Hi,
Thank you for your suggestions, they are noted. I would like to add that the composer can be used to it’s full capabilities for shop pages. Also Woocommerce shortcodes can be rendered by the tagDiv composer
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/how-to-display-products/
So you can design a shop page with any element from the tagDiv composer and it’s settings, add shortcodes to display products if needed as well. Basically those product shortcodes can be used in any page.
As a note, once you set the page built with the composer as shop page in Woocommerce settings, do not edit it with the composer.
Thanks
Hi,
The multi-purpose plugin has been removed as a plugin, it is now part of the tagDiv composer. Please check the theme changelog
– https://www.screencast.com/t/uMkJAt6Pt
Are you using the latest theme version? The Cloud library plugin is available only since version 8.8
– https://www.screencast.com/t/O8cxqIUt2N

Please correct me if I misunderstand something.
Hi,
White screens could be solved by increasing the WP-memory to a higher value
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/requirements-for-newspaper/
If there is no need for modifications in that matter, in some cases the solutions from these topics worked for blank pages and other composer problems, you could give them a try if possible
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/gray-page-tagdiv/
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/javascript-error-td-composer-wont-load/
Let us know the results.
Thanks
Hi,
Sometimes the memory would still not be enough, if possible and allowed by your hosting provider try to increase it higher, also be sure to check the other parameters mentioned in the guide
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/newsmag-requirements-for-newsmag/
Also take a look at these topics, if there is still a problem try the solutions provided there, these solved problems for many users with composer trouble
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/td-composer-10/\
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/javascript-error-td-composer-wont-load/
If there is still a problem let us know, or mention the solution which worked in your case.
Thanks
I just saw in themeforest other people talking about it.
Unfortunately 🙁
I will have to stop using tagDiv composer and cloud templates
Thank you for your support!
NP 8.8.1 Changelog
fix: page settings removed from tagDiv Cloud templates
fix: tagDiv Social counter issue while editing with tagDiv Composer
fix: display errors on the theme Welcome page
fix: general issues with tagDiv Cloud Library
I had installed Visual Composer but recently I changed to TagDiv Composer. The problem is that I create a page and then I click the button “TagDiv Composer” as you can see in this screenshot:
http://i65.tinypic.com/352mzar.jpg
Later I can’t see anything. It doesn’t finish loading:
http://i67.tinypic.com/2llbmzc.jpg
What can be happening?
Thanks indeed!
I quote: “The page has to be recreated using the new page builder. You will have to build a new page and edit it with the tagDiv Composer replicating your original page (made with Visual Composer)”
So I have to create all my pages from scratch? Sorry I don’t time for that. Can I keep visual composer or will there be an easy migration?
Hi,
I have been experiencing difficulties working with TD Composer for my front page.
Each time I click on “Edit with TD Composer” all I see is an endlessly circling icon in the middle of the page no matter how many times I refresh.
My WP Memory Limit is currently set to “64 MB/request”, which is the recommended limit and I’ve progressively deactivated my plugins to search for any possible conflict to no avail.
As a last resort, I then updated the theme to the latest version (Newsmag v 4.4). Not only did the problem persist, I am now unable to navigate through the “Theme Panel” of the theme. Anything I click there just takes me back to the top of the page.
This is the URL to my site.
Thanks in advance.

Hi,
1. That is the mega-menu with sub-categories with the Newspaper theme, Newsmag has a mega-menu design like this
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/newsmag-mega-menu/
Again, the links and example are using the Newspaper theme not Newsmag. Despite similarities there are also functionality and design differences between the two themes.
2. You could edit the page with the builder you used to create it, probably Visual composer (now WPBakery page builder). That seems to be a heading or title, set a border right to it of the color you want, check in the CSS or design tab settings.
Or use CSS to do that – https://www.screencast.com/t/xYOdyi91K3
.vc_custom_1505806546312 {
border-right: 3px solid white;
}
Thanks
Hi Simion, I don’t think people are looking for a lot of customization. I just believe some basic additions would make most people happy.
In order of importance…
1 – Design the WooCommerce Pages to match the design of Newspaper. (Not trying to sound rude because I’m a fan of TagDiv… But have you looked at these pages recently? I’ve tested a lot of themes that aren’t WooCommerce themes, and surprisingly the Newspaper theme has the poorest designed WooCommerce pages by far. You haven’t touched them.)
Shop Page, Product Page, Cart Page and My Account Page
2 – Incorporate the stretching and or TagDiv Composer. Currently It doesn’t work. My main concern is the current small boxed design, it looks early 2000.
3 – Shop Page: Input of how many products are in a row and how many columns show.
4 – Product Page: Input of how many products show in Related Products.
To me these points shouldn’t take your team more than a few days and will add tremendous value to the theme. But at the very least make #1 happen and then hopefully #2.
Thanks,
IC
Hello,
Sorry but you cannot set fonts globally. The global fonts are found in the theme panel under the fonts section: https://forum.tagdiv.com/font-customization/
The individual fonts are found in the tagdiv composer plugin settings for each block in particular.
Thank you!
Hello,
You can place the shortcode in the post content and change the links for each one. You can create multiple instances of the same element. You can get the shortcode for a tagdiv composer element in the edit page screen. https://www.screencast.com/t/0DNDtQjYrK
Thanks.
Hello,
I am also have a problem since the update.
PLUGINS DISABLED AUTOMATICALLY
The following plugins were disabled because they are incompatible with this version of Newspaper:
tagDiv Composer
thanks
We have to be careful with the new options that we add in the composer. If there is a request mentioned or suggested by many users it will be strongly considered. It will also be considered if it will be very helpful and over bulk the composer. So this option may be available at some point in the future. Sorry for any inconvenience.
Hello,
I would like to change from Visual Composer to tagDiv Composer but every time I install and activate tagDiv Composer I get a white screen and the whole website breaks. I have to manually remove tagDiv Composer from the database to make the site work again. I tried deactivating Visual Composer first but still get the same issue.
Is there anything I can do with this problem?
Kind regards,
Katia
Hello,
The multi-purpose plugin must be deleted as it was integrated into the standard tagdiv composer and is no longer required. Please delete the plugin.
Please check the 8.7.5 change log: https://www.screencast.com/t/utJXwWh8wl
Thank you!
Hi,
But those would be two different subjects. First one would be related to Google crawler trying to access the wp-content themes folder and theme files. This could possibly be caused by the configuration of your server that does not disallow this.
The other issue is with the tagDiv composer plugin, which lead to 500 errors in WordPress and the website or wp-admin cannot be accessed in some cases. These are fixed in almost all cases as mentioned in the topic you provided. Other page builder providers than our own, also suggest some of the solutions we suggest, they seem to work in many cases.
We can take a look if you have composer problems and you tried those suggestions to no favorable result. maybe we can identify why it is not working for you. Send us an email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide admin login, as well as FTP and cPanel if possible. Include a link to this topic in the email.
Thanks
When working with font styles in the TagDiv Composer, is there a way to globally set them? For example the testimonials element. Or do I need to set them for each element individually in TagDiv Composer?
Thanks
Hello,
You do not need a plugin to create such a section in our theme. You can use the tagdiv composer elements to do it.
Use a text with image element or a fancy text with image element:
https://www.screencast.com/t/rsfudRAwa
Thank you!
Hi,
The sidebar will be below the post content on phones, not above it. That would be the case for all layouts with a sidebar. The sidebar will be displayed below the main content. You could experiment with modifications in the default post templates
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/sidebar-above-post/
Or maybe experiment using the available settings and new Cloud library plugin + tagDiv composer to design a post template as you wish
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-cloud-library-plugin/
Thanks
Please update your theme to the latest version and update the exchange plugin as well. Then get the api key from the https://fixer.io/ website and implement the key into the tagdiv composer api key section for the exchange widget.
Thank you!
Hello,
There is no general fix as the issues are very different from one case to another. In some cases, you need to upgrade your memory allocation in wp-config to 256MB, other issues require this code added to the htaccess:
<IfModule mod_substitute.c>
SubstituteMaxLineLength 10M
</IfModule>
In some cases, the composer files were blocked by the firewall.
Every particular case needs the fix that applies in that specific case. There is no single issue where a general fix can be applied. Each case needs to be investigated and the proper solution provided for each case.
Please contact us via email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide wp-admin and cpanel access so we can investigate your particular case and provide the solution that applies to you.
Thank you!
Hello,
If you do not use the tagdiv composer, you can disable it and use VC instead, but a page builder is required by the theme for the proper functionality of the theme elements. You still need one of the 2 page builders available. The tagdiv composer is lighter than VC on the server load though.
Thank you!
Hi,
That would depend where you would like to do that. A general theme setting for width is not available. There are full width elements to be placed in pages
– https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper/full-big-grid-1/ (10 types of full width grids)
Rows in pages can be stretched – https://www.screencast.com/t/LjPxJ1iLIIz
Header and Footer elements – https://www.screencast.com/t/HgtsNIs1
Also now with the new Cloud library plugin together with the tagDiv composer, you can design or import post templates
– https://tagdiv.com/newspaper-8-8-update-what-s-new/
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-cloud-library-plugin/
But a general width setting for the whole website does not exist, there are more individual settings to be used for width.
Thanks
