1) Where should I go to remove STAY CONNECTED (facebook/twitter/youtube) I don’t mean to remove the social icons for all pages, but do not want them to appear on the homepage to show how many followers at first sight. Can I remove the entire section including the bar says ” STAY CONNECTED”?
2) I am installing Default Demo (dummy version) , and wonder where should I go to edit the articles for “Lifestyle News” and “Make It Modern”? In other word, how do I choose which articles to show up on those sections? Can the headline or title to be changed from ” Lifestyle News” to “Lifestyle”? or they cannot be changed?
3) What tags do I need to add to make sure stories show up on the top of the page? Big rectangular space(not ads) cut into 4 different categories? Where can I go to change the setting if I want them to be reduced to 1 big space for top story only? (1 instead of 4)
4) If you roll down on homepage, to Lifestyle news section, you can find first article written in Chinese. I added the phrase “tbd” to the story. My question is, I don’t want to reveal all story when people read them on homepage. I want it to stopped at where I typed “tbd” , so the readers who are interested to carry on, they can hit “Read More…” and enter that page to finish up the story. How do I do that?
5) If I want to remove the whole section at homepage as I think it is too long for readers to scroll down to the bottom. Let’s say, if I wish to remove the entire section of Tech and Gadgets, where should I go to do so?

I got another question to ask. The tutorial movies I see on youtube are using tagDiv builder. I use wordpress, and trying to change everything from the theme panel. Is it faster to use tagDiv builder?
Can I change setting from both in the future or I need to chose one or another?

1) You will have to edit your page using the tagdiv composer and remove the element. You will have to learn how to use the page builder to add or remove elements from pages: https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-composer-tutorial/
2) The articles shown ion block can be changed from the block settings. Again, in the page builder. This guide should help with the settings: https://forum.tagdiv.com/block-settings-tutorial/
3) Sorry but yopu cannot split a block into 4 separate categories. A block is treated as a whole element. THe filtering can be changed for it, but not for each section separately.
4) When using a language that does not use spacing for it’s characters you will need to change the excerpts of the theme based on letters not words: https://forum.tagdiv.com/excerpts-introduction/
5) that is not a section but a block. You have to edit your page and delete the block. Use the guide above to properly make use of the page builder.
6) The theme panel and the tagdiv page builder are 2 different things. They are not the same thing and do not provide the same options. The page builder is used for creating pages and the theme panel is used for everything else.

If you scroll down on my homepage, you can still see it is showing the full content, not just the first paragraph as I wanted it to be.

2) I am the admin of my website. I also create an editor and author account. Somehow, if I log in as author or editor, the top of wordpress has weird codes. If I log in as admin, everything runs normal. Also, I cannot preview post as an editor or author, only as admin. Can you please tell me what is happening and how to fix this?
3) Can you please tell me where exactly to go to remove icons for facebook/twitter/subscribers on the homepage? I tried to look them up, not sure which block they are.

If I want to change categories, where should I go to make such changes? For example, It is now called Lifestyle, what is I want them to called “My Lifestyle”

You probably have not cleared cache after making the changes. Now your excerpts settings apply but they are too short. You should increase the number as words are not = to letters. You should make the numbers larger. Right now even your titles are being cut.

I am still having issues on how to increase the number as letters. Can you please tell me where to go to make such changes? I don’t see any space in Excerpts settings asking me to fill in the number. However, I found another setting in Settings->General->Cache Level(level2 = normal)
Can you please tell me what are the main difference if I set them to level 1 to level 4?
Also, a quick question. Where can I go to create front page and change all the categories into what I want them to name?

There should not be any problem changing the length of the excerpt, to your liking. This can be done for each block module in particular. Each theme block is made of modules

The length of the post tile can be modified for all the modules, they all have this option

But not all the modules display a content excerpt

You will have to make this modification for the modules needed, and maybe go to the cache settings and clear it after making the changes.
Regarding the cache you are using, you will have to consult the cache instructions for more information about it’s settings and what they do.
About the page you mention, I don’t think I fully understand what you mean. Any block, grid or element can be added on pages, with the composer. Please follow the tagDiv composer tutorial and also this useful guide for block settings

Assuming I want this specific article to be called as ritz, and under category travel. Can you please tell me how to change the permalinks? I have hotel and attraction under travel category. Therefore, I’d like to have my article names in that order as above.
3) I am still having trouble to have editor/author to save or publish a post. I have no problem to do so as an admin. 1. The theme does not have any caching for the website. There are plugins for this purpose. The recommended caching plugin is the WP Super Cache

Or maybe there is server side caching, you could check with your hosting provider for more information.
2. The permalinks can be changed in the WordPress settings based on the available capability and functionality of WordPress, please check the guide provided by Bogdan. The theme does not add any other settings to modify permalinks.

There should be no problem having your authors and editors create and publish posts. I have tested this and it is working as it should. By default these user roles can publish post. Make sure these users have the role required

Compatibility with plugins is a general statement, not particular to Newspaper. There is no universal theme that works with all plugins created. Some plugins are compatible and others not, but since there are a lot of plugins to choose from this may not be such a big problem.
For SEO purposes you can use the Yoast SEO plugin, that is the recommended choice.

I have another question. For each category, I’d like to choose block to show 10 articles per page, then move on to page 2. How should I do that? It suppose to have over 50 articles per categories, so in theory, it should have 5 pages at least. However, is there any function that I can ask it to show up to page 3 and more?
In other word, if you are at page 2, you can click to choose page 2 3 or 4…rest will show up with more. If not, that is fine, I just want to limit the articles down to 10 per page. Please advise.

If we have 100 articles, but 70 written in Chinese, and 30 in English. How can I keep it on the same website under one domain, but to show them differently under different language option.
For example, if people choose to read Chinese version, then 70 would show up. If they choose English, then 30 articles would show up instead. However, they are all under one domain.
The key is to focus on two total group of readers, but I do not wish to create two websites as the content is the same and would like to keep them in one. Is it possible to do so? I am thinking maybe I can have the sublink to add /CH/ when it comes to Chinese, and /EN/ when it comes to English?

The posts can be split in categories, that is default behavior. You could create pages where you can assign categories that contain posts in Chinese only, for the grids and blocks, and other pages that contain the rest of the posts. Or mix the content on the same pages, grouped in blocks.
For example create a menu item called “Chinese” and add it to the menu, linking to a page you create
