Please make sure your theme is up to date and your visual composer as well. Please download the latest version from your envato account and install the latest version of the visual composer plugin found in the main theme package.
Current versions:
Theme: 8.1
Visual composer: 5.2.1

If the options are still not there, please disable all plugins except the page builder, clear cache and reset cdn files if you use it. Please also check any custom code you might have added to the theme panel or the theme files. If you use a child theme, please switch to the main theme to make sure it does not affect the proper functionality of the theme.

Hi,
That means you are tryong to edit a page that was not originally created with the tagdiv composer. A page cannot be edited properly if it was built with visual composer or any other composer beforehand. Pages have to be re-created when switching page builders. Please test the tagdiv composer on a new page. Create a new blank page and see if the composer works on that one.
Please re-create your pages that were built with other page builders.

The api plugin will not have this parametere if you used it as it was built before the tagdiv composer was implemented. Please try the method specified in the documentation provided.

Please check the plugins section and make sure you do not have both visual composer and the tagdiv composer active at the same time. This usually creates layout issues such as you mention with the images. Make sure you clear cache afterwards

It seems like the content inserted in the text element and then in the tabs has a spacing problem from what I can see

The height of the element does not take into account the image size, that is how it seems. I have not seen this before, I could not say why this is happening. Either leave the empty spaces as it is now, or I see that placing a height for the text columns element works as well

The other problem that is happening is very unusual. Deactivating a plugin should not reset the theme activation. Something is not functioning properly with the theme or the database.
You could try a fresh theme install if possible, and use only theme plugins at first

The tagDiv composer will automatically activate itself when the theme is installed or updated.
Check if the issue is still happening. Make a full backup before, just to be safe.

This is not difficult to achieve, it was created and designed to be accessible. Simply click on the block while editing the page with the tagDiv composer, and the block settings section will be displayed

Disabling the tagDiv composer should not have any effect in pages built with Visual composer or crash the website or page.
There might be other factors that could be causing this kind of layout issues. Plugins, custom code in theme panel or in the theme files, customization of the theme elements (like blocks and modules) directly or through a child theme.
If you could maybe provide a link to the website you mention with the layout issues, we could inspect it.
Try using the browser inspector to inspect the block mentioned, and maybe identify what is causing it to display like that and where is it coming from.

I have tried the same thing in tagDiv composer, but I do not have this problem with the row background

Please try as a test to deactivate all plugins except the theme plugins, and clear any installed cache. Then try the row stretch and background again. It should work properly for you as well.
Maybe a plugin or if you have custom code in the theme panel, could affect the row background.

The tagdiv composer cannot be used on posts. It is a page builder exclusively.
It does not have any functionality to be used together or inside the WordPress customizer.

The main problem is keeping both visual composer and the tagdiv composer active. Please select the one you want to use and disable the other. DO not keep both page builders active at the same time.

Make sure the tagdiv composer plugin is enabled from the theme plugins section.
Also if it is enabled but it won;t show up on your end, please try to disable all plugins except the tagdiv composer and clear cache. Then test again.

Please check the theme system status and make modifications to the parameters mentioned in this guide, if necessary

You could ask your hosting provider to make them for you if needed.
Then deactivate all your plugins except theme plugins included in the package as a test. Create a new page and use the tagDiv composer to edit it. See if it works properly. Please let us know the results.

You cannot edit categories as you would pages. We have not encountered any builder that can do this. Our own page builder cannot do this, visual composer cannot do this or other builders we have seen.
Categories cannot be handled as pages. You will not be able to add custom content to a category. Sorry.

2. The version of Visual composer provided in the latest theme package is 5.2. We will provide updates for this plugin within a theme update. Each plugin update will be tested before, to ensure full compatibility. Do not update the plugin if you have a separate purchased licence for Visual composer, this could create problems.
