I have removed the text and added the image, but the size cannot be adjusted. When I add a width, it does nothing and when I return to the page it has defaulted to ‘auto’. When I try to delete an element in the header that I don’t want (eg the social icons), the screen goes dark and opaque and freezes, nothing is deleted.

This should not happen, there may be a plugin conflict on your website. please deactivate ALL plugins except tagDiv ones, also if you are using child theme or cache plugin, deactivate them, clear all cache and try again.

Can you provide a screenshot of your editor and show us what you are looking to change and how?

On posts you will have to use cloud library templates that are fully editable using tagDiv Composer: https://forum.tagdiv.com/design-post-pages-using-cloud-library-templates/ Once the templated installed you can open it using tagDiv Composer and remove the feature image element ( right click on it and delete )

You can import multiple templates and design each one to fit your taste. Each post can have only 1 design and it has to be set manually as you can see here: https://www.screencast.com/t/emXJrV3dO

The recommended image sizes are 800x600px or 1920x1080px this will create the image ratio that is needed.

Hi riminisparita, as long you do not made changes in theme files or theme plugins, there will be no problems to make the theme update, the theme panel setting are saved in database.

If you are using WordPress v5.5, you must use the last version of Newspaper theme too, only this will work on this version of WordPress.
Also if you already have Newspaper 10.3.6.1 and you have this problem, then try the below steps:
1. Disable tagDiv Composer -> https://i.imgur.com/uzBdRB9.png
2. delete tagDiv Composer -> https://i.imgur.com/xGGfYE7.png
3. Reinstall tagDiv Composer -> https://i.imgur.com/Ay0zJHn.png or -> https://i.imgur.com/ZMgV9at.png
4. Clear all cache from your website, host and browser ( for browser use force refresh Ctrl Shift R ).
Usually the “Invalid reply from server endpoint error” is caused by insufficient WP_Memory_limit, if you’ll set it to 256M, and is still not working, please check the rest of settings from our guide.
Also make sure that all theme settings are as in our guide ->

and please increase all requirements that are lower, and follow all steps.
Also make sure that you are using https not http, also make sure that you have a good connection to internet.

2. For that you will have to use post templates from the cloud library: https://forum.tagdiv.com/design-post-pages-using-cloud-library-templates/ Those templates are fully editable using tagDiv Composer: https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-composer-tutorial/ and reproduce your layout as the homepage.

I just make a test with the child theme that is coming with newspaper v10.3.6.1 and for me the related articles section is displaying https://i.imgur.com/Qw24B2s.png -> https://i.imgur.com/1Qn02oL.png -> https://i.imgur.com/Hrn81Wy.png
If for you only when you activate the child theme this option is removed and deactivating the child theme make the section to reappear then can be from some settings that you have in the child.

Unfortunately in exact the same way you display it is possible only with custom work and changes.
Unfortunately I think that the Linkedin need to be set manually in theme templates.
For example the date can be display withe time, for this you can use this WordPress guide: -> https://wordpress.org/support/article/formatting-date-and-time/ the settings for date need to be set in -> https://i.imgur.com/rjY6WB0.png -> https://i.imgur.com/wKwDSVN.png -> https://i.imgur.com/kGpyy2C.png -> https://i.imgur.com/NY9swxL.png
To display the category in line with date time, you need to edit the single post you are using:
– if is the default one edit this file -> wp-content/plugins/td-composer/legacy/Newsmag/loop-single.php
– if is a post template from 1 to 8 edit these files -> wp-content/plugins/td-composer/legacy/Newsmag/parts/single
What you need to do is to more the category function after meta info -> https://i.imgur.com/iQgicIb.png -> https://i.imgur.com/bxGUEQp.png after that add this custom css in theme panel to make the elements to be inline -> https://i.imgur.com/fLp8FTA.png also these files can be set in a child theme -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-child-theme-support-tutorial/ in this your changes will not be lost when the update will be made.

I think that the problem depend on the files that you have set in child theme, if you set a file for posts/articles template, make sure that you set the file from standard pack -> wp-content/plugins/td-standard-pack/Newspaper/loop-single.php and single.php or from wp-content/plugins/td-standard-pack/Newspaper/parts/single
If there is still a problem, let me know the way you implement the child theme and what files you have in it.
