Hi,
Please check the theme system status and make modifications to the WordPress and server parameters mentioned in this guide
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/system-status-parameters-guide/
Contact the hosting provider and ask them to make these changes for you, if required. Insufficient resources can cause issues like you are having. After everything is set properly, check if the composer works as intended. Let us know if there still is a problem.
Thanks
Problem solved! I just deactivated tagDiv Composer 🙂
Hello, I updated to latest version of Newspaper 8.1.2 and I updated WPBakery Page Builder to version Version 5.4.2. But now all my pages are aligned left and not centered which I originally had them.
When I edit the page using Page Builder it looks normal. I use the 1/4 + 1.2 + 1/4 column for all my pages.
But for some reason 1/1 and 2/3+1/3 and 1/3+1/3+1/3 are always highlighted in blue and no matter which one I choose, these 3 are always highlighted blue… same thing when I create a new page to test. I will not change.
When I hover over the different alignment options they turn an off white color and I can pick another column alignment and it’s highlighted with the off white color, but it does not change anything.. These other 3 remain blue…
Also, do I need to delete Tagdiv Composer? It’s listed now next to Classic Mode.. I can’t remember seeing it there before…
I have been getting 503 errors since installing W3 Total Cache. I have also been blocked from the TagDiv Composer edit menu that disappears on the home page when this W3 Total Cache plugin is activated. It also doesn’t allow new posts to feature on the home page. When deactivated all functionality returns and the error messages disappear but site speed is super slow.
Does anyone have a solution please?
I have an issue with the Newspaper Theme that was working fine yesterday on http://www.snowsbest.com but has issues today.
When I go through dashboard to view live blog posts my WP dashboard edit menu comes up in the header.
However if I go to the home page it doesn’t and as a result I cannot access TagDiv Composer to make home page layout changes.
Any idea how to solve this please?
Hi, fixed the problem. TagDiv Composer ruined everything, so just deactivate it, now everything looks good.

Hello every one, i am facing problem with newspaper theme, i am unable to open tagdive composer to edit homepage of theme, when i click tagdive composer a new window open and wheel start moving and nothing happen, i dont know why this is happening.
Kindly help.
I was testing the Newspaper theme on my personal server, now i have migrate to final server and only 2 plugins was installed, the WPBakery Visual Composer now have no license and I cant save when use the TD Composer.
How can i solve this?
Hi,
You should only use one composer for the website. Using both page builders can lead to conflict, or elements not displaying properly. Not to mention that if you were to edit pages created in Visual composer for example, with the tagDiv composer, this will result in problems.
You will have to make a decision and choose what you think it’s best. Note that the future updates will bring many more options and features in the tagDiv composer only. Take that into consideration if possible.
Thanks
Hi,
If you should decide to switch to the tagDiv composer, all pages created with Visual composer will have to be recreated. This composer is created specially for our themes, meaning it is more optimized and tuned.
Elements specific to Visual composer are not available in the tagDiv composer. We plan to add more original elements, options and features added exclusively for the tagDiv composer. This will happen in future updates.
You could wait and see what these updates will bring and make a decision then.
Maybe set up a sub-domain and install the theme there, and make tests with the tagDiv composer.
Thanks
Hi,
Mainly support means helping with theme available options, not theme customization. We do not have a dedicated customization department at the moment.
Maybe I misunderstood the problems you are having using the theme. From your first issue I understood that you want to place a grid on the homepage. You can place any of the available grids, there is no problem achieving that. Edit the page with the composer and insert the grid you want, where you want it (on top of the block 15 you mention).
The second issue you present describes displaying the author avatar on the module thumbnail. There is no function in the theme to do this.
You could adapt the solution for this topic, and edit the respective module (module 16)
There is a solution in this topic for implementing views in modules, you can try it for block 21 (module 16)
Thanks
Hi
The problem is, TD Composer isn’t working for some reason. After adding it just keeps on loading and the grids aren’t added.
This is why I switched to Visual Composer.
Hello!
Can we have both TagDiv Composer and Visual Composer active on the same site, but used on different pages?
We are currently migrating our site to the Newspaper Theme and there are a couple of pages that have components that don’t exist in TagDiv composer (the FAQ block for example). Can we keep the Visual Composer plugin enabled and use it only on these specific pages? Will it have an overall impact on site performance, even on pages that do not use it?
Regards,
George (omorfizoi.gr dev)
Hi team,
Can you please tell me if it’s necessary to migrate to TagDiv Composer? I don’t have time to do it myself and would have to hire someone. I have read your documentation but I don’t understand if there’s a huge benefit.
As far as I can tell, it might help with speed. How much faster will it be?
Hello anmol,
You should have to be active only the Td Composer, try to re-add again your Big Grid with our page builder and check the results. If the Visual Composer is active, try to disable it, clear all the caches and check the results. For more information about transition between these two builders, please check here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/visual-composer-tagdiv-composer-transition/
Thanks for the message!
Hello mattarchambault,
I have checked your website and it seems your images are stuck in opacity 0. This usually happens on a js error caused by plugins or customization or other external optimization tools.
Please disable all plugins except visual composer, clear cache and reset CDN files if you use it. Please also check any custom code you might have added to the theme panel or the theme files. If you use a child theme, please switch to the main theme to make sure it does not affect the proper functioning of the theme.
Thank you!
Hello.
I have a website http://www.comunidadxbox.com with Newspaper theme but I have a problem when I try to add a Text With Title option with TD Composer, when I click in edit content option don´t load the editor and I can´t add any text.
Here you can see the image:

Hi,
I am only using Visual Composer as TD composer doesn’t work for some weird reason. My website URL is http://www.GizCentral.com.
Please take a look
Hello anmol,
Provide your website URL so I can take a closer look at it. You should use only TD Composer or Visual Composer and not both of them because you can bring some errors. Check the following manual here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/visual-composer-tagdiv-composer-transition/
Thanks for your understanding!
Hi,
I believe this is a misunderstanding, hopefully we can solve it. Each available demo has it’s own custom design. Installing it will import a demo stylesheet, this may overwrite default styles and designs.
The magazine demo has a condition set for the block titles in it’s stylesheet
– https://www.screencast.com/t/hoWCoi1Ohi5
The result is that the block titles background is transparent, only the border color is affected by changing the background color.
If you were to remove the code shown in the screenshot, the background of the block titles will have default functionality
– https://www.screencast.com/t/cg1hoKIop
You can then customize the blocks with the composer and set the colors as you wish

Thanks
I have inserted big grid in visual composer but it’s not showing up on the homepage. How can I fix it?
Hi,
Each block or grid has options to filter and sort the content that is displayed. This is an useful guide regarding block settings
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/block-settings-guide/
Simply edit the page with the composer, then add/remove and customize the elements you want
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-composer-tutorial/
Please note that each block and grid is made of modules (same type or different ones)
These modules can display an author name, date and comment count
– https://www.screencast.com/t/3c6GtgIwf
Not all modules display that information however. You can see how all the blocks and grids look in the live demo
– https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper/block-1/
– https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper/big-grid-1/
– https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper/full-big-grid-1/
There is no option to display the author avatar and view counter in the modules. They will only display what they are meant to.
Thanks
Hi Simion,
Thanks for your quick reply! The code you provided works well, except for the pages I build with Visual Composer. Do you know which classes I have to select for this?
Visual Composer also offers its own design options for each object but it seems that these options are not working. Probably they are blocked by theme settings?
Hi guys,
I just installed the theme and it’s beautiful. However, I can’t figure out how to duplicate the homepage layout of the Travel demo — I imported the template (without the content) and also watched all of the instructional videos, but the process seems to have changed since updating to the divTag Composer.
Thanks in advance for your help!
