Hi,

If the ads are in pages you can edit the page and remove the ads.

If the ads are in widget sidebars in posts and pages, maybe create sidebars without ads and set them.

If the ads are in the post content (top, inline or bottom ad spots) the theme does not have settings for specific posts. All it has are general settings to hide them per device
https://www.screencast.com/t/g6L9YSkB

Hiding them with CSS is permitted by Google when using media queries
https://support.google.com/adsense/answer/6307124?hl=en
Setting a display:none without media queries is forbidden by Google
https://support.google.com/adsense/answer/1354736?hl=en

For header ads you can use two header templates, ( both from tagDiv Cloud library, or only one with out ads ), you need to have set a global header for all pages/post and an individual one on the pages where you do not want to have the ads.
Take the Tour to Explore the New Header Manager -> https://tagdiv.com/newspaper-theme-customize-the-header-manager/

What you can do is to set a single post template from tagDiv Cloud Library with out ads and make a copy of this template and set ads in it for the post were you want to have ads ( the ads in single post template can be set using tagDiv Composer -> https://www.screencast.com/t/dYEh4nIv you can set as many ads you want using the ad box -> https://www.screencast.com/t/IiAlsDAT -> https://www.screencast.com/t/7ua8g3oti).

Maybe use a plugin such as Adrotate to better manage the ads in the website. There are many theme users that recommend this plugin. I believe it has settings for what you have to do per specific posts.
Some more about it here if you should consider it

Hi,

Please make sure that you do not have a plugin conflict with untested plugins, please deactivate all plugins and child theme ( if you are using ) and let only the tagDiv Composer , clear all cache, deactivate the cache plugin and try again.

Also you can set the date format in Settings>General, please check this documentation -> https://wordpress.org/support/article/formatting-date-and-time/

Thank you!

Hi,

Did you recently update the theme to the latest version? If so, from what version did you update? Please make sure you update all the theme plugins.

Note that the 9,7 update was a major update, it consists of modifications to the theme file structure, most of the files are now in the tagDiv composer plugin. Here is an article about the changes made and why they were made – https://tagdiv.com/updating-the-core-of-tagdiv-themes/

From what I can see currently the mobile theme is not active, and the website works fine using the latest theme version 9.7.3. While there are some issues in this update, with the mobile theme there should be none. So it is unusual that in your case simply activating the mobile theme plugin is causing problems.

If you want us to take a look at this issue, please send us an email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide admin login, also cPanel. Please include a link to this topic in the email.

Regarding the multi-purpose plugin, this plugin was merged with the tagDiv composer quite a while back – http://prntscr.com/o8wi1l so please delete it. The changelog for each version can be seen at the bottom of this page
https://themeforest.net/item/newspaper/5489609

Let us know.
Thanks

Hi,

If you are using the last version of the Newspaper theme ( v9.7.3 ) there was implement some new conditions for a better compatibility with WPBakery, therefore, some elements will not be available in the tagDiv composer. This was made to prevent issues with the respective elements. The single image, separator, empty space, widgets element, raw html… are some of them.
If you want to still have theme you need to deactivate the WPBakery plugin or replace the tdc_map.php from wp-content>plugins>td-composer>includes>tdc_map.php withe tdc_map.php from the previous version of Newspaper theme.

Thank you!

Hi,

The mobile version is look like that because you have the mobile theme plugin that provide you a better speed then responsive version of theme, but in order to achieve that speed you’ll need to create a new content for pages because in the most of cases those were made with builders ( tagDiv Composer, WPBakery ) and you need to use only the mobile editor ( you need to set the content for pages in mobile editor and this content will be display on mobile theme)
-> https://www.screencast.com/t/ebUIzt4se

Mobile Theme: Automatic Optimization for Mobile with Newspaper Theme -> https://tagdiv.com/mobile-theme-automatic-optimization-for-mobile-newspaper-theme/

Also for the 3 blocks, you’ll need to have set same feature posts (that have set feature category) -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/featured-posts-2/ -> https://www.screencast.com/t/QsJ6ppY4

If you want the responsive version and amp you should use this opinion -> https://www.screencast.com/t/jZct5ueBqOrb but if you have amp activate on pages you’ll need to create in Mobile editor a content for AMP version of page.

Let me know if you have more questions!

Hi,

You can always create new topics in the forum, we will try to help as best we can and as soon as possible.

1. If you mean the user registration, that is not enabled for the live demos. There would be no point to allow visitors to create accounts in a demo website.
If you would like to provide the user registration (membership) for your website, you can do so in the WordPress general settings – http://prntscr.com/o8v8qb then WordPress will allow visitors to create accounts – http://prntscr.com/o8v92k and the theme will display it as well – http://prntscr.com/o8v9h2
The theme login modal window will display the same information from the default WordPress login screen. It is basically the same screen and functionality but with some style added.

2. That is how the mobile theme works. The mobile version of pages will not be the same as the desktop version. This is explained in the guide – https://tagdiv.com/mobile-theme-automatic-optimization-for-mobile-newspaper-theme/
So while the desktop page can be built with the composer, and contain blocks, grids etc. the mobile version is limited to the mobile editor – http://prntscr.com/o8vbaq
If a page contains no content in the mobile editor, on phones it will be empty when the mobile theme is active.

The homepage on mobile displays a top grid with featured posts
https://forum.tagdiv.com/featured-posts-2/
Then there will be a latest articles section. If you enter content in the mobile editor for the homepage, it will be displayed between those 2 sections.

If you want to see see how the mobile theme looks and works, please check this demo with a phone, it has the plugin active – https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper_local_news/

Displaying a slider in mobile pages is possible, you can enter the slider shortcode in the mobile editor, similar topic here – https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/i-want-to-put-silder-revolution-logo-carousel-in-mobile-theme/

3. It is possible to create the mobile menu, but only if the mobile theme is disabled. Using cloud templates it is possible to design the desktop and mobile headers. These are templates built by us that can be imported and modified if needed
https://cloud.tagdiv.com/#/load/Headers
You can also build your own using a blank header template – http://prntscr.com/o8vge6
Here are some articles – https://tagdiv.com/newspaper-theme-customize-the-header-manager/
https://tagdiv.com/header-main-menu-newspaper-theme/
And a guide about the cloud plugin – https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-cloud-library-plugin/

If you have more questions, or if I misunderstood something, let me know.
Thanks

I don’t want the fancy dividers. Just a simple horizontal line with a thickness of 5px.

Hi, when I use the TAGDIV Composer on my pages (not the home page), I cannot see anything when I view it on mobile.

Click here: http://www.profootballnetwork.com/contact-pro-football-network

I have AMP enabled, and my home page shows up great, but I can’t get any of my other pages to show up.

Thanks.

Hello !

We are sorry for the inconvenience !

You will have to go into your cPanel and manually delete the folder from your issue

/srv/htdocs/wp-content/plugins/td-composer/

It appears that wordpress was unable to delete it before updating.

Please let me know how this works for you !

Thank you!

Destination folder already exists. /srv/htdocs/wp-content/plugins/td-composer/

Hi,

What you are describing (I can’t see the website, seems to be down at the moment
http://prntscr.com/o7si1f) is the latest articles section, it will always appear at the bottom of the page after your own content, when the needed page template is selected for the page
https://forum.tagdiv.com/page-templates-2/
The latest articles can also have a widget sidebar set. The settings for it are here in the composerhttp://prntscr.com/nwzs8g
Or here in the backend – http://prntscr.com/nwzsn3

If you don’t want to display this section, select a different page template, like the default page template for example.

Please let us know if you have more questions.
Thanks

Hi,

Is possible that in coming update to be includes some new elements in tagDiv Cloud Library, but I can not say if there will be a footer page that will to match the header template 12.

If you like the Header template 12 from tagDiv Cloud Library and you can not find a matching footer page, you can chose one that you like and edit it using tagDiv Composer or you can create a new page how you want, with the style, color and layout you want.

Thank you for your understanding!
