TD Composer works in “Pages” but not “Posts”. Assistance please.

Hello – I would like to create and place custom buttons on a single image, which I’m currently bringing in from TD Composer. I’ve tried a couple different ways – loading in a Hero element, as well as creating an inner row / column (similar to the Hero Header – Construction template, but I’d like to use an image as opposed to a video background). Could you let me know what I should do?

I am unable to create a sidebar with an twitter feed on a page (that is supposed to be the homepage). It works fine with posts, as they are not being edited with the composer. As soon I design the homepage with the composer, I do not know how I could include the sidebar… Please help. Thanks. Vic

I want to insert a ninja forms shortcode in composer. I only see 2 available external shortcodes in the add element section.

I can insert it in manually but whenever we make a change to the page in tagdiv composer again it deletes the shortcode.

Hi! TagDiv theme

I edited my website through TD Composer.
I am having problem that some element could not be shown an actual website, even though I properly set it up.
Those element are “Slider revolution” and “single image”.
You can see problem here.

I try other element and they are all working, just only two of these.

i’ve set a cloud header template for my websiste http://www.labussolanews.com.
in the mobile version, when pages loading, the top menu bar apear with white background but after a sec, is flashing black background and then return to white. I don’t know what is the problem, i’ve set averything to white in the header composer (row, element etc.).

what is causing this?

How is it possible to not have td-composer plugin rendering on every single post?

I want to use a countdown plugin and set it in a sidebar. How to use this plugin in composer? When using it in sidebar, it appears only below Composer area.

My website uses pages instead of posts and I would like to show author info at the bottom and meta information at the top. I also need to keep these as pages. I tried inserting the tagDiv composer block at the bottom, but this made the page look strange (full width without formatting) and also removed the sidebar which I require.

Basically I would like the exact functionality of a post with the ‘by author, date and comments’ meta at the top and then the author box at the bottom which links to their own individual author page with all their authored pages.

Please can you assist me with this. I’m surprised this functionality is so difficult to implement. Is there a shortcode I can potentially copy into every page at the bottom and top or a plugin you recommend using? (only inserting on pages with authored content – not pages such as the about, contact, categories).

First of all I just wanted to tell you, how happy I am with your theme, it´s really so great and even I am able to create a website now 😉

I just have the following questions regarding my website style-is-ageless.de

1) On the “STARTSEIE” the boxes around my thumbnail sometimes have different sizes (one is longer than the other). I know that this probably has to do with the amount of words regarding my title but is there an option to always have the boxes the same sizes? That would be great!

2) How can I change the size of the font on my “Startseite”? I can´t do it in the style category with the composer and with the general font setting I couldn´t see a difference when I changed the size there. Or maybe I just did something wrong 😉

3) Is there a way to design my categories (“MODE”, “AUßERGEWÖHNLICHE FRAUEN”) the same style as my “STARTSEITE”? So that the posts are in the same layout style? Or are there maybe any pre made category templates that could fit? I just didnt understand how to set them up, so if there´s a tutorial maybe that would be great.

I know that TagDiv newspaper doesnt natively support RSS feed import, but was hoping somebody could give some advice on this.

I want to be able to put an RSS feed in a news block and have it show the featured image, title, author, date and a short excerpt. and then I want the “read more” to point to the rss origin site.

I was using the FeedWordpress plugin and then using Auto Post Thumbnail Image Pro plugin to get a featured image out of the RSS.

for the most part this works, but the FeedWP plugin doesnt give much control as to what is pulled.
although it does pull the article into a category which is essential for TagDiv composer to make a newsblock out of.
But FeedWP doesnt allow for you to set the amount of posts and sometimes it runs wild pulling way too many updates.

I was able to successfully get the featured image and feed to appear and behave using a flexi block.
but since the FeedWP plugin grabs the image as part of the feed the image would show up twice, thus ticking the box to “hide image” in the flexibox worked. but the image from the feed excerpt doesnt resize uniformally since it is embedded from the feed plugin and not a featured image. and the excerpt length or content cannot be controlled using the flexiblock layout settings.

So even thought this combo works, it isnt perfect and customization seems a little janky.
Thus this combo doesnt work for me.

I am now using the plugin called WordPress Automatic, (it’s a fantastic plugin btw, and under $30 which is very worth it as it can pull almost anything from anywhere into your site, feeds, articles, Amazon, Youtube ect.)

but it pulls the full content into the site as a post and not just as a feed, thus making the user click the article from the block, then the article is displayed in the same site, which doesnt help to direct traffic to the origin site.
although you can set a template structure to add links to the source, you cannot automatically trim and automatically have newsblock “read more” point to the origin site easily and automatically.

Has anyone had any success in creating soemthing like this and have it behave well using news blocks?

basically, my question is how do I pull in RSS feeds, display the necc desired content and have it link to the original site?

**also, a note to the developers…Tagdiv is great, easy and robust but not having a native built-in RSS function on a template system that is primarily centered around displaying “News” seems a little disconnected.

and it would be nice if there was some better options for Woocommerce since it is becoming the goto pluign for wordpress ecommerce. There should be better native support and stlying included for product display and newsblocks, styling ect.

I’ve just started experiencing a problem when using any module that displays a list of posts. For example, when creating a flex module with three posts, it looks fine on the tagdiv composer:

Looking more closely, it seems to be related to the excerpt, which doesn’t show even when I set it to “show”:
