Hi,

So you want to have a full width, this can be done by choosing a demo that already has the design you want, you can check them, here -> https://demo.tagdiv.com/select_demo/select_demo_newspaper/?utm_source=live_preview&utm_medium=click&utm_campaign=demos&utm_content=demos_button#demos or you can use only parts from that demo, by using the cloud template for a specific zone -> https://i.imgur.com/KnWq2sT.png
Another solution is to use tagDiv Composer and stretch the row, here are some topics about this -> -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/how-can-i-change-the-newspaper-theme-to-full-width/

Thank you!

Hi,

Indeed if you are using PRO demos, the settings from theme panel will no affect website, because PRO Demos are build suing cloud template from tagDiv Cloud Library and are build/edit with tagDiv Composer. So if you want to edit the pages or templates you need to do it with tagDiv Composer, for pages -> https://i.imgur.com/FIDsl3X.png or cloud templates -> https://i.imgur.com/QUul6Mj.png

Let me know the results!

Hi,

A quick fix for this problem with getimagesize is to adding an extra parameter in theme file, the file path is wp-content/plugins/td-cloud-library/shortcodes/header/tdb_header_logo.php on line 792 set before getimagesize and ‘@’ like this -> https://i.imgur.com/VOWmTCI.png
This problem will be solved in the coming updates!

Thank you!

Hi I have installed the magazine pro and I have no option of changing the footer design template.
I have seen in the documentation that you can select a template from the cloud library..I dont have this option for the footer. Do I need to install anything else?

Hi I have this error as soon as I activate the magazine pro with the content.

Hi anaivico,

Please note that tagdiv Composer is a builder, it can be use to create pages and cloud templates, therefore you can use it to make post templates but not to set post content.

Thank you!

Hello !

1. Please note that all the PRO demos and the library templates are fully editable using tagDiv Composer, in order to change the background color / image you will have to edit all the ROWS as you can see here: https://www.screencast.com/t/QlYxvmdoUxea | If you are using standard templates you can edit them by going into Theme Panel – Theme colors.

2. If you are using standard header ( the one from theme panel – headers ) you will have to insert it here: wp-content/plugins/td-standard-pack/Newspaper/parts/header : https://i.imgur.com/I0MEoWi.png

And if you are using cloud library templates for header you can see it here:wp-content/plugins/td-cloud-library/shortcodes/header/tdb_header_menu.php

Thank you !

Hi Sommer,

The archive page that you are using is a standard one, not a cloud -> https://i.imgur.com/c5evG3S.png there are no other options to edit these standard templates.
If you want to have a little more options you can use a cloud template as in my example.

Thank you for your understanding!

Hi Calin,

Thanks for your reply, we will contact the developer team. Do you have any idea of the current workload to estimate a response time?

In the meanwhile I have another, sort of, related question. We followed the steps below:

– Created a new category, let’s call it “_XXXYYYXXX” for now (the use of the “_” is intentional so it is the very first in the list when multiple-categories are ticked for a post)
– Imported a Category cloud template.
– Edited that Category template and clicked the “Manage” button, to select a header and a footer (other than the global one) to display.
– In the theme panel, we set the CATEGORY CLOUD LIBRARY TEMPLATE “_XXXYYYXXX” to use the Category cloud template we imported and edited. (*edit)

We then tested the behaviour under the following scenarios:
– Visit to category Page https://www.blah-di-blah.com/_XXXYYYXXX
– Visit to post where only the category “_XXXYYYXXX” is ticked but the primary category is NOT set
– Visit to post where only the category “_XXXYYYXXX” is ticked but the primary category is set to “_XXXYYYXXX”
– Visit to post where the category “_XXXYYYXXX” is ticked along with other categories, but the primary category is NOT set
– Visit to post where the category “_XXXYYYXXX” is ticked along with other categories, but the primary category is set to “_XXXYYYXXX”

(*edit) We also tested the same scenarios above with the Theme Panel POST CLOUD LIBRARY TEMPLATE option set to Inherit from Post Global Settings, as well as by selecting a cloud single template (where we had selected the same header/footer as the Category Cloud Template).

In all cases the resulting output on the browser respected the cloud template Header setting, however the Footer kept displaying the global setting.

Is that the intentional behaviour of the theme?

Regards,
Pedro

Hi peranet,

Yes, you can use standard post style with AmberLigth demo, just make sure that you have tagDiv Standard Pack enable in Newspaper > plugins. Also you can use a single post template from tagDiv Cloud Library that is the same like post Style 9 and you can edit it with tagDiv Composers, also you can do the same for smart lists.

If there is still a problem, let me know!

Thank you!

Hi,

You can display the categories of posts in archive pages using a cloud template for date -> https://i.imgur.com/DHXTTjm.png this one can be edited with tagDiv Composer -> https://i.imgur.com/1GRBOTf.png

Also if you are using a plugin for this, make sure that plugin can display the category description.

Hi,

You are using cloud templates from tagDiv Cloud Library those has the id=”template-id-76894..” I think that one solution is to use a standard template (standard header and standard footer ) and not a cloud template. Please try like this and let me know!

Thank you!

Hi,

If you are using WordPress v5.5 or 5.5.1 make sure that you are using Newspaper v10.3.6.1
If the problem persists, please try the below steps:
1. Disable tagDiv Composer -> https://i.imgur.com/uzBdRB9.png
2. delete tagDiv Composer -> https://i.imgur.com/xGGfYE7.png
3. Reinstall tagDiv Composer -> https://i.imgur.com/Ay0zJHn.png or -> https://i.imgur.com/ZMgV9at.png
4. Clear all cache from your website, host and browser ( for browser use force refresh Ctrl Shift R ).

Hi,

I do not know these type of advertisements, but these should work like all others, also I see that you are using a pro dem, therefore you can use tagDiv Composer to edit the pages -> https://i.imgur.com/aymF9TY.jpg and cloud templates -> https://i.imgur.com/xPNz9UW.png then add the ad box element and you can set the code in custom ad place -> https://i.imgur.com/IKzNfKE.png or if these are banners you can set theme as images and set links on them -> https://i.imgur.com/yInq5mW.png

Hello !

Sorry for the misunderstanding !

If you are using a Cloud library template for posts or a PRO demo you will have to edit the post template and add the review element as you can see here: https://www.screencast.com/t/EAGmcPZwpA

This is on their to do list but at the moment there is no ETA on this.

Thank you !

Hi, since yesterday I am having the same problems with the PHP not working and getimagesize and so on and me having to deactivate plugin “tagDiv Cloud Library 1.5” ; I added the @ but that doesn’t solve my problem; as this is a testsite on the same server as my actual site, this issue is taking my website down 🙁

This problem suddenly arose and I spend weeks working on my testsite without any issues at all.
As far as I can see I meet all requirements.
Thanks!

Yes, if you are using category templates you can edit the post loop and you will see those filtering options: https://forum.tagdiv.com/cloud-library-category-templates/

The pagination is only on latest articles option from page template or if you are using a posts loop, now the post loop can be edited using tagDiv Composer and you can change the pagination -> https://i.imgur.com/dE2Csxk.png this can be done on categories too if you are using cloud templates.

Hi,

The Magazine pro demo is a demo made using tagDiv Composer and cloud templates, these can be edited entirely using tagDiv Composer.
Now the icons from menu can be set like that in two ways: 1 using our guide for “How to add an icon in menu” or using some html and css code. The Magazine pro demo has the menu made using html and css -> https://i.imgur.com/3bj4NxZ.png

Thank you!

I have created a few category templates via Cloud Library. With some of them I have a strange error.
