Hi there,
I am constantly getting issues when I open category and product pages. I tried contacting the Hosting Provider and upon debugging, they found the issue connected with the td-composer and td-cloud library plugin.

Issue says: There has been a critical error on this website.

I am attaching all the necessary screenshots and links to the pages below. Please help me solve this issue because this is important for me to solve this issue.

Hey! I noticed certain blocks, homepages, pages and sections are not available on the Pre-Designed Templates – Cloud Library, specifically the Office Nexus Pro when using the TAGDIV Composer.

I wanted to use some of the specific blocks, pages and sections on a pre existing theme I have. The Office Nexus Pro theme does show up on the dashboard – Newspaper – prebuilt website.

Can you help? I have also made sure I have all of the recent updates.

Hi,
I am trying to create my own module from scratch : When I click on “Add element,” not all the options that are available when creating a page appear. I am looking for a way to insert a custom shortcode. There are “Common page elements shortcodes” and “Multipurpose shortcodes,” but I can’t seem to add my shortcode to the available elements. How can I insert my own shortcode into my module?

Thank you in advance.

Hello,

You need edit the single post template with tagdiv Composer and add those elements -> https://i.imgur.com/oxxKibu.png

Hello,

The issue is caused by an option from Cloudflare, you need to disable the rocket loader, when you add new shortcodes after you can enable it -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/cloudflare-cdn/

Thank you!

Hello @kumarsanjaya333,

Please check this topic https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/column-text-wp-editor-not-working/
Also, if you are using Cloudflare, please make sure that is set as in our guide https://forum.tagdiv.com/cloudflare-cdn/, you need to disable the Rocket Loader.

Thank you!

Hello,

You can import the single post template 5 from cloud library https://cloud.tagdiv.com/#/single/single/Single/15 to look like single style 4.

Thank you!

Hi Kevin, usually this situation can appear only if the theme plugins have not been installed, so what you need to do after you update the theme is to make sure that the theme plugins are also updated and installed. Also, you can install theme when you want from Newspaper > plugins – https://i.imgur.com/sLtv97c.png you should have tagDiv Composer and tagDiv Cloud library installed.
Thank you!

Hi,
What I can recommend is to check the search cloud template, select the blocks elements and see if there is not set an offset on the loop element – https://i.imgur.com/0sH9QeQ.pnghttps://i.imgur.com/JbHaJ5T.png

Hello,
For the moment our directory/listing demos are – https://demo.tagdiv.com/select_demo/newspaper-prebuilt-websites/?demo-type=directory and what you can do is to choose the most close one with what you need and only edit it what it is need to achieve your needs or you can create your own templates, taxonomies, CPTs using the theme builder tagDiv Composer, tagDiv Cloud Library and a plugin for CPTS and Taxonomies, as ACF plugin.
Also, we support team can help you using the theme, but we can not create it for you.
Or in case that you want a developer to create the website for you, then you can make a request using this link – https://tagdiv.com/submit-a-request/
Thank you!

Hello kevinstolz, as long the settings you made were not made in the theme files or plugin files, then the update of the theme should not interfere, just make sure that not only the theme is updated, update the theme plugins too (I see that you are using the Newspaper theme, not Newsmag, s you need to have tagDiv Composer, tagDiv Cloud Library, also make sure that all cache is cleared).
Thank you!

Hello!

Style 4 template can not be edited with the tagdiv composer or be duplicated.
If you want to create a new single post template, then go to the Cloud Templates and add a blank template https://app.screencast.com/bjWWsS7z2VgFC and start customizing it with the tagdiv composer.
More documentation about the cloud templates is here:
https://forum.tagdiv.com/cloud-library-templates/

Hello!

Delete the menu from here: https://app.screencast.com/DGl1ECQrgeb2T
Edit the page: https://app.screencast.com/DmwHOMvdpriFr You can choose to use other header template from the Website Manager: https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-composer-website-manager/
You can choose the template you would like to use and add or remove elements from the tagdiv composer.
Try to delete the empty columns. You could try to delete it like this: select the row, press the button delete from your keyboard, then with your mouse select “YES”.
Also you have another option too, check this: https://www.screencast.com/t/pxuOzYIIpcG

Hello!

I see that you use cloud templates. In the cloud templates, you can add the ads when you edit the post with TagDiv Composer in the element called “Single Post Content” in the tab ADS. Documentation here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/article-ads/
Or you can use the element called “Ad Box” from TagDiv Composer, and there you need to add the ads: https://forum.tagdiv.com/ads-adsense-overview/

Thank you!

Hello!

I’ve checked your website and I can see your mobile menu. I recommend using the cloud templates for all your articles as well.

Thank you!

hi, I just set up the theme purchased from Themforest.

I am getting an error when I log in to the WordPress admin dashboard.

“Warning: Cannot modify header information – headers already sent by (output started at /home/1324573.cloudwaysapps.com/pxhzaedpvy/public_html/wp-content/plugins/td-composer/legacy/common/wp_booster/td_util.php:2957) in /home/1324573.cloudwaysapps.com/pxhzaedpvy/public_html/wp-includes/pluggable.php on line 1435

my hosting company said one of the plugins is creating issues, this plugin is theme installed plugin, if I deactivate this plugin, they recommend using it and again site will break.

what i am missing?

Ok, found the issue.
In the ‘Header Template Overlay – Blockchain PRO’ cloud template, under the mobile view in Theme Editor, there was a different setting for some strange reason.

Additional info: We are using the cloud library header template called ‘Header Template Overlay – Blockchain PRO’, if that helps.
Can you tell me where I can find the files for this header template?
(When all non-tagdiv plugins are disabled, this still persists.)

HI Guys,

I’m currently seperating two websites from a multi-site, to do this I’ve created a fresh install and exported/imported the content which is a considerable amount, close to 200k posts on each site.

I can export/import the theme settings, but what about the pages, can this be done via the cloud library?

Hello!

Please note that you can not edit the default header template with the tagdiv Composer. You can choose to use other header template from the Website Manager: https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-composer-website-manager/
When I check your website, I can see that your header template is a cloud one even on the single template. If you use the Mobile theme layout on the single post template, then you can control the way is looking from the theme panel settings -> Mobile theme.
We have 3 options available for mobile versions that you can use:

1. Responsive version: A responsive version of your website looks similar to the desktop version. TagDiv Composer is used to edit the page. Click on the mobile viewport: https://www.screencast.com/t/XDQJedlggSB. There, you can see your mobile version and edit or adjust the elements to look better.

2. Mobile pages: https://tagdiv.com/newspaper-10-3-7-update-brings-customizable-and-fast-mobile-pages

3. Mobile theme plugin: The Mobile Theme is a performance-optimized theme included in the main Newspaper theme that only loads on mobile devices. It comes with its own templates and designs for pages, posts, categories, etc., so your current templates from the desktop theme will get converted to the mobile theme layout. Please see https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/ and https://forum.tagdiv.com/mobile-theme-introduction/ for more information.

Hello!

LCP measures how quickly the largest content element (e.g., image, video, text block) becomes visible within the viewport. Improving LCP involves optimizing various aspects of your WordPress site. Here’s a step-by-step guide on how to enhance LCP:

1. Optimize Images
Images are often the largest elements on the page, and optimizing them can significantly improve LCP.

Compress Images: Use tools like Smush, Imagify, or EWWW Image Optimizer to compress images without sacrificing quality.
Use Correct Image Format: Convert images to modern formats like WebP for faster loading.
Lazy Load Images: Lazy loading delays the loading of images until they’re needed. WordPress 5.5 and later versions come with native lazy loading, or you can use plugins like Lazy Load by WP Rocket.
Serve Scaled Images: Ensure images are served in appropriate sizes based on the device.
2. Enable Caching
Caching improves LCP by reducing server response times and decreasing the amount of work needed to load a page.
Browser Caching: Ensure that static resources like CSS, JS, and images are cached in the browser to speed up repeated visits.
3. Minimize CSS and JavaScript
Reducing the size and loading time of CSS and JavaScript files can help improve LCP.
Minify CSS and JavaScript: Use a plugin like Autoptimize to minify CSS and JavaScript files.
Defer Non-Critical JavaScript: Delay the loading of non-critical JavaScript by deferring or async loading to avoid blocking rendering.
Remove Unused CSS: Eliminate unused CSS using WP Rocket’s CSS optimization feature or manual removal for unneeded stylesheets.
4. Use a Content Delivery Network (CDN)
A CDN helps improve LCP by serving your content from servers closest to the user, reducing latency.

Integrate a CDN: Use services like Cloudflare, StackPath, or KeyCDN to serve static resources, like images, CSS, and JavaScript, from a global network of servers.
5. Optimize Fonts
Custom fonts can significantly affect LCP if not optimized properly.

Preload Key Fonts: Use the preload directive in your HTML to load important fonts early.
Use System Fonts: Alternatively, switch to system fonts for faster font rendering.
Font Display Property: Use the font-display: swap; CSS property to ensure text is visible while web fonts load.
6. Reduce Server Response Times (TTFB)
A fast server response time (Time to First Byte, TTFB) is essential for a good LCP score.

Upgrade Hosting: Choose a high-performance hosting provider, especially one that specializes in WordPress, like Kinsta, WP Engine, or SiteGround.
Use Latest PHP Version: Ensure your WordPress site is running the latest version of PHP (8.x) for better performance.
Database Optimization: Regularly clean up and optimize your WordPress database using plugins like WP-Optimize or Advanced Database Cleaner.
7. Reduce Third-Party Scripts
External resources can slow down the page, affecting LCP.

Minimize Third-Party Embeds: Reduce or optimize third-party scripts, such as Google Analytics, social media embeds, and advertising.
Use Tag Manager: If you use multiple tracking scripts, implement them through Google Tag Manager to load them asynchronously and reduce load impact.
8. Prioritize Above-the-Fold Content
The content visible above the fold (i.e., before scrolling) should load quickly for a better LCP score.

Inline Critical CSS: Inline essential CSS directly into the HTML to prioritize above-the-fold content. Tools like Autoptimize or WP Rocket can help with this.
Avoid Heavy Above-the-Fold Elements: Avoid large images or videos that slow down the loading of the above-the-fold content.
9. Use Lazy Load for Iframes and Videos
Similar to image lazy loading, delay loading of iframes and videos until they are needed.

Lazy Load Iframes: Use plugins like Lazy Load for Videos or WP Rocket’s built-in lazy load feature to defer video loading.
10. Monitor with Performance Tools
Continuously track your site’s LCP performance to identify new bottlenecks or opportunities for improvement.

Google PageSpeed Insights: Run your site through Google PageSpeed Insights to get a detailed breakdown of LCP issues.
WebPageTest: Use WebPageTest for deeper insights into your page load times and specific areas affecting LCP.
GTmetrix: Another tool that provides useful performance data, including LCP metrics.
By implementing these optimizations, you should see a noticeable improvement in your WordPress site’s LCP, resulting in a faster, more user-friendly experience.

Hi all,

our regular headers are fine, but the single post mobile template’s header is off. It shows only the wordpress website title and tagline. I had it displayed our logo and hamburger but during an update a while back it reverted back to title and tagline.

Trying to change this, I get this error message:

“this type of header is not editable with tagdiv composer. Please use cloud header template”

I dont want to replace headers for dekstop, only mobile. Trying cloud header templates I only see 2: 1x blank and 1 template. If I use the non-blank template, will this solve the mobile header issue? Or would it also change the desktop version (which I dont want?)
