Hi,

The whole homepage seems to be displaying posts from June and July, even though there is newer content that I can see upon using the block pagination
https://www.screencast.com/t/8RPdXdwu
https://www.screencast.com/t/sl5oLrEzEFJF
The category pages also displays posts from around that period of time
https://www.screencast.com/t/XIdyoaWcy
If this is caching it is pretty strong caching. That would also explain why logged users do not have this problem, while visitors get served with cached pages. Exactly the same content is displayed, refreshing the page will not matter.
Please contact the hosting provider and describe the problem. The server might have it’s own caching implemented, if you do not have caching installed. Deactivate it and install your own, or maybe configure it different if possible.

Thanks

Hello,

This could be a plugin conflict so please disable all plugins except the page builder, clear cache and reset cdn files if you use it. Please also check any custom code you might have added to the theme panel or the theme files. If you use a child theme, please switch to the main theme to make sure it does not affect the proper functionality of the theme.

Thank you!

If the problem is still there, try to reinstall the theme as your file structure could be damaged. Please create a back-up beforehand though.

Hi,

Minification plugins can cause issue for all themes. Either by incompatibility or configuration. If that plugin is causing problems, it would be best not to use it. There are other ways of optimizing the website. You can search here on the forum for more information, there are many tutorials in this matter. Some examples

I have a page which I’m trying to edit with the TD Composer but I only see the menu on the left, the whole right side of the composer is entirely blank. I believe I’ve found a bug of some sort.

I’ve tried:
– Disabling all plugins
– Clearing cache
– Using different browsers

Also, my Statuses on the “page=td_system_status” page are all green except for caching which I am not currently using,

If I delete this page and try to recreate the page with the same permalink (e.g. /my-page) the issue continues. Is TD Composer caching a deleted permalink or something and getting confused (I believe I deleted this page once before)? I need access to this permalink so I can’t change it. I’ve also tried changing permalink settings and then putting them back with no joy.

I have found the following errors in the error_log:
PHP message: PHP Notice: Trying to get property of non-object in /var/www/fat.so/htdocs/wp-includes/post.php on line 1634
PHP message: PHP Notice: Trying to get property of non-object in /var/www/fat.so/htdocs/wp-admin/edit-form-advanced.php on line 263

These seem to point to post_type, I tried setting the page to draft and TD Composer works! As soon as I publish the page again it stops working.

Would appreciate some further help trying to fix this issue.

Thanks

Hi,

The Yoast SEO plugin should not cause issue like this. This plugin is recommended to be used with the theme.
Please try to install the mobile theme plugin provided in the topic above, and also install the Yoast SEO plugin. Clear any installed cache and check to see if it works properly.

Thanks

Hello virgboggie,

1)Errors happened during tdcIframeData.init() -> bindViewsModelsWrappers()!
Please do not use this setting in Seo by Yoast:
https://www.screencast.com/t/n8Cc35EofLh Also, if you are using the WP Super Cache plugin, please ensure that has been right setup according to our documentation here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/cache-plugin-install-and-configure/

2)Also, the third important rule is to do not edit a page which was created with Visual Composer with TD Composer.
Also, I have inspected your website and I saw that you are using some untested plugins which can interact with the theme core files and causes a lot of unknown issues like this.
For more information about how you should use our page builder incorrect way on our theme, please check the following useful tutorial here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/visual-composer-tagdiv-composer-transition/ -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-composer-tutorial-2/

Clear all the caches and check the results.

Thanks for your understanding!

I was editing my homepage in in tagDiv when I suddenly got this error message: Errors happened during tdcIframeData.init() -> bindViewsModelsWrappers()! I have deactivated all the plugins except tagDiv Composer and tagDiv Social Counter, and have cleared my Caches, but am still getting this message. Hope you can help.

Chrome has built in ad blocking being tested, depending on your settings and version and locale.

Check your Chrome version and settings, as most likely cause. Try clearing history/cache in Chrome, and make sure you have latest update.

Currently working on a staging site with our current site’s content. Adjusting featured images and layout and now my featured images are all blurry. I have disabled plugins and cleared cache as I found on other forums and this option did not work. Help?

Good suggestion, but nothing is being cached either. This appears to be a tagDiv editor issue as the editor must be changing the title so that it’s not reflected in the saved document.

In fact, I just reviewed the document’s source and I see the following:
<div class=”td-main-content-wrap td-container-wrap”>
<div class=”td-container td-blog-index “>
<div class=”td-crumb-container”>
<div class=”entry-crumbs”>
<span>

Home

</span>

<i class=”td-icon-right td-bread-sep td-bred-no-url-last”>
</i>

<span class=”td-bred-no-url-last”>
Blog
</span>

My title is “Articles” in the document.
See image:

Any other suggestions?

Hi,

If the theme system status is set according to the guide, there should be no problem using the composer, unless something else is interfering.
Please deactivate all plugins except theme plugins, clear any installed cache and create a new page. Test the tagDiv composer and see if it works properly on the created page.
Do not edit pages built with Visual composer, using the tagDiv composer. If you use the Yoast SEO plugin make sure this option is disabled
https://www.screencast.com/t/n8Cc35EofLh
Also, if you are using the WP Super Cache plugin, please ensure that has been right setup according to our documentation here

Hi,

The ads seem to be present in the page structure, but they are not displayed
https://www.screencast.com/t/O5zmOZbJ1XTa
The ads are not served by Google for some reason. Here are some troubleshooting guides that you can follow, and also more useful information
https://support.google.com/adsense/answer/1208336?hl=en
https://productforums.google.com/forum/#!topic/adsense/wuWx-49ZOzU
You could try as well to deactivate all plugins except theme plugins, clear the browser cache and check if this has any effect.

Thanks

Hello,

I got this error message, ‘Errors happened during tdcIframeData.init() -> bindViewsModelsWrappers()!’
when I was editing the shop page with tagDiv Composer.

Hello,

From what I can tell you want to show a custom post type in a standard category. A custom post type has a custom taxonomy as well.. Only posts with a post type of ‘post’ can show under the taxonomy called a ‘category’
The plugin you use is not tested so i cannot say for sure if the plugin will work properly with our theme or not.

The only tested and recommended plugins to use with our theme are these ones:

WP Super Cache- caching plugin
Contact form 7- used to make contact forms
bbPress- forum plugin
BuddyPress- social network plugin
Font Awesome 4 Menus- icon pack, supported in the theme menus
Jetpack- plugin with lots of features *it may slow down your site
WooCommerce- eCommerce solution
WordPress (Yoast) SEO- SEO plugin
Wp User Avatar- Change users avatars
WPML – multilingual plugin

Anything beyond this list is not tested and I cannot say for sure if it will work or not.

Thank you for your understanding.

Hello majorfuss,

2)If you will use the Infinite scroll+Load More you will see that the Load More button will appear on you frontend after some few posts.
3)With above code, notice that you can change the main menu background color, as you can see here -> https://www.screencast.com/t/f0TQMMya8rM if is not what you mean, please provide more details or some useful screenshots.
4)Sorry, but please notice that is the default theme behavior. You should optimize your images for a fast loading of theme and this thing depends only on your coding skills and not theme related, sorry!
6)I have inspected your website and I saw that your breadcrumbs structure is not good on your side. It should look like this -> https://www.screencast.com/t/UffEvsYffmcK Try to disable all of the untested plugins if you are using something like this, clear all the caches and check the results. Also, if the problem is still there, try to make a new clean install from scratch and check the results.

Thanks for your understanding!

Hi,

Please provide a link to your website so we can inspect it. The content that is displayed on pages in block and grids, is dependent on the sorting option that is selected. But that would display the same content regardless of being logged or not.
Something is interfering and causing the issue. Try deactivating all plugins except theme plugins and check to see if this has any effect.
Also make inquiries to the hosting provider and see if there is any server side cache. This is common these days.

Thanks

Hello Chris and Bogdan.

Unfortunately i do not use any cache plugins so this can’t be the problem. When i am logged into admin, everything seems working perfectly. But when i logout of the admin and visit my website, the front page show post from last July 2017, after that nothing, and we update everyday as it is a news website.

As for updating the latest version, i see comments for other who experience more problems after updating, that is why i feel reluctant to upgrade.

Hi,

I’m not using cache plugin so that its not the problem. About the other two things that you mention I tried but still is not showing the ads from the theme panel but its showing the ads with html ot text widget. The codes are the same. You can check on homepage and in a post.

Thanks,
Alex

Hello,

I guess that you have selected a wrong size for your AdSense and that’s why this padding appears on your frontend, sorry! Please check again your Theme panel, AdSense spot and try to select one of these values for your AdSense, like this -> https://www.screencast.com/t/IR8rc1cf Clear all the caches and check the results.

Thanks for your understanding!
