Is it possible make a page with various pages inside?
I try to explain:
Using visual composer to build a page I can insert Row, widgets, rows inside a row and so on.
Is it possible to interrupt the flow of widgets and insert as a separator a sort of “separator of page” link in MS word?
So I can have for example 5 widgets in column in first page, 5 widgets in column in second page, 5 widgets in column in third page and so on

Unfortunately, the theme does not have any such an option that allows you to use the blocks in post pages, sorry! You can try using the Visual Composer for post pages but please notice that we do not recommend using it.

I’m having a problem with the Slide element: when loading it shows the first slide correctly, and the second shows a blank space.
It happens both with Visual Composer in Newspaper 7 and with the new Tagdiv Composer in Newspaper 8, here is a screenshot. One example is https://www.calcionews24.com and another http://www.milannews24.com.

Hi,
If the theme system status is properly set, there should be no problem of this kind. The tagDiv composer is fully tested and created specially for this theme.
Do not try to edit pages created with Visual composer, this can result in problems. Create new pages and edit them with this editor and everything should work as intended.

These blocks and grids can display posts and also pages. There are extensive filtering options and post sorting for these elements

The content that is displayed can be filtered by category, tag, author etc. Many sorting options are present as well. This is meant for automatic dynamic of the pages. Specific posts can be displayed at all times for example, by adding post ID’s in the filter.

The single image elements are among the most affected by the composers. Each has it’s own different implementation and functionality for these elements, that apply when both Visual composer and tagDiv composer are active at the same time.
The settings for the single image have some differences between the editors

But these settings should be present regardless of having both editors active, and the image displayed. Only on the front end the images may not be displayed properly until deactivating Visual composer.
A similar element as the Message box is not available in tagDiv composer at the moment. There will be more added in future updates however.

Please notice that if you want to use only the Visual Composer, you can do that, without any problem. Notice that our page builder is at the beginning and also, it is in a continuous development. You will not found all the elements which Visual Composer has. From now on, this plugin will be improved with some features which have to be exclusively for this builder.

There should not be any problem changing the length of the excerpt, to your liking. This can be done for each block module in particular. Each theme block is made of modules

The length of the post tile can be modified for all the modules, they all have this option

You will have to make this modification for the modules needed, and maybe go to the cache settings and clear it after making the changes.
Regarding the cache you are using, you will have to consult the cache instructions for more information about it’s settings and what they do.
About the page you mention, I don’t think I fully understand what you mean. Any block, grid or element can be added on pages, with the composer. Please follow the tagDiv composer tutorial and also this useful guide for block settings

I just upgraded my website with newspaper 8 and tagDiv Composer, removed visual composer plugin but having a conflict with W3 Total Cache. If I activate this cache plugin then my page contents with stretch to full width with weird looking padding, I know you guys suggest to have some other cache but W3 Total Cache is pretty powerful and popular plugin. So I am looking for a solution to work with these both.
I’m having this same issue. I installed Newspaper 8.1 via FTP. My system status is all green and I have no other plugins enabled except Maintenance Mode, and I just get a white screen when trying to edit a page with tagDiv composer. I installed the composer plugin that came with the 8.1 zip as well. It’s just broken.
I disabled all plugins, except for Tag Div Composer, and had the same problem. I updated the Newspaper from 8 to 8.1 and installed the new Tag Div Composer plugin with it. Now when I go to edit any page with the composer, I get a white screen.

I’m finally finding time to attempt to switch our customized page layouts from using Visual Composer to using Tagdiv Composer. I am having trouble with two components as I try to use Tagdiv Composer: Single Images and Message Boxes. I can’t understand how to replace these items using Tagdiv composer and achieve a similar layout. The images don’t seem to work at all, the settings don’t display any image at all. Can you point me in the right direction on how to replace Single Image and Message Box items using TagDiv Composer?

Is it possible to use only the Visual Composer to build pages and posts? If so, do I need to deactivate your page builder?
I’m very familiar with Visual Composer and there are a ton of add-ons and extensions that will add more functionality that we need.
I also need to know if we don’t use your page builder what challenges will we face or what features will we lose?
Can I still use your post templates if I use VC?
a) check your system status
b) you can’t edit a page built with ‘VC’ with ‘TDcomposer’ – you need to make new one
c) clear all caching
d) check for problems with plugins, like Yoast SEO has had bugs — two updates this month(!); try disabling plugins to see which might be causing issue
e) WordPress security update this week; always good to clear transients with WP-Optimize after update AND resave permalinks to clear all micro-caching
f) is using any ‘auto optimization’ plugins, these can break things — disable, or selectively disable minification options
Also note if something “suddenly stops working” it’s because “something” changed on your website. You need to stay on top of what you’re doing — e.g., if you have auto-updates for WP turned on, what got updated? Why? What changed? Did you keep copies of earlier version to roll back if plugin update actually has bug in it trying to fix prior bugs? (ahem, Yoast!).
Food for thought anyway.
