Hello,

This is a strange issue. Please disable all plugins except the page builder, clear cache and reset cdn files if you use it. Please also check any custom code you might have added to the theme panel or the theme files. If you use a child theme, please switch to the main theme to make sure it does not affect the proper functionality of the theme.

Thank you!

Hello TagDiv,
Hope you are doing great as all the time!

The theme and it’s child are installed and the child theme is active now.
When I active the plugin : td-multi-purpose
The wordpress dashboard and some part of the theme panel stay on loading or not loading like the font part!

Do u have any experience of this circumstances?

Best regards.
Rahim

Did you install the child theme, which is optional?

Hello,

1) If you perform a standard update, that will replace all the theme files so your customization will be lost. In each theme package, there is a patch folder that contains only the changed files between versions. If you use the patch and replace just the modified files, you can possibly avoid the replacement of the file if it has not been changed between versions. The child theme works in the same manner. There is no update proof way of altering the theme files.

2) Thank you for your suggestion. This request however will need to become more popular if we are to consider implementing such an option.

Thank you!

Hi,

It seems you have a responsiveness issue. Our theme is responsive by default so maybe you have a plugin that affects the responsiveness. please disable all plugins except the page builder, clear cache and reset cdn files if you use it. Please also check any custom code you might have added to the theme panel or the theme files. If you use a child theme, please switch to the main theme to make sure it does not affect the proper functionality of the theme.

Still not working, I also found og:image in the mobile header file…

I created a child theme, remove both instances in those files and there are still two og:image lines in the header.

any ideas? I’m at a loss. We have created infographics for each post and would like those to show up when people share rather than the plain image being used as the featured image on the site itself.

Hello everyone,

Is it possible (yes it is…) to change some of the social icons on the team member multipurpose widget. We are not using some of them and like to use it to add some team members special abilities by replacing that icon for those we created.

Many thanks for the help, I hope Simion will read this in his advise (child theme or not that is the question lol)

Hello Fabiano,

Please also test this without any plugins to make sure a plugin conflict is not affecting the theme panel.
Please disable all plugins except the page builder, clear cache and reset cdn files if you use it. Please also check any custom code you might have added to the theme panel or the theme files. If you use a child theme, please switch to the main theme to make sure it does not affect the proper functionality of the theme.

Thank you!

Hello,

Sorry but the mobile theme files will not work from the child theme. You can only make modifications in the main theme files.

Hello,

I suppose that your problem comes because your images are stuck in opacity 0. This usually happens on a js error caused by plugins or customization or other external optimization tools.

Please disable all plugins except visual composer, clear cache and reset CDN files if you use it. Please also check any custom code you might have added to the theme panel or the theme files. If you use a child theme, please switch to the main theme to make sure it does not affect the proper functioning of the theme.

Thank you!

Hello!

I made the upgrade to the latest version 8.5 but I can no longer add any Visual Composer elements. The popup opens, all the elements appear, but clicking any one of them does not happen. Now if I edit any component that was already on the page I usually get it.
I have uploaded again all the files of the theme, including the plugin and did not solve.
I also tried to disable all plugins leaving only Visual Composer and nothing. I currently use a child theme:

I look forward to a return as soon as possible.

Thank you!

Hi,

No need to create a child theme for simple theme customization. That is why the theme has the custom code sections in the theme panel
https://www.screencast.com/t/Iotpalkd
Code entered in any of these sections will not be lost after a theme update, so ther will be no risk of losing it. So simply enter the code in the Custom CSS box and save. The code will apply to the element.
If you want to learn more about child themes see this guide

Thanks

Hello Bogdan,

Thanks a lot for your support. Should I create a Child theme as this is change to the CSS base code?

Do I need to create the Child theme before I add your CSS code or after?

Thanks a lot 🙂

Hello,
The patch folder is meant for people who modify the theme files and do not want to replace all of the theme files when updating. The patch folder contains just the modified files in between versions.
As for the image issue, it could be a plugin conflict so please disable all plugins except the page builder, clear cache and reset cdn files if you use it. Please also check any custom code you might have added to the theme panel or the theme files. If you use a child theme, please switch to the main theme to make sure it does not affect the proper functionality of the theme.

Hi,

The post templates can be customized through the child theme
https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-child-theme-support-tutorial/
The difficult part would be to create this functionality for the featured image, if even possible. For example how would you set the link dynamically for each post image, I believe this would be highly difficult.

Thanks
