Here is what I have found out after a great deal of time spent on that subject. I report it because I guess it will be helpful for some fellows as the newspaper theme and the wp rss aggregator plugin are very popular in their respective market and that makes sense they should be a good companion for each other.
There is a special configuration for the bug to happen:
– it affects the single post view
– newspaper side (version 10.1): it happens when activating a cloud based template for displaying the single post view and/or selecting a page in the footer page settings
– wp rss aggregator side: it happens when using the WP RSS Aggregator – Feed to Post add-on plugin (version 3.11) with the trimming feature enabled.
When selecting a cloud based single post template: what happens is that the read more link generated by the plugin not only shows up at the end of the trimmed text as expected but shows up again at the very bottom of the post below sections like the author box, the related posts, the social counters etc.
When selecting a page in the footer page settings: this read more link shows up again at the very bottom of the webpage, ie below the footer.
The workaround to prevent this bug from happening consists of NOT using the cloud based template for the single post view and NOT selecting a page in the footer page setting, that means using the standard single post and footer templates instead. Basically that means to not take advantage of what the Newspaper version 10 release is all about, ie using only cloud based templates and deactivating the standard templates in order to speed up the website.
Hope that helps
Thanks.
For the header background color – what I mean is that the background color of the (set by clicking on Row > CSS > Background) expands past the body container, as shown in your example above. I previously used the Header Style 6 where the gray background of the site went all the way to the top of the page on all viewports. Right now the desktop view has the background color expanding past the body container.
For the logo – it’s an image. In my current site, using Header Style 6, the logo is smaller than using Cloud Template 6 for some reason (and looks better with more white space around it). Is there any way to resize an image logo so it stays centered?
Thanks again!
I am referring to the single post template from tagDiv Cloud. The problem is not about how to change the icon style, but how do I change what social media links/icons show up? Right now it is showing 12 different social media platforms (fb, twitter, pinterest, reddit, digg, etc.) by default, but I only want to show a few such as fb and linkedin. Are you able to point me to where I can change these? I have already tried changing the options in the theme panel but with no luck. Thanks!
Hello,
I imported the empty template from the cloud library. And I created a header template like this link. When I set this template in the header settings in the newspaper theme I use, a blank page comes up.
When I look at the source code of the blank page, the following line appears:
<! – Page uncached by LiteSpeed Cache 2.9.9.2 on 2019-12-11 19:49:12 ->
Where am I making a mistake?
Thanks in advance for your interest and help.
Regards.
We are no longer seeing the area to add the video URL for our posts. We are running the latest versions of the theme and WordPress.
I’m also getting the following errors in my logs: [11-Dec-2019 15:17:49 UTC] PHP Warning: getimagesize(): https:// wrapper is disabled in the server configuration by allow_url_fopen=0 in /wp-content/plugins/td-cloud-library/shortcodes/header/tdb_header_logo.php on line 782
How to create a single with cloud for custom post type?
Hi,
If you are referring to sharing style -> https://i.imgur.com/XYOlju5.png then you’ll need to check if you are using standard post styles or single post templates from tagDiv Cloud Library, the settings from theme panel will apply only on standard styles, these from cloud need to be edit with tagDiv Composer -> https://i.imgur.com/bPtnPlz.jpg
Hope this will help you!
Thank you!
Hello !
PRO Layouts and Clouds Templates are fully editable using the tagDiv Composer. Those can be edited on the flex blocks.
Thank you !
Hi,
Please notice that if you are using cloud templates, you’ll need to edit them with tagDiv Composer and change/remove the font style, because the theme panel settings will not apply on them.
Here is an example -> https://i.imgur.com/5c6nP6C.png
Thank you!
Hi,
All the elements from single post templates can be found in this file -> wp-content/plugins/td-cloud-library/shortcodes/single but plice notice that the single post stiles are no more finical in php files, these are dynamical and the code for them is saved in database.
Thank you for your understanding!
Hi,
I do not quite understand the problem, do you want to remove the author from the post? From what I can see you are using a single post template from tagDiv Cloud Library, for this will not apply the theme panel settings, you’ll need to edit the single post template with tagDiv Composer and remove the author name and box.
Hope this will help you!
Thank you!
Is it possible to copy/paste the raw ‘code’ (when you view Edit) from a customized Cloud Template from a staging environment to production?
Thanks!
Ahh.. need to click on Row to adjust it. Thanks!
Another couple questions…
How do I get the header to align to the body container? Right now the background stretches past the body container (unlike when I was using the non-cloud version)?
Also, is there a way to make the logo a bit smaller?
Thanks again!
There are 2 static components without a far-future expiration date.

i already have turned off on theme google fonts..
Hi Calin,
again thanks for response but i uploaded an image that illustrates this more clearly. So the Top section was doine in the composer and it’s a little limited because i also need to insert a link that comes as a custom field. The post title works fine as it is a module in the builder. I took Single_post_Template_5 from the cloud library and i need to insert my banner snipped in the source code of that specific template so i can use the get_post_title() and get_post_meta() functions to display or incorporate the fields that i need. Where could i find that source file?
Thanks in advance!
Greeting!
Hi,
So if I understand correctly you want to set some custom code for post title, if is so then the file for the single post template from tagDiv Cloud Library can be change from here -> wp-content/plugins/td-cloud-library/shortcodes/common/tdb_title.php
Hope this will help you!
Thank you!
Hi,
The mobile theme is a plugin that helps to achieve a better speed on mobile devices, but for the moment there are not very much customization that you can do on it -> https://i.imgur.com/HOsZPZY.png
If you want a better design and more control over it, you can use the responsive version.
Since Newspaper v9.7.4 you can show the responsive version on mobile theme -> http://prntscr.com/oh6r2s you can check more details about mobile theme in our documentation -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/
You can change the logo place by changing the header style -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/header-styles/ from theme panel -> https://i.imgur.com/7UncbXL.png or for more control you can use a cloud header from tagdiv Cloud Library and you can edit it using tagDiv Composer.
Thank you!
Hi,
The hover color can be change from theme accent color -> https://i.imgur.com/T8Pfkmk.png if you are using a cloud header, the you can edit it with tagDiv Composer -> https://i.imgur.com/rcrSy93.png
Unfortunately for the moment there is no such an option in our theme to can set for each category/page from menu the hover color that you want.
Thank you for your understanding!
Hello !
Create a footer page from the Cloud Library and then you can stretch the ROWs as shown in the picture above: https://forum.tagdiv.com/footer-templates/
Thank you !
Hello !
Unfortunately that option is not available. You can create a single post template from the Cloud library and use one of the multiple blocks available from the cloud as you can see it from here: https://www.screencast.com/t/tbZrJgJax
Find out how to import a single post template from the cloud library here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/design-post-pages-using-cloud-library-templates/
I hope this was helpful !
Thank you !
Hello !
In order to add individual author templates you will have to set them up as you can see it here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/cloud-library-templates/
In order to implement them into posts you will have to insert them via tagDiv Composer as you can see it here: https://www.screencast.com/t/0kd6d50M
Thank you !
I downloaded Clouder Header Template 6 and am trying to change the background from black to white, but nothing works. Here’s what I do:
- I go to Cloud Templates
- click on Header Template 6
- Edit Template
- click on main header so I’m editing Header Menu / Zone
- Go to CSS tab
- Edit Background Color to something other than
- … still black (nothing changes)
What am I missing?
Thanks
Hi,
1) There are a few gif images that need to be optimized.
2) Images work better with Cloudflare + Lazy Load by WP Rocket
For page: https://www.pinkluggageabroad.com/riad/
Featured image on this page is of 1.95MB that’s big and is not being served by Jetpack CDN.
After optimizing all images, you must purge all cache (Server level cache, WP Super cache.)
I hope you will find this helpful.
Dear Sir,
I feel that my cloud template plugin is not working. I uninstall it and after reinstall it. It again not working, Sir please help me in this situation.

Hi Calin,
thanks for the quick response though i might have miscommunicated my intention. Indeed i want to create a custom post template.I already took a template from the cloud library But i need to have a specific section in this template that i already have coded in html to display the post title. I am fairly sure now that this is only achieveable through manually inserting my code in the php file that i can find under …/wp-content/plugins/td-cloud-library/wp-templates/tbd-view-single/
If thats not correct i would appreciate if you could point me to the right direction.
Greetings
