HI
I would like to build the TagDiv Composer startpage on my test blog before doing it on doing it on the actual blog. My test blog is versions behind and needs to be updated. I have not updated it beacause I am not sure if I can use the same activation code on the test blog, which is located on a sub-domain within the domain the activation code is used on. Can the activation code be used on several blogs within the same domain? If not; how do I manage a secure and updated test blog?
Hi,
I have a few examples where I can’t seem to change the text’s font style and size. Mostly with titles. I’m checking with “whatfont” extension to make sure, and there’s very surprising settings that have never been set by me in the backend. Also cleared cache in shop and did control + F5.
I basically have 2 fonts that I want to use: PT Sans (in titles) and Georgia (in body). I checked the font setting repeatedly in backend to no avail.
Issues:
– Blog Article titles (posts are working well tho)
– In composer (on homepage specifically): homepage blog post, image blocks TITLE incorrect
– In backend text editor (when writing posts) I see old settings, not the font I see in the frontend
– Footer social media text (open sans?)
– in category pages (ex. https://www.dimitrovadam.hu/elet-tudas/): the category body text, article titles (with thumbnail, and in the list below the thumnbails too)
Apart from this the only issue I have is that in 1) Mozilla 2) Chrome incognito mode the logo disappears from the menu, and only the top menu appears. Sometimes it appears.
I’m trying to edit the page Manage with Live Preview:

Here is the link it is accessing but blank:
website/wp-admin/customize.php?autofocus%5Bpanel%5D=widgets&return=%2Fwp-admin%2Fwidgets.php
also, how to fix my social sharing? it is broken in any of my articles:

Hello,
Soon I bought a newspaper 🙂
I started picking up things. Without wanting at one of the blocks In TD Composer, I tried to write a shortcode name in Cyrillic alphabet.
Since then, it does not allow me to save any shortcodes in TD Composer. I cleared all sorts of caches in browsers and on the server, but not working. Chrome Inspect Element tool say:
Uncaught DOMException: Failed to execute 'btoa' on 'Window': The string to be encoded contains characters outside of the Latin1 range.

Can you help me?!
Hello,
I have 2 questions.
Question 1: what is the proper image size ratio for the Tagdiv composer single image element so that whether it be on mobile, tablets, or PC the image will fit and not be cut off? I have to give an image wired sizing just so that they can fit, therefore some look strange and disproportionate on the different platforms.
my site: https://www.techsiting.com/best-processors/
question 2: How do I increase the text of post titles on pages such as home, guide, and so on? if you look at my homepage below, the tiles and text on the page are too small. How do I increase them?
my site: https://www.techsiting.com/
Hi,
Indeed it seems the layout is broken at the moment, the page structure does not look right visually and code wise. There are also errors on the homepage only. First, if you are using Visual composer as the main page builder, please deactivate the tagDiv composer. When both editors are active there could be issues.
Also try a theme reinstall, maybe the update was not done properly. Try the FTP method
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-the-theme-2/
Let us know the results.
Thanks
Hi,
The images are displaying fine at the moment from what I can see, on the whole website
– https://www.screencast.com/t/OA2JjvvyxQGs
Only the latest version is available for download. In order to update the theme please follow this guide
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-the-theme-2/
The most recommended method would be by FTP, and as always make a backup first. Update the theme plugins as well (deactivate and remove, then reinstall from latest theme package).
Note that in version 8 of the theme, the tagDiv composer was introduced. This composer will be activated by default when the theme is updated or installed. In order to use it all the pages have to be recreated with it. Or you can continue using Visual composer for the moment, and make the transition when you want, if you want. More about it here
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-composer-tutorial/
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/visual-composer-tagdiv-composer-transition/
Also a multi-purpose plugin was introduced, this adds many more elements and options to the tagDiv composer only
– https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C0ARTSimnUY&t=287s
Visual composer (now WPBakery Page Builder) is still provided in the theme package and updates are included along with the theme
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-visual-composer-plugin/
Let us know if you should encounter issues after the update. It is a general recommendation to always keep WordPress and the theme updated.
Thanks
Hi,
The tagDiv composer is a plugin as well. It can be deactivated in the plugins section if needed. Note that it will automatically be activated after a theme update, that is the current functionality.
The theme package includes the Visual composer page builder, check the plugins folder
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/whats-included/
It will be updated along with theme updates.
If you do not want to use this bundled version included in the theme package, you could purchase a separate plugin with license. In that case try to use similar versions as the one provided with the theme. When the plugin is updates by it’s developers, we will test it first and only then include it. More about this here
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-visual-composer-plugin/
Thanks
Hello designr,
Please refer to the following topic here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/td-composer-add-element-dropdown-list-not-scrolling-down/
Thanks for the message!
Today I woke up and to my demise TD Composer had stopped working. A fault CSS loader has taken place of the fast, original one, it simply quits the loading. It loads header background color then stops, sinalizing several jQuery errors.
I:
– disabled all plugins
– updated theme from 8.5.1 to 8.6
– update theme’s plugins
– cleared cache
– disabled cache plugin
Nothing worked!
I just got this error out of nowhere simply after waking up. TD Composer has became buggy, with a faulty CSS loader. If the TD Composer loads any external assets then this should definetely be looked into, i thought this was a personal problem but it’s not seeming like it.
Hello!
Please tell me if I’ll deactivate TD Composer, and then install Visual Composer for this item (https://codecanyon.net/item/vc-particles-background/13139726 ), make all the necessary changes and then deactivate Visual Composer and turn back TD Composer. In this case, there is no conflict in the theme?
Hi Bogdan,
thank you for your response.
Where should I than deactivate the tagdiv composer after the updates? And where did I find the plugins? And is it possible to buy the full license of the VC (for further updates) at evato for example?
Hello,
I am finding it difficult to use the TD Composer to add elements onto my page. The window does not scroll down so I can view all the available elements (like blocks).
I suggest you add a scroll bar on the side for ease of use.
Thanks
Hello Jeff,
All the changes over your homepage might be simply made from your page builder. Before starting your project, please read all of your documentation from here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-composer-tutorial/ If is not what you mean, please provide more details about what exactly you want to achieve so I will be able to provide a more accurate response.
Thanks for your understanding!
Hello,
It is always recommended to make a full back-up of your site before attempting such a big update. I also recommend creating a duplicate of your site on a subdomain and apply the update there so if anything goes wrong, you will not affect the live site. If you used VC on posts, then you will not be able to use the tagdiv composer so you should disable it (it activates automatically when updating) You should also make sure you update the plugins as well. Plugins that come with the theme will not update automatically so you have to disable and delete them and then install them again from the main theme package.
Thank you!
but I bought the same theme about a year ago as well – and in that version it works without problems when I put in the composer-code on several pages. I was wondering why it does not work anymore. In the old version there where also more options with several fields.
your solution does not work: When I deactivate the mobile theme I have several troubles on mobile: first of all I cannot define the background color of the mobile header. It is black in the desktop version but white in the mobile version and with a white logo – that sucks. second the menu does not work before the page is fully loaded.
I cannot build every page two times – thats really not practical. Please don’t give me the “leave us alone answers”, rather than some constructive tipps. It worked already, so you can make it work again I guess. Or tell me how to deactivate the mobile theme only on several sites.
If you were to try and edit the shop page after being set, it would cause an error in the tagDiv composer when trying to edit it.
With Visual composer there should be no problem. Either way you should decide on the composer you are going to use, and deactivate the other. They can influence each other when they are active at the same time, certain elements can be affected.
Visual composer does not have a title element, it has a text with title. The tagDiv composer with the multi-purpose plugin has a title element.
So build your page with the composer you want, deactivate the other. There should be no issues in this case.
Hello,
You use visual composer on posts Here is the code from the inspector on that post: https://www.screencast.com/t/toQpYPoF
That is why it now behaves like so
If you are not sure if you use vc on posts, simply disable vc and check the post again. If you see shortcodes on your post, then it was created using VC.
In this case you have 2 options
Option 1: disable the tagdiv composer and use vc just as before. (the new tagdiv composer activates automatically on a new theme update so you have to manually disable it)
Option 2: Remove any vc elements from your posts and start using the tagdiv composer and no longer use a page builder to create your posts.
Thank you!
Hi,
Those would be the block headers styles. There is a general setting for this in the theme panel
– https://www.screencast.com/t/NltKOMw10AG
This is overridden by individual block settings set in the page with the composer, or for the widgets
– https://www.screencast.com/t/VTZx45XPp
There should be no problems with these settings, I have checked them and they work properly. If this is not what you are trying to do, please provide some more details, for a better understanding.
Thanks
Hi,
Indeed that is a pretty old version of the theme. Much has changed in the theme since then. Also there might be issues with the latest version of WordPress.
This is an update guide that you can follow

I am having this exact same error, with the addition of the following in the PHP error log:

I went ahead and upgraded Newspaper from 8.5 to 8.6, and re-installed td-composer, td-social-counter, and td-multi-purpose plugins, all by deleting the old ones and installing the new ones, to ensure no leftover files. I have no other td plugins installed.
I flushed the CDN caches and the browser caches and the local wordpress page cache. The error persists.
I added the following line to the top of the td_panel_settings.php file and the error went away on that page:
require_once( 'styles/tds_api.php' );
Unfortunately, a new error shows in the “font settings” tab of that page:
Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in /home/morebusi/public_html/morebusiness.com/wp-content/plugins/td-multi-purpose/panel/td_panel_fonts.php on line 7
Also, the components still do not show up in the editor as far as I can see.
Any help will be appreciated.
Hi,
we´re using the Newspaper Theme in version 7.8.1 and we want now to update at the latest version. Our online news portal has a lot of content …
Also we have many pages and articles build with Visual Composer and so we wouldn´t use the tagdiv composer. How we should now update? How we could deactivate the tagdiv composer – if we have to do this?
Are there any other issues which could happend, if we didn´t use your composer?
And the last questions (for the future): Is there an “easy” way to transfer all content created with Visual Composer to tagdiv composer – or have we to re-create all content which has been made with the Visual Composer? And what about articles which has content like shortcodes?
Thanks a lot for your help
