Hello,

I created a website using the Standard Pack plugin. Now I’d like to use the theme with the Cloud template Library. I was advised to do it on localhost or subdomain without the Standard Pack plugin enabled to change default elements by those of Cloud library templates.

How to assign them to replace the existing ones?

Please help me how to do it step by step practically.

Thanks

Hello!

You should try to modify the file from td-cloud-library/shortcodes/single/tdb_single_somments.php.
Please be careful what you modify, so as not to break anything.

Thank you!

Hello Team,

We are trying to enable infinite scroll on our single post.

For that we have created a cloud library template and enable the infinite scroll on it – but the problem we are facing is that – our default sidebar is not loading in that template.

Below are the two links the first one is our default template the original one which we are using and we want this one to be used with infinite scroll.

ORIGINAL POST: https://edtimes.in/meet-swami-sivananda-the-oldest-living-man-on-earth-124-years-old/

WITH INFINITE TEMPLATE: https://edtimes.in/infinite-load-meet-swami-sivananda-the-oldest-living-man-on-earth-124-years-old/ (No sidebar visible like the ORIGINAL POST)

In a simple explanation – we want to enable infinite scroll on all single pages with our existing template please help us.

Hello !

1. If you are using Cloud Library templates then the sidebar has to be created using tagDiv Composer as you can see here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fa7GenCHcBU&t=2s Cloud library templates are not following the Theme Panel settings.

2. Please provide a link to your website in order to inspect and see what can be done.

3. Let us know which font / piece of text you want to edit and we will take a look to provide a css code.

WP Bakery is only optional and if you are using cloud library template my recommendation is to not use it.

Please note that at the moment the Support team is not 24/7 available. We answer the topics from Latest to Newest Monday – Friday from 08:00AM to 05:00PM GMT+2 Multiple replies in your topic will make it harder for us to reach it.

Hello !

Indeed at the moment you are not able to have CPT and Cloud library templates working together.

You will need to use the child theme if you want to edit CPT.

Thank you !

Hello !

Can you let us know what your system status is ? Also please try and reinstall the Cloud library plugin and let us know the result.

Thank you !

Hello !

We have 2 types of post templates. The standard ones and Cloud library templates.

If you are using standard templates than all the modifications can be done only using the theme panel.

If you are using Cloud library templates ( Header, post template, any cloud template ) That is fully editable using tagDiv composer.

The cloud library templates will overrule the theme panel. Anything you want to edit must be done with tagDiv Composer.

My suggestion is to take a look at our video guides here: https://www.youtube.com/user/tagdiv

I hope this was helpful !

Thank you !

Hello,

If you want to change the color to a hyperlink inside a post (that is made with classic editor) then you can use the classic element and set the color like this http://prntscr.com/ooijd1 if you use Gutenberg this option isn’t available => https://wordpress.org/support/topic/changing-hyperlink-colour-in-gutenberg/
If you are referring to the element from a page, then you can edit it using the tagDiv Composer, click on the element and check the style tab http://prntscr.com/ooikok -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/flex-block-settings-guide/

or if you want to have the all hyperlinks on post to be underline you can use a custom css -> http://prntscr.com/opecdr
.single .td-pb-span8 .tdb_single_content a{
text-decoration: underline!important;
}

The code needs to be set in Theme panel -> Custom code -> Custom CSS and will apply on all post that has set a single post templates form Cloud Library

Theme colors introduction -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/theme-colors-introduction/

Thank you!

Hello,

To adjust the image size you need to use the style 1 => https://www.screencast.com/t/hOQT3Xn1Mx or if you want to have more control you can use the single post template from cloud library templates.

Thank you!

I seem to be facing 3 problems with newspaper theme.
1. The sidebar doesn’t appear on implementation of single post cloud library templates despite it being there in the template itself.
2. The LCP in speed test for mobile site is above 3 despite image compression and google will sooner or later have an issue with it.
3. Third is a request for a custom code to darken the subtitle text on mobile theme. I see an option to increase its weight in desktop version settings but not in mobile theme. So will appreciate a css code for that.

In order to make the site faster, I was trying to shift my post template to a cloud one so i could disable the standard pack as advised by tagdiv documentation but unfortunately i can’t seem to find a way to reduce the post from full width to one with a sidebar. For e.g. the default pro post for default newspaper theme has most popular posts on the sidebar with an ad box above. But when I implement it as a default post it goes full width minus the sidebar and i end up seeing the side bar content on top of my post while scrolling up and down on an article

Hi, the header on my site shows differently on pages to how it shows on posts.

I’ve selected the global header from a cloud template I created.

I have the following problem:

In Cloud Templates, select Add New, the black loading screen displays the message “Invalid reply from server endpoint.”
This did work and now it doesn’t.
For info, in the tagDiv Composer with the Website Manager tool it **IS** Possible to import a header from the library.
My Newspaper system status page is good, all in the green nothing in red. I’m on an https site.
I disabled and the enabled the tagDiv plugins and emptied my cache.
I Still have the problem.

Any suggestions how to fix this?

Hi,

I noticed my jetpack comments were not working. I tried enabling and disabling different plugins. Turns out when I disable the tagdiv cloud library plugin, then it loads fine.

Not sure what the issue is here and was hoping you could help me out with this.

Hi,

you mentioned somewhere that child themes are not necessary anymore with Newspaper 10 and one should use your cloud library feature in most cases. I now want to create custom templates for custom post types. What is the recommended way to do this? Somewhere in the forum you said that this will be possible in the future with the cloud library but not at the moment. Should I use a child theme for this or what is a future-proof way to do this (so that I can later switch my templates for custom post types to the cloud library)?

Thanks for an answer!

UncleLion

I see it on theme panel. And when I use typical templates it is work. But when I add template from cloud library, then disqus is replaced by wordpress comment system.

YNOTCY
tagDiv Member

Also I’ll add to this… posts set to the downloaded custom Cloud Library single post template also don’t seem to pay attention to the global settings. So for example, if I set the posts to NOT show the number of comments (which is says in the control panel will affect both default AND custom templates) this works for all default templates but the meta info I turned off still shows up in the custom templates.

Hey guys, so I’m aware of all the ways we can customize the default post templates via theme settings:

https://forum.tagdiv.com/design-post-pages-using-default-templates/

But what I’m wondering is, can we change the templates in other ways? Like for example if I wanted to move where the author information shows up? Add additional stuff not in the templates now?

Also, I downloaded a single post template from the Cloud Library. The template looks fine in the Cloud Library file, and has two columns. When assigned to an article, only the main column shows up (stretched to cover the whole width of the post). And if I assign a Sidebar, that too doesn’t show up. This only happens when choosing the added Cloud Library template, but all default templates the Sidebar shows up correctly.

Any thoughts on these two issues? Thanks.

Hello,

If you using a single post template from Cloud Library then you need edit with tagDiv Composer,
this is a video what that can help you => https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fa7GenCHcBU, and a guide => https://forum.tagdiv.com/smart-sidebar-2/
or if you have a Standard Post Template, a sidebar can be created only with widgets, please follow these guides -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/sidebars-tutorial/

Hope this helps you!

Hello Kathrin,

What I meant is to import the category page from the cloud library and adjust it with tagDiv Composer.

Hi!
After activating the Yoast SEO plugin, the article pages are white screen.
/category pages are also white screen.
I disabled all plugins, the problem persists. After the Yoast SEO plugin is deactivated, the pages become normal again.

I turned on the debugger, I see this:

Hello !

The files used on your end for the mega-menu are found here: wp-content/plugins/td-cloud-library/shortcodes/header/tdb_header_mega_menu.php that should use the JS code from here: wp-content/plugins/td-cloud-library/assets/js

Please note that CookiePro is not a tested plugin unfortunately this is not something that the Support team covers.
