Hi,
Could you please provide some screenshots or a link where I can see the sidebar you are refering?
If is a single post template, then you can edit it with tagDiv Composer and using the theme builder, you can add/edit/remove the elements
Thank you!
Hi,
When this situation appears, it is because one of the theme plugins that has been used before the theme update is no longer installed and updated. The theme plugins can be checked and installed from Newsapepr > Plugins. Normally, you should have tagDiv Composer, tagDiv Cloud Library, and in your situation, I think you should also have the tagDiv Opt-in Builder plugin installed and activated.
Thank you!
Hi,
Please check to have the plugins tagDiv Composer, tagDiv Cloud Library (if cloud templates were used), and tagDiv Standard Pack plugin (if standard templates have been used). Those plugins can be installed from Newsapper > plugins.
If you’re encountering an infinite loading screen after clicking Save Settings in the theme panel, the issue is likely related to admin-ajax.php. To diagnose the problem, please open your browser’s developer console and check for any error messages.
This behavior is commonly caused by admin-ajax.php being blocked by modSecurity, your hosting provider’s firewall, or certain security plugins or server modules.
Thank you
I got the featured image working again. Apparently I for some reason had lost the installation for cloud library. However the logo issue persists even after clearly seeing that the settings are correct.
Hi,
When you see shortcodes on your website, and those contain td, this means that one of the theme plugins that should be active is not installed and activated. The theme plugins can be installed from Newspaper > Plugins, and you usually need tagDiv Composer, for cloud template tagDiv Cloud Library, and for old templates, you need tagDiv Standard Pack plugin.
Thank you so much for your help. Unfortunately, I can’t record the video you requested, but I’ll explain the problem in detail with images. The page link is this: https://opinandosinanestesia.es/boletin-newsletter/ And the link I want to link to is this: https://opinandosinanestesia.es/formulario-newsletter/.
From Cloud Library, I click on “subscribe” to link it to the reference website. I enter the link in the button URL field and save it. When I save and close Cloud Library, I automatically click on “subscribe” again, and… the link disappears because the page doesn’t do anything. I go back to Cloud Library, and sure enough, there’s no link in the button URL field. I don’t know what to do. Thank you.
Thank you for your reply.
However, your response is not adequate given the seriousness of the issue that was reported.
The problem I described is not a general bot protection matter. It appears to be a flaw in the way your plugin handles account creation and/or validation. If a plugin allows attackers to bypass WordPress settings and create accounts, that is a defect in the plugin’s logic. It is not acceptable to shift responsibility to users by instructing them to deploy Cloudflare, Wordfence, or reCAPTCHA as compensating controls.
Security controls such as firewalls and CAPTCHA are defense-in-depth measures. They are not substitutes for correct server-side validation and adherence to WordPress core security mechanisms. A plugin must function securely in a standard WordPress environment without requiring users to re-architect their network, introduce third-party services, or alter user experience flows to compensate for insecure code paths.
Recommending Cloudflare and Wordfence does not address the root cause. It avoids the core issue: your plugin is bypassing expected WordPress restrictions and enabling unauthorized account creation.
If the plugin modifies or overrides WordPress registration logic, that logic must include proper nonce validation, capability checks, and server-side enforcement of the site’s registration settings. Anything less is a security vulnerability.
I am asking you to:
- Acknowledge whether the behavior described is reproducible.
- Confirm whether the plugin bypasses native WordPress registration restrictions.
- Clarify whether a patch will be issued to correct this behavior.
This is a security concern, not a configuration preference. It should be handled as such.
I look forward to your technical response.
Hi,
If you want to redesign only the homepage, what you could do is to look in our cloud library and see if you find something you like it, after that just import it and edit it with tagDiv Composer according to your needs – https://prnt.sc/0yBQY0w_385m
Thank you!
Hi,
First, make sure that tagDiv Composer and tagDiv Cloud Library are removed. After that, go to Newspaper > plugins and try to install teh plugins from there.
If the problem persists, disable all plugins and try again after that to install the theme plugins; sometimes there are extra plugins interfering – https://forum.tagdiv.com/newspaper-how-to-update-a-plugin/
Thank you!
Hi jrpirestani,
As I mentioned in my previous email, please check for tagDiv Composer, tagDiv Cloud Library, and tagDiv Opt-in builder. From your screenshots, the problem is clear: the plugin tagDiv Opt-in builder is not installed or activated. Please install it and activate the plugin after that, then clear the cache.
Thank you!
Hi,
Please make sure that you are using CloudFlare and Wordfence to be sure that your site is protected by bots.
After that, make sure that you have set the reCAPTCHA by Google in the theme panel – https://prnt.sc/Qm2F72H915Lb
Thank you!
Quiero modificar el diseño de la home, porque quiero poner un diseño más dinámico, más comunicativo, y sobre todo más dinamico. ¿Como hago para enlazar páginas al diseño con diferentes modulos de cloud library?
Gracias
Hi,
Could you please check if all the previous theme plugins that have been used before the theme update are now also installed and activated? Check for tagDiv Composer, tagDiv Cloud Library and tagDiv Opt-in builder. Those theme plugins can be installed from Newsapepr > plugins – https://forum.tagdiv.com/newspaper-how-to-update-a-plugin/
Thank you!
Hi tobiasinfo,
There is no option to bring it back. That sidebar line is no longer useful in the theme since the Cloud Templates were integrated into the theme and even more so now that Gutenberg is the main WordPress editor.
If you can let me know how this is helping you with now, do you have only standard templates? Now what I can do is to create a code in a child theme to add it back
I’ve just configured this page from the cloud library,(https://opinandosinanestesia.es/exterior/) and I linked each image to a URL. I set them to open in a new window, saved every time I linked an image, and in the end they all appear without any links. This is chaos. How can I fix this quickly? Thank you.
Hi,
This can be done, but it is not entirely automatic. Our team uses cloud templates from tagDiv Cloud Library, and those can be edited using tagDiv Composer so you can add and remove elements from templates and pages.
Now, if you want to create a gallery that can be displayed instead of featutred image in blocks on pages, categories and/or inside the arrtocle then you can use the gallery article option from the article added by the theme – https://prnt.sc/2fFad7Cl5Qpz on the single post template use tagDiv Composer to edit it and replace the featured image with the gallery element https://prnt.sc/eTe7lwwEyMQN https://prnt.sc/OyfMaAWxeAhX
To display the gallery on blocks, you need to create a module and use the gallery element instead of the featured image. Then, where you want it to be displayed, use the flex block builder and select that module
Hi Marc,
I just checked the website, and this seems to be working ok for visitors. Also, I see that you are now using the LiteSpeed Cache plugin.
Now, related to the page speed results, this depends on factors like page dimensions, images, external resources, and cache…
UNfortubatley becouse the latespeed is not a tested pluginwe can not say for sure what option to enable and what option to disable to get a better performance, but let’s start with general pagespeed settings:
– convert images in webp format (there are cache plugins that can do this, but if the Litespeed is not doing this, the EWWW Image Optimizer can be used https://prnt.sc/DzMY6YynebbI). Make sure that only a lazyload option is enabled (the theme has an option https://prnt.sc/4pqTwHya8Awa and most likely other plugins that optimize the image to have the option)
– enable this theme option – https://prnt.sc/Ir7qNRhstgSA – https://prnt.sc/k2M5pc8odE1D (AGGREGATE INLINE CSS option needs to be tested with teh cache plugin)
– disable the mobile header on desktop and desktop header on mobile (this can be done for the sticky headers, but make sure that the mobile cache option is enabled – https://prnt.sc/r3QB7-vZ4UzH https://prnt.sc/KBdRK8nc90UW
– on mobile simply disable the mobile sticky menu https://prnt.sc/IFe6OfBzige7 and select the regular menu and set it to be sticky, also make sure that you have set a background color for it – https://prnt.sc/I6G0kypEakOM
– use an object cache (Redis or Memcached)
– use a CDN like Cloudflare
I hope those first steps to help you to get a better speed.
“I ran Query Monitor and found the exact error: the server is experiencing severe cURL timeouts (over 20 seconds) whenever wp_remote_get attempts to connect to cloud.tagdiv.com.”
Did you set tagDiv Cloud Library as an exception for caching?
The problem is that I have already configured everything and I still can’t find what’s causing the issue. When I click on a link, it takes more than 20 seconds to respond/load.
However, when I disable tagDiv Cloud Library, everything works fine and the site responds quickly.
Is there any way to fix this? This wasn’t happening before, and I’ve actually managed to improve the overall loading speed, so I’m not sure why this is happening now.
Thanks

Hello,
It is not necessary to install any additional plugins. A well-structured and visually appealing design will be sufficient. For this purpose, you can use tagDiv Composer and tagDiv Cloud Library. You may select and customize one of the available Cloud templates, modify the existing theme templates, or create your own templates from scratch to meet your needs.
Hi,
Since installing LiteSpeed Cache, my website has been very slow when clicking on any page or post.
I tried going back to WP Rocket, but the problem persists. Interestingly, when I disable the tagDiv Cloud Library plugin, the site responds normally again.
Has anyone experienced this conflict between LiteSpeed Cache and tagDiv Cloud Library?
Is there a way to use both without causing such slow performance?
Thanks for any suggestions!
its showing fine now in post because i changed the post template to old one. its breaking when i use single post template from cloud.
https://prnt.sc/lswDlPZNdaEa. in admin panel everything is fine and properly showing. its only happening when i check without logging in.
Hi,
I see that now teh article templates look ok https://prnt.sc/d3IzVFIdPfM4 maybe before you used a cloud template and it is possible that something was interfering with it.
Regarding the header, please confirm whether you have a single Cloud Header or multiple Cloud Headers. It is possible to have more than one, and they can be assigned to specific pages and Cloud Templates.
Any header assigned to a page or Cloud Template will override the global header for the pages or templates where it is assigned.
