would like to make clear the following. When a post on social media is being received very well, you create an ability (This is not rocket-science) to predict a certain amount of views.
When almost overnight these views (of the article-counter, not the facebook counter)is tumbling down by +/- 80 % there must be a problem with the theme. I understand each social media post will not redirect the same amount of traffic. In other words, for example, 50 retweets of a Tweet will not always redirect the same number of link clicks to the specific article. But after approximately 10 posts on the site to see the views go down by 80% on each post suggests that something is wrong. I hope this is what is being tested.
Additionally, yes we cleaned cache and we are testing it this week. Hope it has been solved.
Have a great week guys!
Thank you Andrei for your quick response.
In Newsmag system status I found “No caching plugin detected” Should I instal a plugin to clear caches or can I do it from the theme panel? If so where can I find it?
Thanks,
Jerzy
Hi
This usually happens because of lazy load animation which’s script conflict with one of your installed plugins. Try to deactivate the animation from theme panel > template settings: http://screencast.com/t/YfRwIXkEWam7 clear all caches and test again. Also you can try to deactivate all plugins except Visual Composer and check if the problem is still there.
Let me know how it goes.
Thanks!
Hi,
Please disable any plugins you might have. Simply leave visual composer active and clear your cache. Then activate the theme. If the problem is still there without other plugins, then please make a copy of the error log and send us an email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide wp-admin and ftp access (as well as the error log) and as many details as you can about the issue. Please also include a link to this topic so we can identify you quicker.
Thank you!
Hi
This could be a cache issue as the theme is tested and the option which remove the background image works fine. Try to deactivate all plugins except Visual Composer, clear all caches then test the site again.
If you still can manage to solve this issue please provide your site url so I can inspect it closer.
Thanks!
Hi
This could be a cache issue so try to clear all caches and test the site again.
If you still can’t manage to solve this issue pleas provide your site url so I can inspect it closer.
Thanks!
Hello,
Please try to deactivate ALL plugins except visual composer, clear cache and reset cdn if you use it. this could be a plugin conflict so try it without plugins and let us know if the problem is still there afterwards.
Thank you!
Hello fametaxi,
This kind of issue might be caused by the interference between untested plugins and also, it could be possible to appear some js errors in your console. Please try to disable all the active plugins, except Visual Composer, clears all cache and install only the plugins that come bundled with our theme and rule out the conflicting plugins. I have tested on my side and everything seems to work as expected, as you can see in our demo preview that this issue does not come from our theme.
If you need more assistance in this regard after my advice and if you problem is still there, please provide your website URL so I can further inspect the issue.
Hope this helps!
Thank you for the message!
I did follow the steps. Enable the Ajax option and then cleared the cache.
If I’m going manually it’s updating the views and I can see the number increase.
Yet I still think that there is an issue here as the views are still lower.
Even more there is that gap between the Facebook clicks and post views.
On Facebook I can see on my post how many times users clicked on post which is redirecting to the post site.
That number is higher that the post views reported in WordPress.
Hello,
Are you sure you don;t have this option disabled: http://screencast.com/t/nGi4es4Yy1
I cannot find the code for the icons in your website. If this option is checked and it still will not appear, then please try to disable all your plugins except visual composer, clear your cache and reset cdn if you use it.
If the problem is still there afterwards, please send us an email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide wp-admin so we can take a look. Also provide a link to this topic so we can identify you.
Thank you!
I uploaded a php.ini file:
max_input_vars = 5000
max_execution_time = 300
post_max_size = 50M
memory_limit = 256M
My php and SQLdatabase is
MYSQL Version 5.1.73
PHP Version 5.3.3
I have super cache plugin in place.
The second I activated the theme, my site become inaccessible. CPU shoot up to roof!
Hello,
Basically your problems from 1 to 5 are all related to the same problem. Please disable all plugins except visual composer and clear your cache (also reset cdn if you use it). These issues are often plugin conflicts. Not all plugins are compatible with premium themes as the code is custom.(plugins are created on the default WP code)
If these issues only appear in the child theme, then please try to recreate it and use the one that comes with the theme: http://screencast.com/t/AtA0saskv7bR
your last question is a different matter. It is a known problem that will get fixed in a future version of the theme. Until then, there is a workaround. Please follow this topic to see how it can be done:

Thank you!
Hello,
It seems that for some reason some of your images lose their responsiveness. Is there anything different to these images than the ones that work? Do they have a different implementation?.
If you use image plugins, please try to remove them (If you use photon of jetpack, it is known to cause issues)
Please try to disable all plugins except visual composer, clear cache and reset cdn files if you use it and check your images again.
Let us know if the problem is still there.
Thank you!
Try clearing cache, or turn off caching, resave permalinks, turn off all plugins except visual composer to figure out what might be causing issue with latest version of WP (not all plugins are updated to work with WP 4.2x and break things!).
@andrei_luca, can you be more clear about what you need me to provide? Is wp-access a file? And where can I find it? As for my login credentials, do you mean what I input to login into the backend of my WordPress site?
I tried clearing the cache (the caching plugin I’m using gave me a 504 error when I tried to delete the plugin’s cache so I just went and cleared my computer’s cache and cookies) and made sure the blocks weren’t offset, and they’re not.
Hello Sandman,
This issue maybe comes from incompatibility between untested plugins and our theme. Please try to disable all the active plugins, leave just Visual Composer, clear all cache and install only the plugins that come bundled with our theme and rule out the conflicting plugins.
Hope this helps and let us know how it goes!
Thank you for the message!
Hello,
@jurisss I just tested this feature on my end again but i cannot recreate this issue. Please try to disable all your plugins except visual composer, clear your cache and reset cdn files if you use it. If the problem does not go away after that, please send us an email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide wp-amin so we can take a look at the issue. Also include a link to this topic so we can identify you.
Thank you!
Hello Fred-B,
First of all, please try to disable all the active plugins, leave just Visual Composer, clear cache and install only the plugins that come bundled with our theme and rule out the conflicting plugins. After this advice, check your website again and if your problem is still there, please provide your website URL so I can further inspect the issue.
Hope this helps and let us know how it goes!
Thank you for the message!
Hi
This issue occurred after WordPress released V 4.4.1 but we updated the theme and now the pagination works fine. Try to update the theme at the current version available on themeforest, V2.3.5: https://forum.tagdiv.com/newsmag-how-to-update-the-theme/ deactivate all plugins except Visual Composer, clear all caches and test again.
Let me know how it goes.
Thanks!
Hi,
If a sub-domain works and your main one does not, it seems there is another problem stopping the pagination from working properly. Maybe it’s some modifications you made in the code, or a js minification.
As for the w3 total cache, we do not recommend it as it created some issues with our theme. The recommended cache plugin is wp super cache.
Please try to revert your main site to the default state (as much as you can) so you can narrow down the search.
Sorry for not having a precise answer but at this point only you can identify the issue as it is clearly not theme related, but specific to your case.
Thank you!
Hello adarsh,
This kind of issue is surely plugin related. Please try to disable all the active plugin, except Visual Composer, clear all cache and install only the plugins that come bundled with our theme and rule out the conflicting plugins.
Hope this helps and let us know how it goes!
Thank you for thme message!
