It was the weirdest conflict with google tag manager plugin.. I tried disabling all plugins before but probably forgot to empty cache or something and quickly moved on to search issue elsewhere.
I had to change few tracking settings and now it seems to work perfectly with all cloudflare settigs enabled 🙂

I found some errors on your site: http://screencast.com/t/AqybPxhu9 which conflicts with theme’s js and breaks the search and other js features. Try deactivate all plugins except Visual Composer, clear the cache, purge the cdn files if you’re using, and test the site again.

Please check this without any plugins active except of Visual Composer, clear cache and see if you still have this error, also disable any js/css minifications and deactivate also cloudflare. Like I said there was an issue with smooth scroll but it was fixed in the latest version. Please make sure that you have updated your theme properly, also you can try to do this via FTP to make sure that all the modified files are overwritten – https://forum.tagdiv.com/install-via-ftp/

Please make sure that you did the update properly as is indicated in this guide: https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-theme/ and also try to clear the cache and deactivate all plugins except Visual Composer, purge the cdn files and test again. We recommend WP Super Cache plugin to be used with Newspaper theme and use it on default just page cache. Also please note that if you use cloudflare’s rocketloader is know to cause issues when used with the theme as we haven’t tested the theme’s resources using it.

Please disable all the plugins, leave just Visual Composer active, clear cache and purge your files if you use CDN then check if you still have this issue on mobile as the theme doesn’t add this(you can check our demo on youe decvice – http://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper/ ). Also you can check if your server doesn’t redirect on another page on mobile.

Hey Guys im trying to configure the wp-super-cache with the website but i think i may not be doing it right, for some reason im experiencing high disk i/o rates on my server maybe im not doing something right could you offer support on the most optimal way to configure the plugin with my site

Not sure why you have this issue, we recommend WP Super Cache to be used on default settings just page cache, no minifications. Also please make sure that you clear cache and purge your files.

Please install version 4 on localhost or a test site and import Cafe stack so all fonts and colors are imported. I did not found any issues changing the fonts for each section of the theme. You can check browser console for errors, leave only Visual Composer active and clear cache.

Unfortunately we did not tested this plugin with our theme, so I cannot make any suggestions about this, you may need custom modifications to implement the plugin. Anyway you can disable all plugins, leave only Visual Composer and Nextgen active, clear cache and check if you still have this issue, maybe it is in a conflict with another plugin.

I have the same problem, but even after refreshing my cache, I still don’t have the images. If I click on them it will lead me to an external media file with the image, but they don’t display unless clicked on
The issue is cosing your cache/minify plugin. Try disabling js minify and similar stuff regarding js.
If the issue continue do the same for css.
Don’t forget to clear your cache after changing settings.
Hi, as good as it is, pagespeed topics are always good to read.
Me, I respect do work going on here, but I do have something to add about pagespeed in general.
Chris and Ing Geek have some nice stuff here, I managed to get my demo newspaper content to 86/80 on GT Metrix, 61/80 on google insights, etc… and all that without Wp Super cache, or Wp rocket.
Included with those two caching plugins I managed to get above 94/90 on GTMETRIX, and 82/82 with google.
Somehow I managed to stumble on great plugin called WP Super Simple Speed.
This plugin alone, got me above 90s in GTM, and 72/86 (if i remember corectly) on Google insights.
When i included WP rocket… my website flew. I think it was something like 98/94 on gtmetrix, and above 90s in google.
But my images were not loading corectly bc of wp rockets js minify and stuff with css.
In general Expirience was awesome.
I tried to combine stuff, but i am not nearly done with testings (doing alot of combinations for 2 days) so I could use some help with this.

Might try
a) clearing chrome cache completely (MUST be done manually)
b) hit F5 / refresh when on your admin screen.
Sometimes works for me with weirdo ajax stuff in Chrome.
Whenever I do hard refresh(delete cache) on any browser the first image doesn’t show.
At first I thought issue is with cloudflares rocketloader but then I disabled it + disabled cf’s mirrage/polish and deleted cache but it still doesn’t work.
I also tried disabling all plugins and turning them on one by one(starting with visual composer) but it doesn’t work.
2: Clicking exit(X) button on more stories widget also doesn’t work.
What’s wrong? I am out of ideas 🙂

I have the latest Newspaper theme update v6.3.
I am having issues in locating the Social Counter plugin and the Ad Box element.
I do have both loaded in the widgets section under the appearance tab. When
I create a new page and want to add the Social Counter or the Ad Box, I do not see it in the Add Elements box.
F.Y.I. yes, I have cleared cache. I have turned off other plugins. Any help would be appreciated.

When I activate the “WP Super Cache” plugin, the issue is happened.
I’m familiar with WP Super Cache plugin, so is there an available solution for this plugin?
This happens when you use a CDN. I fixed this issue a while back. If I remember, I went to the W3 Total Cache CDN settings page and removed *.css and/or *.js from one of the fields there.
There’s probably a better solution. I never spent time to find out.
Backup your settings before you change them.
