I’m having issues using Classic Blog Pro where the mobile version is showing both the Classic Blog Pro responsive mobile design and Mobile Theme at various times. I’ve tried clearing my cache plug-in along with asking my host to clear their CDN cache, but both versions are still showing up.
I notice a “td_cache” subfolder under my “public_html” > “wp-content” folder. Could this have anything to do with it? Is it needed or can I remove this? It looks like it contains an index.html file and a css folder with another indiex.html file inside it.
I want to use Classic Pro Desktop with Mobile Theme for mobile view.
We have been running a number of our WordPress site on our Windows server for some years now. Just installed the Newspaper/Video News theme and Super Cache and it is giving me msg:
“Warning! C:\inetpub\wwwroot\metals.onlineinvestmentconference.com/wp-content is writeable!
You should change the permissions on C:\inetpub\wwwroot\metals.onlineinvestmentconference.com/wp-content and make it more restrictive. Use your ftp client, or the following command to fix things: chmod 755 C:\inetpub\wwwroot\metals.onlineinvestmentconference.com/wp-content/
This page explains how to change file permissions.”
Since we are not on Linux server, we can’t change using Linux commands.
Can we make this theme work properly hosted on Windows? Like I say, we run a number of sites using WordPress on Windows no problem.
Ideas?
Hello!
Please make sure that all the requirements are met as you can see here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/requirements-for-newspaper/ ; You will have to first start looking for a plugin conflict. please deactivate ALL plugins except tagDiv ones, also clear all cache and try again.
Try to remove and re-install the tagDiv Composer plugin.
Also we have a guide for how to investigate this problem and fix it: https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-composer-not-working/

Hello,
Please follow our guide: https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-social-counter-tutorial-2/
For Youtube please check if you have set the Youtube API in Theme Panel -> Social Networks => https://www.screencast.com/t/sJMmQsPfd
Unfortunately, our team is working on the Instagram issue, but you can set the Instagram fixed count with tagDiv Composer => https://www.screencast.com/t/In8UL9Q92n until the issue is resolved.
Also, if the problem persists and you use a plugin cache, then clear all cache and check the results.
Normally without a cache plugin, it should update ones per day, with a cache plugin it can take some more time.
Hope this helps you!
Thank you!
Hello !
I have searched the e-mails too but couldn’t find anything relevant from other users to match our issue here. In Autoptimize from what I can see on our demos only this option is enabled: https://www.screencast.com/t/EzN0exRLy0pm
After you enable this make sure to clear your cache. Also if you use CDN I would wait 24-48hours to see if something has changed.
I hope this was helpful and let us know the result !
Thank you !

If you use mobile pages, then please edit the mobile page with TagDiv Composer and then you will have the same settings as desktop version.

Hi, two editors of my site have two reports.
The problem is with the metaboxes present in new / edit post.
In one case the “featured video” and “featured audio” metabox are displayed after the article text, under “post settings”.
In another case the “post settings” metabox is displayed on the right bar, before “Featured video”.
Metaboxes are movable on their own column. It is not possible to move a metabox present on the right sidebar, in the left column (under the post text).
This problem is only present with your theme’s metaboxes and some specific users. Even after you clear your browser cache (or in incognito mode).
This problem occurred after the last update of your 10.4 theme. In the previous version I never had this problem.
I currently use WordPress version 5.6.2 (5.7 has a problem with authors, known to wp developers).
How can I solve?
Have you had similar reports?
Thank you
Hello!
Please make sure your WordPress, TagDiv plugins are up to date.
Also, make sure that all the settings are like in our requirements, please follow the guide carefully: https://forum.tagdiv.com/requirements-for-newspaper/

If you are using a cache plugin, deactivate it, clear all cache(also from your browser) and try again.
Also, please check what version of PHP you have, we recommend version 7.

Hello,
I think so, the best solution is to clear the cache from time to time from the Nginx, (if you want to use that cache).
Thank you!

Hello,
Normally it should update automatically, but if you have a cache plugin on the server, clear all cache(also from your browser) and try again. Now for looks like this => https://www.screencast.com/t/gCj0oEv6m0d -> https://www.screencast.com/t/CKnpMNh6ag

Hello,
In most cases when you get a similar message “ Error at zones: 6(models): 2(dom).The model does not match the content Current state has involved an issue. You could try an UNDO operation (CTRL+Z / CTRL+SHIFT+Z)” then indeed it is a problem, most of the time the problem is from a shortcode that is not compatible with our theme, therefore after you set it with tagDiv Composer and save the page/cloud template, the next time when you try to edit it, you’ll get that error.
For this error, you can check our guide from here at point 5 -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-composer-not-working/
Also, this page was created with tagDiv composer or did you use another page builder?
Sometimes this problem can also be due to a conflict the plugins, that’s why, please deactivate ALL plugins except tagDiv ones, also if you are using a child theme or cache plugin, deactivate them, clear all cache and try again.
Let me know the results!
Thank you!
Hello,
In the future, don’t leave your credentials on the forum, I deleted them for you.
For log out => https://www.screencast.com/t/nTQ2k9y2k please set the First level left position to 0 and the menu padding 0px 0px, then you need only to clear your cache and you should have no more problems.
For me, the mobile menu looks like this => https://www.screencast.com/t/jtlf8CHbYYN I think is the right look.
Thank you!
Hello,
Please remove(not hide) the text logo, and try again to add the image logo, also, clear your cache.
Thank you!
Yes, when I clear cache in nginx it works ok. But after some time, if Nginx caching is Enabled it’s going back to the mobile theme on the desktop?
Hello,
The cache may cause problems with unrecognized mobile theme plugins and mobile page and what version it should display.
Please try to clear also, that cache.
Thank you!

Hello,
You need to add the favicon, in Theme Panel -> Header -> Logo and Favicon => https://www.screencast.com/t/H4ucPC2wwz
